Verbindungsproblem ipad und itunes
Hallo zusammen
Ich habe ein Problem. Wir besitzen 2 Ipads und alle lassen sich problemlos mit itunes verbinden. Nun haben wir ein neues Gerät, das sich einfach nicht verbinden lässt. Jedesmal wenn wir das neue Ipad via USB Kabel mit itunes synchronisieren wollen, kommt eine Fehlermeldung von itunes, dass keine Verbindung zum Gerät hergestellt werden kann.
Kann mir jemand helfen, bin mit meinem Latein am Ende.

Das war eher Zufall.
Ich bin Informatiker und gerade dabei mich in IPv6 einzuarbeiten. (Wird immer mehr Thema bei den größeren Unternehmen.)
Hab mir dann heute n bisschen was zum Testen aufgebaut und dabei auch an den Einstellungen vom Mac gedreht.
Irgendwann mal zur Unterhaltung iTunes für bisschen Musik angeschmissen und dabei ziemlich doof geschaut als es meine Geräte wieder angezeigt hat.
Hab dann überlegt was ich denn geändert habe und bin dann durch try&error auf IPv6 gekommen ...
Das hätte Apple auch mal irgendwie mitteilen können!! -.-
Naja, Hauptsache es geht wieder und der ein oder Andere findet hier die Lösung!
In diesem Sinne wünsche ich noch ein schönes Restwochenende!

Verbindungsprobleme zwischen iPad und iTunes
Hallo Leute
Habe vor ca. 2 Wochen mein iPad 3 16GB erhalten.... Bisher hat alles geklappt.. Ich konnte mein iPad mit iTunes verbinden und Musik, Apps,... draufmachen... Gestern Abend wollte ich mal wieder ein paar neue Lieder aufspielen... Am Anfang hat alles wunderbar geklappt.Ich habe zuerst ein paar Apps geupdatet und dann habe ich ein Update für das iPad runtergeladen... Hat soweit ich mich erinnere eig. auch ganz gut geklappt... Kurz darauf erkannte weder Windows 7 noch iTunes mein iPad mehr... Habe es mehrmals ausgesteckt, habe die USB-Ports gewechselt(USB 2.0/USB3.0).... Das einzige, was kam, war der Sound von Windows 7, dass ein Gerät erkannt wurde.. Auswählen konnte ich es trotzdem nicht... Habe auch iTunes deinstalliert und neuinstalliert... Habe die neueste Version direkt von Apple gedownloadet... Zurzeit kann ich mein iPad auch nicht mehr verwenden... Es zeigt mir jetzt nur noch folgendes Bild an:

IPad und iPhone auf eine Apple ID aber mit getrennten Nummern

mit dem Update auf iOS 6 hat sich ja einiges getan, leider war nicht alles okay.
Mein iPad und das iPhone hatten vorher unterschiedliche Nummern (0171 xxxx und 0172 xxxx) unter denen Sie erreichbar waren. Mit dem wechsel des iOS auf 6 wurde das jetzt gerade gezogen. Bemerkt habe ich das bei den iMessages, die jetzt auf beiden Geräten gleichzeitig nur für eine Nummer erscheinen.
Leider kann ich keine Telefonnumer in den Einstellungen eintragen, sondern nur die eMail Adressen.
Wie trenne ich das wieder sauber? D.h. die iMessages landen entweder auf dem iPhone oder dem iPad?
Wie trage ich die fehlende Rufnummern ein?Films can't be re-downloaded in all countries. Does the film show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes app on the iPad ? If it does then you can re-download it. If it doesn't then you will need to copy it from your iPhone to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases and you can then sync it to your iPad.

Mein iPod nano 7 wird in windows und itunes nicht mehr erkannt
Hallo zusammen,
mein iPod nano 7th wird von iTunes (neues Version) und WindowsVista Home Premium 32 nicht mehr erkannt.
Deinstallation und Neuinstallation von iTunes hatte auch keinen Erfolg.
Auf einem alten PC (Win XP, neues iTunes kann der iPod gelesen werden und dort wurde er auch neu aufgesetzt).
iPad und iPhone werden ohne Probleme erkannt (auch am selben USB).
Reset des iPod usw. habe ich bereits alles durch.
Ich hoffe mir kann jemand helfen.

I have problems accessing apps installed in my iPad through iTunes 12
I have several apps installed in my iPad, among them Adobe Reader and AVPlayerHD. With the previous version of iTunes it was easy to access these apps and upload content directly to the apps in order to see this content on the iPad 3rd gen, model MD368B/A.
Now I can't even find a way to access the apps via iTunes!
I see the Apps item on the menu on the left side column. Click there and I see a list of apps on the right side. Click on Adobe Reader icon for example and nothing happens. In the previous version of iTunes I could see the icon, click on it and there would be an area where I could either drag content to it or click a button to upload it. Now that functionality seems to be hidden or has disappeared.
To say this absolute disregard to the user experience from Apple is frustrating is an understatement. Why does the company insist on being this disrespectful to us users' time? Why should I have to put effort into 'learning' how to navigate a new interface when all these changes from the previous version seem superficial, irrelevant and just plain idiotic? There seems to be absolute no advantage to this new user interface.
And I used to love Apple. I have used its products for more than 20 years. In part that's the biggest annoyance. There is really no alternative, so if they keep messing with these absurd interface changes and lack of awareness and respect for the user's experience there's little to do about. Except rant like this on such a forum. Is there any hope anyone from the company might ever listen?

