I'm also having trouble logging into my account. Everytime I login with what I'm sure is my correct password, it says an email is on the way for verification, but I never get it in either my inbox or junk on 2 different computers. I've also gone through the reset password option but that doesn't send me an email either. I've tried at least a dozen times in the last few days. Any help getting logged in is appreciated!

Welcome to the Best Buy forum!
I would say that a dozen attempts to login to BestBuy.com and reset your password is too many, so let me see what I can do to help.  There are a couple things we will want to do and the first is to delink your My Best Buy account from any BestBuy.com accounts.  You can link your accounts again once you are finally able to login.  With that being said, I have delinked your accounts.
The next thing we will want to do is make sure that your information on file is up-to-date because an old email address or old phone # could potentially prevent the email with the verification code from being delivered.  Please send me a private message with the below information, by clicking on the blue button found within my signature, and I will make everything is up-to-date.

    Solution
    When the latest oci.dll is in PATH variable it works. Since database 11G contains the latest oci.dll at $DB_HOME/bin, it was working on such SQL Developer.
    So the solution is to download the latest OCI driver and install it in a separate location and add it to PATH variable defined on the Desktop where SQL Developer is installed.
    Below are the steps to install it
    a. Download 11g ODBC driver from the instant client. This is at location
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/oci/instantclient/htdocs/winsoft.html and Option to download is "instantclient-basic-win32-11.1.0.7.0.zip (46,734,555 bytes)"
    b. Install it at machine hosting SQL developer to any location. (say d:\instant-client)
    c. Add D:\instant-client\instantclient_11_1 to the PATH environment variable (as first entry)
    d. Save it and start SQL Developer. DO not connect and "Right Click" on connection. You should see "reset password" option as enabled as in below image.
    Latest oci.dll is needed to overcome this issue. Since this DLL is not shipped with SQL Developer it's dependent on existing OCI driver.

  • Admin Password not working, Resetting password not working

    Out of nowhere my G4 required me to login (I never had to previously). I tried every password I have ever used and nothing worked. I took it into the Omaha genius bar, and the nice gentleman used the install disk (I think it was a 10.4 install disk) to reset my password. When we resarted we weren't required to type in the password, so he assumed it was fine.
    I started my computer once at home and it was fine. When I did a restart, I was required to login. The login does not recognize the new password. I tried ressetting the password, but it doesn't seem to take. It doesn't give me a warning, but when I try to login, it doesn't work. This is super frustrating. I can't find the 10.4 install disk, so I was just using the computer's original install disk to change the admin password.
    Any suggestions to actually change the password or to figure why it isn't recognizing the password?

    I am assuming these original disks that came with a Quicksilver may be as early as OS 10.1. I imagine password setting is a pretty fundamental process to any version of OSX but I would feel very uncomfortable about doing anything to a Tiger drive with an earlier OS version. Would be interesting to test, but not on my computer!

    Well thanks for answer because I see multiple clients with the same problem and they did not give information. Although already nokia care this informed last month about the problem and see the case, and think if I still have a phone outdated or not.

    After 2 years of poor service and lack of signal I have had enough if O2.Yesterday I rang 202 to give 30 days notice to leave. I was promised I would receive a text with my PAC code. I assumed this would be immediate, but have still not received it. How long does this usually take, and If I ring them again will they be able to give me this over the phone ?

    You should ring 202 and request your PAC again. They should be able to text it to you almost immediately. Once you have your PAC you don't need to give 30 days notice. You just need to give your PAC to your new provider. That automatically cancels your O2 contract. There's usually an overlap, but you will be refunded what you haven't used.   • Correct password not accepted, requested password reset but not receiving reset emails

    I am signed into the OLD Firefox sync with my correct password and username. I want to update to the new sync because I've got a new PC that i need to sync to and the old syn won't accept adding new units anymore. However, when I try to log in to update Firefox, it tells me that my password is wrong, which I know it isn't. I read that passwords set before 2012 may not be accepted, so I asked to have my password reset and Mozilla is supposed to send me a reset email. I've asked for the reset email multiple times, but they're never sent one (not in spam folder, I checked). Other have had this same problem, how can it be resolved? No way to email Mozilla support for help (grrr)

  • Blocked Account; Resetting Password Not Working

    Over a week ago my account was blocked due to suspicious activity.  I have followed the instructions to reset my password six times now and I am still told that I cannot purchase Skype credits or use the $25 I already have in my account.  Every time I report this to customer service via email, I get the same response with a link to reset my password.  This is getting ridiculous.  I feel like I'm just going around in circles and now I have $25 in Skype credits that I can't even use.

  • Not Receving Verificati​on Code e-mails or Reset Account Password e-mails

    Hello
    I'm unable to login to my Best Buy account.  When I try to login, I get the message "In order to protect your account, we need to verify your identity before you sign in. We have sent a verification code to your e-mail."  Yet I do not receive the email.  I also tried to do a password reset on my account several times, but I don't get that email either. 
    I tried to submit an e-mail support ticket, and was able to receive a confirmation and reply regarding the issue. In that e-mail they claimed they sent me a reset password e-mail, which I also didn't receive.  I have gone through and checked spam, etc. If it is any help, that reference number is: {removed per forum guidelines}
    I also even created a new best buy account to test with, and I was able to receive a reset password e-mail for that account.  I tried to link it to My Rewards and it says it sent a confirmation e-mail to the other e-mail address (the one I'm having an issue with) for linking and I never received that e-mail.
    I signed up for this forum using that same e-mail and received the confirmation e-mail with no issue.  
    Any help would be appreciated.

    You would think that logging into BestBuy.com to access your My Best Buy™ account would not be that difficult, so I can understand feeling frustrated at this point.  From my experience, using an alternative email address will usually resolve the issue.  If you have already setup a BestBuy.com account with a different email address, then I may just need to make sure your information is up-to-date so that you can link your My Best Buy™ account.

  • Account password reset sent but not received by Outlook.

    I have requested a password reset, went through the process and had success at Apples end. Email was sent but not received by the Outlook account email I have been using for years. Outlook is still working fine. Nothing in Junk folder and have added the apple email to contacts (from last reset).
    Any ideas?
