My iPad conveys that it is disabled, and that I need to connect to iTunes. When I connect to iTunes I get a message that I need to enter my pass code and open my Ipad, but I don't get the screen to open with a password. How do I fix this?
You will need to restore it. It may not sync, but the iPad's sidebar has to appear you can restore it and it will be as the last time ou synced it to iTunes. For more info:

When starting Final Cut Pro 7.0.3 I am all of a sudden getting a message that says "One or more of the scratch disks don't have read/ write access" and now the app won't operate - how do I fix this so I can use Final Cut Pro?
Glad you found the answer. But something seems wrong. FCP should be able to assign the scratch disk to your startup drive. It's not advisable, but it should be possible. You might want to try and figure out what's going on before what ever's going on cause other problems.

I am using a Dell and can't import the CD I need because the window doesn't automatically pop up. How do I fix this? Any thoughts?You could try my script ConvertFormat and see if you like the results. Would be easier than inserting the CDs and correcting the tag info again. Just be aware this is a one-way trip. Once you've thrown away some quality to shrink the files you can't get it back without going back to the source. You may better off investing in a bigger drive.
If you just want to squeeze more on the iPod you can use the built-in iTunes option to convert files to a lower bitrate as they are added to the device.

Your battery has reached the end of its life. If you have a MacBook with the removable battery you can get a new third party battery fairly cheap on eBay.

First Issue: All of my purchased apps (games) and apps such as Weight Watchers, Facebook, WeatherBug, Sports and Pinterest, Notes, Nook, etc. are all locked up. They simply flash, then nothing! For synced photos, then with the iPad connected to and selected on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, then on the Photos tab on the right-hand side you can control which photos are synced to the iPad : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236 . If it still says installed when you go to Purchased in App Store, click somewhere else, and option-click Purchased. That allows you to redownload already installed software.