Would appreciate in connecting Remote App on iPad to iTunes. It used to work find, before iTunes 11.0 - but now pop up window to input 4 digit code does not appear. Any ideas how to prompt window to open on iMac? Remote App works OK, but says that Home Sharing is not Turned On, although it is. Both devices are logged into my profile account.
You no longer need the 4 digit code in iTunes 11.
iTunes (10.0.1 or later)
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
iTunes 11 or newer: Turn on Home Sharing in iTunes by going to File > Home Sharing> Turn on Home Sharing.
iTunes 10.7 or older: Turn on Home Sharing in iTunes by going to Advanced > Turn on Home Sharing.
Connect iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to a Wi-Fi network that is connected to the local network that your Mac or PC is also connected to.
Open the Remote app (software version 2.0 or later) on your mobile device.
Turn on Home Sharing in the Remote Settings screen. Make sure to sign into the same Home Sharing account you used to sign in to from iTunes on your computer.
Once Home sharing is enabled for both your computer and your mobile device, Remote app will be be able to view and control audio and video playback in your iTunes library.

You have no choice but to lose your data back to the last backup you made.
Here's how to do the recovery. Note you may have to try to get into recovery mode more than once to succeed:

Just bought a new 4th gen iPod Shuffle for my kid. Problem is I cannot do the initial set up, as the device does not show up on iTunes on my PC. Also the charging does not light up. Any ideas on what could be wrong, as I am able to see both my iphone and iPad on iTunes using the same PC?
I also tried manually underlining a few things on the new iPad and when highlighting a paragraph, it would skip a few lines and the line would go through a few as well. Looks like a major iBooks glitch needs to be addressed here.

I am trying to tranfer photos from pc to ipad via itunes. I put the photos in a file and sub-files in order to tranfer them as albums: an main album with albums within. All the photos tranfered but into only one album. Is there a way to do this? Is there an app that would help. Also, I tranfered two albums into iphoto. I edited a photo in one album which created a new album of edits. I have removed the photos form the album but I am not able to delete the album themselves. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I am having the same problem and it is even bigger.
When opening a 1-page PDF in iBooks and sending it via mail it is sent inline as preview, but the recipient cannot open the file anymore. Also on iPad and iPhone there is no "open in" possible.
Somehow the mail app does destroy the file. What is going wrong? -

My situation is this. I have an app, Stitcher, that allows me to listen to podcasts on demand via my iPhone. I use it frequently. I recently upgraded to iPhone 4, and when I did, it upgraded my app on my iPhone. Due to many dropped calls, I returned my iPhone 4 and resumed using my iPhone 3g. Now in iTunes, when I go to sync, it says that the stitcher app only works with iOS4, which I won't upgrade my 3g to because of speed issues. The only version available on the app store won't work on my phone. Also, I have a backup, but not TimeMachine, so I am not able to pull it off a backup.
I noticed that I still have the old version on my iPad. So I deleted the app in my iTunes/Mobile Applications folder and synced, but the Stitcher app didn't reappear in my mobile app folder. Is there any way to get the app off my iPad, so I can put it on my iPhone?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the app show up on the App List on iTunes? If it does, then it's been saved to your iTunes folder on your hard drive. Do a search for the app, because I just don't think you can move an item from your iPad to iTunes, unless you purchased it on the iPad, which it sounds like you didn't.
You should be able to re-download the iPad version of the app, if one exists. Contact the developer, who might be able to help out.
But thanks for pointing out the app. Just downloaded it to my iPhone 4. -
Hey, when I connect either my ipod or ipad to itunes I get the prompt 'itunes was unable to load data class information from sync services. Reconnect or try again later. Can anyone help me with syncing my devices?? Thanks in advance

Connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page (though it looks like Apple are doing some maintenance at the moment so the link isn't working). You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - not including photos in a subsequent sync is how you delete them from the iPad (synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad).

How can I move my iPad's iTunes backup from one user to another?
Is it possible to move my iPad's iTunes backup from one user to another, so as to change which user the iPad is syncing to without deleting any app data? Currently the iPad is synced to one user on my iMac, and I would like to transfer it so that it will sync with a different user on the same iMac (using iTunes, of course). I'd like to replace content from the old user's iTunes library with my user (eg. music, movies), but I don't want to loose app data in the process if I can avoid it.
I have tried to use the pathway /Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup but my iMac doesn't seem to have a MoblieSync folder. I wouldn't know what to do with the backup anyway though.

I've done this, it is easy, but takes time and patience.
On the existing mac with OSX and Configurator:

- run disk utility and verify your disks are ok, a must
- make note of the user logged in when using configurator such as "bob"
- connect a new or newly reformatted USB formatted for Apple
- run time machine and backup to the USB
- Take the mac off the network,
- Buy a new mac
- setup the mac with a new logon account like Paul or "bob2" do not use BOB !!
- finish the new purchase setup, get to your desktop
- now run the migraiton assistant moving bob from the USB to the new mac
- reboot, logon as bob, launch configurator and connect just one ipad. Test

I'm signed up to the Cloud and itunes match - the whole game. But I cam getting annoyed with having to delete songs one by one on my iPhone once dowloaded from the cloud as I only have a 16GB phone....yes I listen to music non-stop! So, I am thinking about getting an iPAD as I rarely use my MacBook Pro for anything other than surfing and music now... so the question is: "On an iPad with iTunes, do you know if you can edit/delete all your tunes on your device with a "clear all" button rather than having to delete a song one by one like you have to do on an iPhone (if not synching via a MacBook/ PC with iTunes account where I know you can clear down and refill with ease)????
