Verifying ipad restore with apple takes too long

I did all the steps as guided to restore my Ipad the 3rd. However, it seems to get stuck with the message "verifying ipad restore with Apple". How can I restore?

Not sure if you are using iTunes or not. However, detach iPad if connected to iTunes, go to Settings, Reset (scroll to the bottom), Erase all Contents and Settings .... and start again!
If you cannot get out of the current screen o do the above then do a Reset first [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!

I have tried to restore my ipad gen 1. When it gets to the Verigying ipad restore with Apple" it seems to hang then returns the error 1602. I have the black screen on my ipad so cannot get to the shut down bar. The ipad has not been tampered with or jail broken. it suddenly would only show the apple symbol for 5 or so seconds then go to a blank screen and then 30 or so seconds later show the apple symbol again. This only happens when plugged into its factory charger.

Stuck on 'Verifying iPhone restore with Apple' Its been doing this for well over an hour now with the black and white bar moving underneath.. also it shows the picture on my iPhone that i need to plug it into iTunes.. with every now and then a refresh with the Apple logo... please help!

I've got an original iPhone running 3.1.3 and my symptom has been that when the phone is plugged in, I see the phone in the menu, and I get the message "Verifying iPhone..." for 15 seconds or so, then the phone displays "Sync in Progress" but iTunes drops the phone from the menu and shows no sync activity. The phone continues to say "Sync in Progress" but there is no sync happening. [I've ordered a 4S but I don't want to be unable to sync this old device!!]
PS I kept trying a number of times - the phone is visible, then it disappears - I'm not sure this was the key, but when I switched my phone from being plugged into a usb hub, and plugged it in directly, it finally stayed connected, backedup, and seems to have synced correctly.

Why does the sync process take so long? I have a large address book and a few gigs of media, but the sync process sometimes takes almost 20 minutes! It's ridiculous. Any advice.

I'm using the new USB cable that came with my iPhone that I bought yesterday. Not sure if it's USB 2.0.
My iPod from a few years ago uses a Firewire cable.
My music is on an external LaCie hard drive.
The transfer rate of songs from my external to my iPhone is about a minute per song. However, the transfer rate of songs from my external to my iPod is about 5 seconds per song.
I just think that's a dramatic difference in time but am wondering if that's expected behavior or if there might be something wrong with my iPhone.

Tried to restore and update iPhone 3GS, has been in the "verifying restore with apple" stage for an hour. what should i doo?

okay, so lately my iPhone 3GS has been telling me i have no service what so ever for the past two days. But today when i was on the bus going home from school, i had perfect service and everything until i got close to my house (to clarify, i live somewhat far out from the center of town, and my school is right in the middle of town.. didnt know if that would affect anything). So then i asked my Dad about it and he reccomended restoring and updating my phone to see if it helped because im a couple updates behind. So i plugged it in, backed it up, and began to restore and update it. All was well until it got to the "verifying the restore with apple" stage. I was watching the rose bowl and not paying attention while it was on, but remembered that it started that stage at the beginning of the game. Now the game just ended 5 or 10 minutes ago and lasted a goood hour, hour an a half, and its still verifying!! i dont know what to do... HELP!

Same thing happened here ~ tech guy at a local authorized Apple repair store said it had something to do with improper backup from which the restore would be made. Still have a phone that asks to be connected to Itunes but won't do anything else . . . frustrated.

There is no other way except to restore the iPad - plain and simple. You have to restore the device within iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.
You will need to use recovery mode

Ipad 4th gen retina display takes too long downloading apps

I have a Ipad 4th Gen ios 6.1.3. When i tap the app store icon it takes too long to show the info. The same occurs when i itry to install some apps. Comparing with a Asus Memo Pad 10 is slower what does not have to be. My network runs till 200mbps and the ipad has full power and full wi-fi connection.
Is there a problem of comfiguration or other?.

Have you tried this:
1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.

HT4352 apple tv takes too long to load photos

I am running iTunes (11.1.5.5) on Windows 7 and have setup home sharing and accessing the Photo Library from Apple TV 3rd Generation.
We have a lots of photos (approx 21000) organizaed in folders, eg:
Main Photo Folder
Folder 1 (5500 photos)
F1-Sub 1
F1-Sub 2
F1-Sub 3
Folder 2 (3500 photos)
F1-Sub 1
F1-Sub 2
F1-Sub 3
Folder 3 (12000 photos)
F1-Sub 1
F1-Sub 2
F1-Sub 3
Apple TV doesn't show the sub-folders beyond the first set of folders and as a result it takes too long to load our list of photos, is there anything that can be done to fix this?

I am having exactly the same issue. Moved house and now starting a movie takes minutes, not seconds... I've got both the Mac and ATV connected via ethernet to my Airport Extreme base station, but have no explanation for this bizarre slowdown. Typically issues like this are related to the local network. First thing would be to try ethernet, if on wifi. Make sure router is up to date. Reboot ATV, router.
You can go to istumbler (Mac) or netstumbler (PC) to get a report of the network.

I'm having the same problem. I got error message 21. I went to apple store. they are saying i have a hardware error. Really, my phone was working before the update. Asked me for $150 to get another one when I am due to get a new one and wanted to pass this one on to my child.

AME CS6 rendering with AE and Pr takes too long

Hi Guys,
Need some help here. i have rendered a 30 secs mp4 video with 1920 x 1080 HD format 25 frames w/o scripting in AME for 4 hours!
Why does it take too long? I have rendered a 2 minute video with same format w/ scripting but only spare less than 30 minutes for rendering.
Im using After Effects and Premium Pro both CS6 and using Dynamic Link in AME.
What seems to be wrong in my current settings?
Any help would be appreciated.

This may be a waste of time, but it won't take a minute and is something you should always do whenever things go strangely wrong ............ trash the preferences, assuming you haven't done it already.
Many weird things happen as a result of corrupt preferences which can create a vast range of different symptoms, so whenever FCP X stops working properly in any way, trashing the preferences should be the first thing you do using this free app.

Shut down FCP X, open PreferenceManager and in the window that appears:-
1. Ensure that only FCP X is selected.
2. Click Trash
The job is done instantly and you can re-open FCP X.
There is absolutely no danger in trashing preferences and you can do it as often as you like.
The preferences are kept separately from FCP X and if there aren't any when FCP X opens it automatically creates new ones . . . instantly.
