Verify by birthday

Sometimes my iPad asks if I want to verify by answering questions or by email. When I choose to answer questions, it asks for my birthday but then tells me it is an error.
Also when I try to sync iTunes from laptop to iPad, it only goes from iPad to laptop, not the other way around.

Here is a step by step guide for syncing music from iTunes to the iPad.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on all of the albums or playlists that you want to sync - or the entire library if you like.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
Can I assume that you are not able to sign into your Apple ID on the iPad? If so, that might be why you cannot sync music back to the device from iTunes on your PC - if the music was purchased with the ID that you cannot sign into.
But, somehow, I still think that I am missing something here.

TS1544 I never accepted to set up a keychain password when I was setting up my Mac. Now I'm being prompted for a password! It's rendered my Mac unusable.

Bought new at WalMart. With initial set up it asked use existing or create new apple id. I chose create new. I don't remember if it asked there for the email address but not a password. It did ask for a birthday (they are both younger than 13). So the home screen came up. Went to settings>icloud>apple id and password. I chose get a free apple id where it said they were too young so I used my husbands and my birth years for each girl. So I still havent set a password entering the apple id's then chose forgot password entered the email and chose reset by email. I tried by security questions but it couldnt verify the birthdays. If it matters, their emails are attatched to an iPhone and an iPod but with my apple id.

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. You can now go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your correct iCloud ID and password.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to have them reset the password so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. ICal birthday calendar from Tiger missing after upgrade

Hi,
I recently upgraded from Tiger to 10.6.7 Leopard. I noticed that iCal did not import my Birthday's calendar that I had manually created in Tiger. None of my birthdays show up except for one when I select "show birthday calendar" in iCal preferences. I have done the following:
Removed from Leopard and replaced with my Tiger data the following:
com.apple.iCal.AlarmScheduler.plist
com.apple.iCal.helper.plist
com.apple.iCal.plist
I have also removed the iCal folder in the Application Support folder in my Library. After I did this I reopened iCal.
That didn't work so I tried removing the Calendars folder from my Library and reopened iCal to no avail.
I also rebooted into Tiger on my external to verify that the missing "birthday' calendar is still there, and it is.
I tried backing it up when I was in Tiger, than rebooting in Leopard and tried importing the backup to no avail also.
Any other suggestions?
Edit: The calendar that I had created "Birthdays" does show up under "On my Mac", but the actual birthdays are nowhere to be found.

The birthdays for the iCal birthday calendar are taken from your address book
You will need to have one contact page and one birthday in your address book for each person.
Otherwise enter the names onto the correct dates in iCal and set them to repeat each year which is what I have done. I run couples and families in my address book.. Most of the Grandkids don't have their own pages

How to Delete Duplicate Birthdays in iCloud?

While the birthdays are shown properly on my iPhone, there are duplicate records in iCloud. I guess this might be due to revisions to the contact information, or synchronization of two (or even more) sets of contact information with iCloud by mistake. For the latter, I have already removed the duplicate set of contact information from both my iPhone and iCloud. However, there are still duplicate birthday records in iCloud as shown in the attached picture. When I attempted to delete the duplicate birthdays, a message saying that this is a read-only information and can't be edited would display.
I should be grateful for other users' advice on how to resolve the problem. Advice on how to distinguish which of the duplicate records is associated with the existing contact and hence should be retained, and which is/are associated with old records and can be deleted would also be highly appreciated. To clean up issues related to manually adding birthdays to a calendar in Calendar (or iCal):
1. If you already have the Birthdays Calendar enabled, deselect it in the Calendars list in Calendar (or iCal).
2. Search Calendar (or iCal) by entering "birthday" (without the quotes) in the Search dialog in the top-right corner of the Calendar (or iCal) window.
3. Sort the Search results by title, so they are easier to analyze.
4. Locate any birthdays that are returned in the Search results that are not contained in a Holidays Calendar (such as John F. Kennedy's Birthday, Lincoln's Birthday, and so on).
5. For each non-Holidays birthday returned, decide if you want to keep it. If so, open Contacts (or Address Book) and verify that you have a Contact for the individual. Enter the birthday information for that person in Contacts (or Address Book). For more information about updating Contacts (or Address Book) fields, see this article.
6. After verifying that the birthday is entered in Contacts (or Address Book), remove any birthday events not stored in the Birthdays or Holidays calendars by selecting them and choosing Delete from the Edit menu.
Note: You can select consecutive items by holding down the Shift key while selecting them. You can select non-consecutive items by holding down the Command key while selecting them.
After cleaning up any manually added birthdays, you can enable or re-enable the Birthdays Calendar. How to change second birthday entry in contacts to be english

I recently noticed that when I attempt to "add" a second birthday entry into my contacts the date options come up in Chinese. If I attempt to change it by clicking on chinese, the only options available are chinese, hebrew and islamic. This does not occur on the first entry of a birthday. The first "add birthday" works as desired given you the month,day, year as you would expect when language is set to English. This occurs regardless of adding a new contact or modifying a current contact. I verified that in "general, settings, mail, contacts, calendars, alternate calendars was indeed "off". I did try toggling off to chinese to off again in the alternate calendars option. I do not believe this was a problem before version 8 as I do not believe you could put in a second birthday. Based on other contacts, I used "other" for the date.
Any information related to this would be helpful.

