Verification email doesn't come

Hi.
I have had to mess around with settings since the new look webmail. It seems whilst oing it I must have deleted one of my accounts as it was picking up messages 3 times. Thats sorted but when i try to add a new email address so I can send and received from an external account, i get the box that pops up saying a verification email has been sent, but it hasn't!! I have checked in spam and if i click on the link to send again i get sent to a window to login to BTinternet and then 'manage email adresses', which shows all the email address registered with the account, including the open that insists need verifying, if i click save or cancel at the bottom it takes me to Account Home page and still no verification email sent! Can anyone help?

    Check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.

    Try creating an account without a credit card again. Can you create one with that same email address?
    If not, try checking your junk mail filters and/or your spam folder for an email from Apple.

  • Can't remember password. Security ? (DOB) isn't correct for some reason. Email doesn't come to current email (might be old work email).  Help!

    I got my iphone & ipad many years ago.  My ipad was stolen and I had to set up a new user ID for some reason.  But all my old purchases are on my old ID.  When I try to do the reset password it gives option for security question or email.  Security question is my DOB which I obviously know but it tells me it is wrong.  When it emails me, it doesn't show up in my inbox (maybe it was my old work address when I originally set it up).  How can I get in so I can access to all the stuff I bought before my ipad was stolen?  Can I merge the two apple IDs?  Help!

    If you have a rescue email address on your account then have you checked the inbox and spam folder on that email account as well ? If you haven't (the reset email would go to your primary email address if you don't) or its not there, and you've tried requesting the reset email again, then try contacting Support in your country, after confirming your id and that it's your account they should be able to reset the email for you.

    You can't merge accounts, nor transfer content between accounts. What you might be able to redownload will depend upon whether the items are still in your country's store (audiobooks and ringtones are one-time only downloads), and if you've moved countries since buying them. What you can redownload will show in the Purchased tabs in store apps on an iOS device, and the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on a computer's iTunes. Redownloading an account's past purchases may tie a device or computer to that account for 90 days : iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID.

  • After downloading Lion and getting the cloud, email doesn't come into Mail.

    After I got my iPhone 4s, I downloaded Lion to get iCloud so my contacts and calendars would sync. When I couldn't open Mail, I followed rkaufmann87's instructions and Mail opened fine.   • I have not got a verification email for my password for the apple id that i created over two weeks ago.  i have tried resetting my password and resending the email but nothing comes though and i can not buy anything on itunes.

    i have an apple account, but i created a new one because none of the passwords i use worked on it (i hadnt been on in a while)
    so i set up another account with the same email and a new password on January 27.  i have chevcked my emails every day since then and my junk email folder and there is nothing there to help me!
    i cant log on to or use my itunes at all because it tells me that i havent verified my password and every time i click resend verification email and nothing comes to my email.
    i dont know what to do now,  i have just tried to reset my password online and it said that it worked, but when i go on itunes there is still nothing working...
    any help would be appreciated!

    I can't find any solution. I don't even remember when I changed my apple ID! So does that means I cant recovered my purchased apps from my " old" account? I am totally innocent, for I did not intend to "Change" my account name

    What happens if AppleID verification email is not responded to? I have to setup 100  iphones for user who do not use email. I have email addresses for them, but don't want to have to config email for them and teach them to use it just to answer one email. IT will not let me sign in as them and respond to the email, so each user has to have IT config email on a computer and then they can respond. This is a huge productivity hit for us.

  • Verification email is not being sent to me

    I want to log into my long time bestbuy.com account to purchase a computer. I entered my email and password and it is asking for a varification code that is sent to my email. I never get that email. I have tried multiple times and with different browsers. I am pretty sure there is only one email for my account as this is the only email I have. How can I order online. If not I will be forced to buy my computer at Walmart before the sale ends.

  • HT1349 My apple ID was keyed incorrectly on start up of new iPad. So the email address is wrong and I cannot verify as I do not get the verification emails? Help anyone?

    Apple Id was set incorrectly, so the verification emails do not come through. Now my new iPad is locked in to an apple id that I cannot verify and so I cannot use download any apps that I need. Does anyone have solutions?

    Do you know the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the apps you need? It should be a simple matter of going to Settings > Store, tap the Apple ID that appears then Sign Out.
    Sign in with the correct Apple ID and you should be all set.

    It's a really bad idea to post your email addresess - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove them.
    This is a user-to-user forum and no-one on here can take any direct action. If your Yahoo address is not working that's something you would need to take up with Yahoo - have you checked it by sending yourself an email to it?
    Otherwise you will need to contact Support: go to https://expresslane.apple.com/ and click on 'iTunes' in the center column and then 'iTunes Store' in the right-hand column and proceed from there.

    You may change this under settings, mail-contacts and-calander. Are you try to use stock iOS mail app? if this doesn't work, you can use Gmail app from the App store to make it easy.
