We would like to have all our music, photos, etc. on the iPad - is it best to create a new combined Apple ID for the iPad and simply upload our music, photos, etc. via our laptop instead? If you do not want to download multiple times, just copy the Applications -> Install Lion app to a safe place BEFORE you do the first install. Then copy that copy to any Mac you own where you want to install Lion. -

Why did I pay $19 for Start Trek Into Darkness pre-order, if Apple KNEW they were going to release a bundle on the release date and I could have got the other Star Trek movie for just $5 more? What the heck Apple, I feel completely ripped off.
I didn't even have time to cancel the preorder as that processed a couple minutes before the bundle was posted.

When are Verizon and Samsung going to be releasing Lollipop (Android 5.0) for the S5?
I am anxiously waiting. I've been reading for the past few weeks that S5 owners in other parts of the world (Poland, the UK, etc.) have been updated to Android OS 5.0 (Lollipop). When will Verizon and Samsung be making this available in the US?
In the USA, Lollipop is the slowest release ever. I was reading a major android forum about it. They said its because of all the issues with some of the firmware vs software and carrier added software that they are testing testing testing. With all the issues that hapopened to motorola droids on the move to kitkat, you could see why Verizon is going slower this time to roll out lollipop to devices that came out awhile before Lollipop. I personally would rather wait and have my phone keep working than to add Lollipop and have the thing brick on me or have all sorts of errors......

After the recent update, I went into update IPAD and all of my movies were gone. Which this is set up for my daughter was a bummer. All of her kid moveies were gone. When I plugged it in for an update that is all I did. I didnt change anything.
When I plugged my phone in to update it all of my playlists were gone and so were the few movies I had on there.
Today I turned on the Apple TV so my daughter could watch a movie and it is still downloading and I have 15 hours before I can watch it. What is going on?
The main itunes account no longer has any of my playlists and I am concerned I lost some music. All of my self downloads seem to be gone, playlists gone.

If iTunes did not have anything in it after the update, there is a way to go back to what it was before. The steps are located in the article below.

This morning Firefox was working fine. Then it suddenly reconfigured itself. The File, Edit, History bar went away, as did the bar that tells me what web site I am on, and the next bar that allows me to manually enter a URL and to search via google or Yahoo, ect.
At startup the browser sends me to Bing, and it keeps trying to activate applications I have not asked for.
What happened and how do I fix it?* In Firefox 3.6 versions on Windows and Firefox 4 on Windows and Linux it's possible to hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu of a toolbar.
* Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
* Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

Log Message:I finally found how to set a default skin to a custom component so that users of my component will not have to set again the skinClass value of my component.
You have to create a defaults.css file at the root of your library and tell the compiler to take it into account.
The remaining problem is about the compiler. There are some steps before success and they are a bit mysterious/unclear....
I found 2 or 3 blog articles explaining those steps but the compiler arguments to use are all differents in each article...

I had the same problem after updating to iOS 5.1. I was never able to fix it. I did however find a work around and that was to delete the offending Wi-Fi configuration and then under "Other" manually add back my Wi-Fi connection. This solved the auto re-connect problem. I don't think this is a fix but a pretty darn good work-around.
I talked to Apple about this problem while arranging for a replacement phone (for another problem) and the Technician seemed to be aware of this quirk and suggested that my fix was about the best I could expect.
HOWEVER - when I received my replacement phone not only did the problem that I exchanged the phone for now function correctly but the "Auto-reconnect" of the Wi-Fi worked as expected and as it did prior to the iOS 5.1 update.