If you are having issues regarding your Apple ID and you have indeed tried to reset the password and the email and birthday verfication seems not to be working on multiple computers and on different networks then you will need to call into Apple to have this looked into further. IOS7 contact birthday bug

I really enjoy the new iOS7 but discoverd a bug in the calendar app. When "birthday" is activated in the calendar app the date of the birthday of a particular person appears in the app one day before the actual event. In the contact app all birthdays are correct. In iCal on my Mac Book Pro the dates appear correct.
The only solution was so far that I changed the date, saved it and changed it back to the old one. Then it appeared in the calendar app at the right date. But as I have a lot of birthday event of a lot of people (app. 700) and rely on its correct date and I am not able anymore to verify the correct birthday of every single person. Actually it should appear in the calendar app at the right time. I use the iPhone 4s and discovered the bug after the update to iOS7 and before update to iOS7.0.2. Meanwhile I updated to iOS7.0.2 but the bug remains.
If I assign new birthday dates to contacts it fine but the problem is with the old ones already created before the update.
Is there any other solution expect of going through all single contacts and resaving the date as mentioned? Thanks.

In calendar app on the iPhone I deactivated Birthdays and activated it again. Now it seems to work again and the correct date appeares at the right date in calendar.

We previously had a similar issue when migrating multiple accounts from MobileMe to iCloud. The issue was resolved by disabling and then enabling iCal sync through iCloud on our iMacs in System Preferences.
Always backup your calendar before troubleshooting (File > Export > iCal Archive).
The following steps are roughly from a Apple Support Community discussion.
Open iCloud in System Preferences.
Switch off (uncheck) iCal sync in iCloud System Preferences pane.
Backup iCal before doing this. You will need to remove calendar data.
Open iCal and verify the iCloud account is removed in the iCal preferences under accounts.
Close iCal, reopen System Preference and switch on (check) iCal sync in iCloud System Preferences pane.
Reopen iCal and verify the iCloud account is enabled in the iCal preferences under accounts.
At this point if the problem persists you might try completely signing out of iCloud and then signing back in. But remember to backup all related data (iCal, Contacts, Mail, Photostream, etc) before turning off iCloud sync!

ICal incorrectly takes name from Address Book to show in birthday calendar

When I-Cal takes the name of a birthday person from Address Book to post a reminder on the birthday calendar of I-Cal it shows the first name as though it was the last name. I have verified this problem by reversing the names in Address Book, whereupon I-Cal shows the name correctly in the birthday calendar.
Obviously the program is defective and needs to be corrected.

You probably have not clicked the "show birthday calander" in the ical preferences pane

Another Infinite Birthday Loop Issue

I have been a loyal Photoshop user since version 2.5.
I just purchased the Photoshop Photography Program and I am also unable to get beyond the verify my date of birth.
No problem when wanting to charge my card but a problem when trying to access the download center.
I initially ordered using an old name: wlescall

Restore the bootable backup/clone or Time Machine backup. Without one, you have a difficult situation. First thing to try is boot with your install disc, run Disk Utility, and repair the disk.

In order to use your Apple ID to create an iCloud account, the primary email address associated with the ID must first be verified. To do this, Apple will send a verification email to your account and you must respond to the email by clicking the Verify Now link. Make sure you are check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox. If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

Please understand my excitement:
i spent almost $1500 on this build
i'm in college so i dont really have a lot of spare money
i got it for my brother for christmas
i bought parts i KNEW were compatible yet all i gave him was disappointment
i tried LITERALLY every single suggestion i could find ANYWHERE online
despite what i tried (even though it worked for others) nothing could fix it
i tested each and EVERY hardware component individually and verified they worked
even though the CPU, GPU, MOBO, RAM, HDD all tested fine when put together... nothing
Two months roll by and my brothers god damn Birthday arrives and the only gift i have for him is broken hopes
I (only for a slight second) thought that the psu might actually be the problem
So i even (mainly to satisfy the idiotically overwhelming amount of ppl who claimed it was this) bought another brand new PSU, since almost everyone was SOOOOO sure that the problem was the PSU....
after spending another $120 on a really nice PSU it turned out that, gosh it wasn't the PSU
After calling MSI and explaining this all to them, they said "Wow, that a lot of stuff, it sounds like the only thing left to try would be to update the bios, because from what you have told me, it sounds like you have eliminated everything else."
So i download the newest bios AVAILABLE ON THEIR SITE, and update it, and then in a turn of
events not shocking in anyway at all and totally expected, it did jack .
Even though MSI claimed that they actually "tested" the 7950 on that board and it worked, they even said that
it should work right out of the box..... oh really is that so.........
Throughout the entire time (and i do mean EVERYDAY) since pretty much christmas i have been on the internet trying to find answers or ppl who have had similar problems. I took what gigabyte said into deep consideration
"How could they have added support for that card, if the GPU was manufactured at a latter date than that of the
motherboard."
Well i figured that the latest bios, being that it was the only one they offered on their website would fix that....
After the suggestion of the beta bios by "flobelix" i had about a 99.9% assurance that it wouldnt work, i mean after everything this what reason was there to have any hope. I was going to (if it didn't work) call MSI and tell them i am sending back the gd65 and i want to exchange it for the gd80, because regardless of what they say about the card and its compatibility, OBVIOUSLY there is some sort of problem.
HOWEVER, IT DID WORK AND I AM FREAKING OUT WITH JUST OVERWHELMING JOY!!

With all that, i think it is bullshit that i had to use a beta bios, to put it more bluntly an experimental bios to get the card to work. Clearly the 7950 worked on MSI mobo when they tested it because it prolly had the latest beta bios....
How the hell are all the people that buy the board suppose to get the beta bios, i mean you dont have it on your website, is everyone that buys a new GPU suppose to just go through two agonizing months of frustration and depression before they get an answer?
MSI needs to address this issue asap, at the very least they need to offer the beta bios on their website. I have been buying from MSI for almost 10 years and i have always been happy but this situation really pissed me off. I am not going to stop buying from them because i think they are a really good company but, they need to stay on top of like this A LOT better.
Therefore to conclude this all, i am extremely happy to have this finally resolved, i cannot thank you guys enough i really cant.
