In normal practice, are there any functions to verify the backupset piece backup by RMAN is valid?

I have looked all over for a file with this date and cannot find it.

This is a big issue for me, essentially I will have a building full of
workstations registered and be able to control them then a week later
this error shows up and breaks control ability.
We are a school district on the SLA with a fairly large number of
workstations/users.
Do you have any idea when the SP1 is going to be released? If it is on
the horizon I can be patient and just delete and re-register workstations
for awhile but if they know it is a problem, have a fix for it, and just
don't want to make it available to someone who needs it I have a real
problem with that.
I remember when Novell was ahead of the pack in terms of realizing
issues, getting fixes out for them. It now seems they deterime there is
a problem and tell us they have a fix then tell us we can't have it yet.
The sheer fact they put a TID up that tells me the file I need to fix my
problem yet the file does not actually exist or is available to the
general public is something I never thought I would see from them. Where
did my old Novell go? This kinda thing never would have happened
before. This is why I got a CNE and pushed netware over and over and
over because I knew I had a technical advantage. Telling me the fix is a
file that doesn't actually exist is disheartening to say the least.
I again thank you for your research and please do not take my frustration
as being aimed towards you. I just don't understand why it has become so
difficult to get an exe that will fix a known problem.
I appreciate any help you can give. I think you guys do great work here.
I just need the rcconsole mentioned in the TID. Whom do I have to
worship to get it?

Let's check your Windows system.
1. Have you done all the important windows updates and service Packs on your system. If not do it now. START button, type in Windows Update and ENTER. Select 'CHECK FOR UPDATES'
2. Let's check your Windows system files for possible file corruption
SCAN and repair possible Windows system file corruption:
Go to command prompt (START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES right mouse click "command prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator"
type in
sfc /scannow
let Windows fix any system files that need to be repaired.
Restart the computer if it did actually repair any files.
3. Check your system for possible Malware. But you have to do it in WIndows Safe Mode.
Start your computer in "Safe mode with networking", go to this link download a free version of Malwarebyte.

Install and perform update immediately, then do a full SCAN. Remove malware if it indeed finds any. Restart computer to regular windows to let Malwarebyte complete the removal.
To start your computer in safe mode
Press and hold the F8 key as your computer starts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you'll need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then shutting down and restarting your computer.
On the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight the "safe mode with networking" option, and then press Enter. Log on to your computer with a user account that has administrator rights.
When your computer is in safe mode, you'll see the words Safe Mode in the corners of your screen. To exit safe mode, restart your computer and let Windows start normally.

Try the following:
Uninstall iTunes and Quicktime
Reboot
in the task tray right click the quicktime icon and click exit.
navigate to the folder in program files and remove the quicktime directory and all its files.
Reboot.
Now try install iTunes and quicktime and it should work

Firstly make sure you save it to your hard disk, and then run setup from there.
If it doesn't help, you may also try to unregister Windows Installer, and then reregister Windows Installer and check if it helps. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Press Windows Key + R
2. In the "run" box, type "msiexec /unreg", and then press ENTER.
3. Press Windows Key + R
4. In the "run" box, type "msiexec /regserver", and then press ENTER.
Besides that, You could try to create a new user to download and install the application.
