Verify the proper way to remove computers from WSUS

I have two servers that I want to remove from WSUS.
They can't be removed from their current computer group, Domain Controllers.
I decided that for the domain controllers, I want to go back to updating them manually every month.
My understanding so far is that I should do the following:
1) Remove the WSUS GPO presently attached to the Domain Controllers, then run gpupdate /force on the DCs and on the wsus server
2) Remove the computers from WSUS' Domain Controllers group, then remove the Domain Controllers group from WSUS Computers, probably run gpupdate /force again as above
After this I should review Windows Update on the DCs and reset it to check for updates and let me download and update.
Where I'm confused is knowing what registry entries, if any, I should revise to reset the Windows Update settings back to non-WSUS-using settings.
I think I would delete or change registry settings within these keys?? Or doing the above would have this effect??

Note: Please backup your registry key before making any change.
After new GPO is applied, check the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\WUServer
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\WUStatusServer
The two registry key locates your WSUS server.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU\UseWUServer
1 configure automatic update to use a server that is running WSUS.
0 set to use Microsoft Update.

I have Tidy Up installed, but I'm a bit wary to use it as I want to be 10% sure I do the right thing, it's a lot of money to lose, and I'm a DJ, so this is thousands of conversions from my vinyl collection and stuff purchased and ripped from CD.
I see many methods of getting rid of duplicates but no definitive answer for someone in my position.

Thank you for your replies. I tried the blade tool followed by select and delete but it did not seem very precise. I had better success with this aproach at the ends rather than in the middle. I watched a tutorial video on using the precision editor, but the video was small so I had a difficult time following where the person clicked, etc. Any info on using the precision editor would be greatly appreciated. I need to make precise cuts to avoid creating unatural motion for the subject. So far, close but no cigar.

During CS4 installation, I had some serial number issues with Acrobat. It turns out that even though Acrobat is part of the creative suite, the licensing for it is different. I've got all of that sorted out now and CS4 is successfully installed. Now I need to remove CS3, but I don't want to remove any shared components that would disable or affect Acrobat.
Should I just remove the CS3 folders in my Applications folder or should I use the CS3 Uninstaller?

I would try a levels adjustment layer and move the sliders on either side inward until the texture vanishes. I recall using that technique on a newspaper cartoon.
You can delete that adjustment layer if the results are not what you want. It won't destroy your photo.
There are other techniques out there as well.

The 5 books left are ones I decided to keep as seen in the following picture.

You can only remove them when you hit 5 authorized. Normally you go to Store>Deauthorize this computer.
Without computer you go to itunes program>itunes store>Account on right>Deauthorize all. Will have to hit 5 to have the option though.

"After you convert a basic disk to a dynamic disk, you cannot change the dynamic volumes back to partitions. Instead, you must delete all dynamic volumes on the disk and then use the
Convert To Basic Disk command. If you want to keep your data, you must first back it up or move it to another volume. "

You can try to backup the dynamic volume via Windows Server Backup then restore it to a new basic VHD file ( the space is recommended to be larger than or equal to the old one ) .

Could you be a little more descriptive, does this happen with all DVDs? Please describe the type of DVDs you are attempting to use, commercial movies, blank DVDs, etc...
