Verify filename and password

I am trying to listen to a internet radio station that I used to listen to before and now I get an error that reads: "Cannot open file. Verify that the filename and path are correct and try again". I have other friends who listen to the station with no problems and I wonder why can't I listen to it.
I am opening the browser in Rosetta mode and I am using Windows Media Player 9 for mac. I have tried everything and dont know where else to ask.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Sadly, based on your report, there are more questions than answers...there are many things that could meet the criteria as you have stated it:
Your actual email account credentials
Your BIS account credentials
Your BBID account credentials
Your device lock password
From what you have reported, I cannot tell which of these might actually be your issue...so I'll make a few guesses, from which hopefully you'll be able to find what you need:
If the problem is with your email account credentials, then contact the service provider of that email account.
If the problem is your BIS account credentials, then contact your mobile service provider.
If the problem is your BBID credentials, then refer:

If the issue is your device lock password, then there is no hope -- there is no "master" nor "override" password to unlock your device...only the user-created device lock password can do so. Failing that, your BB will wipe totally clean and you will have to start over.

    I have defined a VPN connection and selected the following security items:
    IKEv2
    Authentication using machine certificates (NO userID and Password' NO EAP)
    Yet when I try to connect the first connection message that pops up is " Verifying Username and Password "
    That sits there a few seconds
    Then the next message is "Verifying Username and Password "
                                          "error 13819  Invalid
    Certificate Type"
    WHY is the process trying to verify a user name and password when I've done the following:
    Defining the VPN connection I DID NOT enter a userid and password, I left these fields blank.
    I also DID NOT select EAP authentication (I'm using IKEv2)
    I selected machine certificates.
    Is there a problem with the windows VPN logic?

    For machine certificate connection require moving/installing the certificate to the machine store. it is possibly due to either the client not having a
    certificate or the server certificate is incorrect.

  • Server 2003 VPN clients can't verify username and password

    Hi,
    Hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction. I have a Windows Server 2003 R2 standard SP2 running RRAS. It has Dual NIC's and is configured for PPTP VPN. I am using a BT Business Hub 5 for internet access and using the BT Static IP service.
    The BT Hub assigns the static IP address chosen to the Server using DHCP. The firewall is configured to port forward PPTP traffic to the 2003 server. This all works correctly.
    The 2003 server is on a domain where the DC is a 2008 R2 server. The DC also acts as the DNS and DHCP for the network.
    The default gateway for the domain is pointed towards our WinGate proxy server which also acts as a DNS server.
    The 2003 server LAN NIC is configured manually, usually I would not configure a deafult gateway on the LAN NIC as the WAN NIC needs the default gateway for the BT Hub.
    The problem I am having is if a default gateway is configured on the LAN NIC, I can connect to the VPN and it will logon to the network. Once connected everything works ok. If the connection drops, when trying to reconnect the client can no longer verify
    the user name and password against the domain and the connection is refused.
    If I do not have a default gateway configured in the LAN NIC the VPN clients can not verify the username and password for the domain at all and I get RPC failure errors in the event viewer with the source dnsapi.
    Once this error occurs the only way I can get the clients to reconnect is to disable the WAN NIC, restart the RRAS service and enable the WAN NIC again.
    Any insight will be much appreciated.

  • I can no longer use my aol on mac mail. When I set up the aol account name and password I get a message that says "Unable to verify account name or password". This is on all my Apple devices. Seems like an AOL server issue but no help from them!

I took everything to Apple store and everything is set up correctly on my devices. AOL tech support is no help and keeps giving me different solutions and answers, none of which has worked. Any solutions out there? All my Apple Software is up to date on all my devices

    Delete your Gmail account from the Mail/Contacts/Calendars settings page, and then add it back in using the new Gmail password.

    If your email address is valid, just go to https://appleid.apple.com/, click "Manage your account" to the right,sign in, click  Name, ID, and Email Addresses to the left, then click "Verify now" next to your email address.  Apple will send you an email to this address with a verification link.  Otherwise add an alternate email address that can be verified.

    It sounds like your device might be in Activation Lock.  Is it asking your to enter in an Apple ID & password, but only showing you the first letter of the email address and then some dots? Example: j•••••@icloud.com?
    If so, do you recognize that email?  Do you have an Apple ID that fits the same format?  If so, then go to www.cloud.com, log in with that Apple ID & password, and see if under Find My iPhone it shows this device.  If so, turn off the device, then remove the device from the list.

    I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
    So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one.   • I can't log onto facetime on my mac.  My apple ID and password is correct and it is working on my ipad/iphone.  My facetime preferences is grayed out and I keep having to turn facetime on.  My screen gets stuck on signing in or verifying.

    I have used facetime on my mac recently and have not had this problem until today.  Facetime seems to have logged out on all of my devices but after putting my password in on my iphone/ipad it is back to normal however my Macbook will not allow me to log in.  I also noticed that facetime preferences is grayed and I keep trying to turn facetime on and that is graying out as well.  I put in my email and password and I get stuck on "signing in".  Or I get past that and I verify my email and password and I get stuck on "verifying" only to get booted back to the sign in page.  My OS is up to date, my wifi is on and working and I have no firewall on my home network.  I cannot figure out how to fix this.  I have tried some previous message troubleshooting such as updating the DNS entry to add 8.8.8.8 and that did not work.  I have tried to toggle facetime on and restart but that did not work.  I can't delete and reinstall facetime as it is connected to the OS and will not allow you to do that.

    I have the same problem. Unfortunately, the troubleshooting link you added has the first step listed as "Verify that FaceTime is enabled in FaceTime > Preferences" which we (the original poster and I) can't do as our Preferences are greyed out. We can't click on them to verify anything.
    In FaceTime itself it's verified my apple id (also double checked via the site) and then it says the email is "verified" but then it freezes and after a minute or so it says "Could not verify the email address. Please check your network connection and try again."
    After checking the network connection, it still doesn't work. It's rather frustrating as it all worked fine until about a week or two ago.
    Any help would be appreciated.
