  • How do I reset Business Catalyst log-on after redirecting website to Google Sites?

I am trying to log into my Business Catalyst account after moving my website to google sites - the BC login tries to go to the new website instead of logging into a business Catalyst dashboard.
All I want to do is to make sure the Business Catalyst account is closed and files are deleted - but can't get to it.

Is the user logging out or is the internet disconnecting after 15 minutes?
If the user is logging out go to System Preferences > Security and there is an option to log-out after a specified time period inactive, uncheck that box.

  • How to upload a document from Pages to a website in Google chrome?

I wish to upload a document from Pages to a website in Google chrome via the "choose File" button on the site. The problem is I online get the options of my Photo library. Is this even possible and if so can anyone help me?

The only browser I know of that will accomodate document uploading is iCab Mobile (could be others in the app store I am unaware of). iCab contains its own document repositor (Downloads).

It's probably the MacDefender scareware trojan horse. If you have this here is how to remove it.
    1. Open Activity Monitor look for MacDefender process double click on it and hit quit or force quit.
    2. Go to System Preferences, Go to accounts, Go to login items look for anything related to MacDefender hightlight it by clcking on it once. Then hit the minus sign to remove it.
    3. Go to applications folder and drag MacDefender to the trash.
    4. Open finder and do a search for Macdefender and remove anything you see related to MacDefender.
    5. Open Spotlight (the little magnyfing glass in the menubar far right corner) and do a search for MacDefender.
    6. Restart your computer and empty trash.
    7. If you feel you need to have virus protection for your Mac use ClamXav. It's the recommended AV program for MacOSX. Hope this helps.

    Hello Steven.
There have been similar reports, yes. You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes this article] for information about troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins the same way.
If you want support for one of your add-ons, you'll need to contact its author.

  • Safari can't verify website certificates: constant pop-ups

Suddenly, every web page/url I try to navigate to gets me a drop-down warning that states "Safari can't verify ..." etc.  Often, these warning relate to websites or addresses unrelated to my attempt.  (E.G., I tried to get to my google calendar", but got a warning asking if I still wanted to connect to a youtube site.)  This just started happening and is now constant.  Any ideas?

Back up all data. Quit the App Store application if it’s running. Test after each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
    Step 1
Triple-click the line below to select it:
    /Library/Updates
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
    Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu. A Finder window should open with a folder selected. Move the contents of the selected folder to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator password.
    Step 2
Do as in Step 1 with this line:
    /Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
If there's no change, quit the App Store and restore the file you moved from your backup, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Otherwise, recreate your settings in the Software Update preference pane.
    Step 3
Hold down the option key and select
    Go ▹ Library
from the Finder menu bar. Move the following items from the Library folder to the Trash (some may not exist):
    Caches/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate
    Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
    Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.*.plist
    Saved Application State/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.savedState
Here, "*" stand for a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes.
    Step 4
If you still have problems, quit the App Store again.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below to select it:
    rm -fr $TMPDIR../C/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C).
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal.

  • How do you get your adobe muse website on Google?

I have a pretty simple website, and im using google webmaster and they gave me this code to verify that this is my website, and they tell me to upload it to my website?  how do I do that?

goatciwood i apologize for the confusion, unfortunately for us not all of us are programmers, here are instructions that will fix the problem without having to go though a million threads
    In Google Webmaster Tools
If you are using Muse you will need to use the "Alternate Method" for verification from Google. The recommended method will not work.
After clicking on the "alternate method" tab you will see different options including an HTML tag
The code will be automatically generated, it will be the first box on the page and it will look something like this: <meta name="google-site-verification" content="3JONb6ChqTOF05dkPHcMhZwluiAYyT373rTmssvrH_E" />
                        Copy that code exactly
    Open muse
right click on your home page in the pages view (where you can see all the page's in layout view)
              open the "page properties" option
click on the the metadata tab (the middle tab in the window)
go to the bottom of the window under "HTML <head>:"
paste the code you received for the HTML tag so it looks exactly the same as provided by Google. Nothing else should be in this box besides the Google code
                                  save and publish the site
    In Google Webmaster Tools
click on the red "verify" box at the bottom of the "Alternate Method" tab
Do not delete the HTML head even after it has been verified
These are the exact steps you need to follow for site verification through Muse. I am not sure why the support staff can't just spell this stuff out clearly in a step-wise fashion.

  • How to get a top name for your iweb website on google?

    Hey everyone
I've started a website on iweb. I was wondering how to get it so my website will have a good search result, first page, on google. I know my question isn't that descriptive but any help would help.
    Thanks

For example, if your site had a title of "three twee kings", when it finally showed up on Google, it would be number one since there's currently not an entry for that. For other more common phrases, your site has to be where Google would think users searching on those terms would be most likely tending to go.
For me, if you do a search for keynote 3 symbols, my site is the site Google figures most users would be looking for when searching on those terms. (Incidentally, just typing Mr. Shmallow gives you one of my pages on the first page, just a couple under homestarrunner's

YIKES!  The code in your live website is a total mess.  You've got <styles> and <scripts> where the doctype <html> and <head> tags should be. There is NO Page Title.  You've got malformed tags everywhere.   Delete the code from your index page and replace it with this valid code.  Use this as a model for your other site pages.

  • IOS7 causing website using Google Maps API to crash

Browsing websites that use the Google Maps API cause the browser to crash since upgrading to IOS7. This wasn't the case with IOS5 or 6. This is a known issue on the Google Code forums to do with the way IOS7 handles memory usage. (https://code.google.com/p/gmaps-api-issues/issues/detail?id=5815). Apple devices running IOS7 are the only devices that seem to be affected. Does anyone know if Apple plans to resolve this in a future software release?

Your only evidence for this "known issue" is a Stackoverflow thread where the issue is claimed to be fixed.

  • Linking my public website with google +

    Hi,
I have a public facing website () and I would like to link it to my Google+ account. when i enter the link on G+ it asks me too add this bit of code to my homepage. I add it in a HTML module, and save the site so it's live.
then I test the website, but G+ can't see it! Any suggestions on how to overcome this. Once the sites linked, google should bump up the website in it's search field.
    Thanks,
    Charlie.

  • MAC OS X 10.6.8 (safari can not verify website)

    Hi
For past few days i am having problem when i try to visit any website it show a massage "safari can not identify the address of the website www..... then below he message is "The certficate of this website is invalid". this message is coming up on all the website
    thank you for your help

Running the combo updater should fix this for you. It should update the certificate that is out of date that is at the root cause of the problem.
You posted in the Snow Leopard forum so here is the link for Snow Leopard combo. Check under the Apple in the Menu bar > About this Mac to verify you are on 10.6
    Combo updater: Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update v.1.1 - 1.09 GB
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399
If you still see the error after running the combo updater, open Keychain Access in Applications/Utilities.
Under Keychain Access in the Menu bar select run Keychain First Aid (see FIX for: "Safari can't verify the identity of the website" - certificate not valid for more details on running Keychain First Aid to repair certificates)
