Verizon changed my install date, didn't show/call, and now won't give me original slot - help?

Hi guys - looking for some advice on who to speak to in order to solve my problems.
I moved to a new apartment yesterday and had a Fios installation scheduled for Monday morning. I preferred the weekend, since Monday morning causes me to miss work.
This morning, I called Verizon to see if there were any cancellations today - they told me yes! And they could install between 1pm and 4pm today.
I reschedule all my plans today to make sure I'm home during those hours, and let my boss know that I'll be into work at a normal time tomorrow. 4pm passes by, and no sign of Verizon. I call up the support number, ask them what is happening, and they said that they won't be able to install my services today. If I didn't call them, I apparently would've just continued to wait - no email, no call, no notification at all that my appointment had been canceled or no reason. It seems ridiculous that my installation would be canceled when they scheduled it for me only a few hours earlier.
Then, to make it worse, they will no longer give me back by Monday morning appointment. So they rescheduled me, didn't show (and didn't tell me they weren't showing until I called them), and give away my original appointment and now I won't be able to have internet this week.
I've never been a Verizon customer before, and despite my best efforts to become one, it seems like they are doing quite a lot to ensure that I don't. I've never experienced such awful service before.
Is there a particular department I can lodge a complaint to? Or even to get an explanation of why any of this happened? I'm just so incredibly frustrated right now and I feel entirely helpless, because no one I talk to has answers for anything whatsoever.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

Apps didn't fully download and now won't open or continue downloading.

I tried to update a couple of apps on my iPhone 4s and didn't have enough internet so it paused. Now I can't open the two apps (Istagram and TED) and when I try to continue downloading it says it's unable to. If I delete and reinstall the app I'll also be deleting the data, and for Instagram that's not something I really want to do. Troubleshooting advice? How do I restart an app??

Thanks for replying! All of the other apps that needed updating updated, but Instagram and TED stayed greyed out and didnt update. When I tap it it says "Unable to Download Application: "Instagram" could not be downloaded at this time. :-(
When I look in the App Store--Updates is says INSTALLING and it's also greyed out and I can't select anything.

InDesign won't install (jammed at 42%) and now won't uninstall (errors), can anyone help?

I installed InDesign trial and Adobe CC -
ID jammed at 42% so assuming there was a problem
Uninstalled CC and attempted to uninstall ID, which it said completed with 'errors'
When I retried installing ID after reinstalling CC it still jammed at 42%, assuming that I haven't removed all the software off
Adobe InDesign is still marked in my programs, and when I try to uninstall it again this message appears:
'Uninstall Failed. Your uninstallation encountered errors'
I've run the Cleaner Tool & the error message in the .log file is this:
DB does not exist at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\caps\caps.db
Sorry for the long explanation, but if anyone could help me I'd be so greatful!

Given the state your device is in you have already erased your old stuff. You have an image on the screen that says, "Connect to iTunes." That's what the image means. So you will need iTunes on your computer.

If you got it from http://clea.nr/install/ then if it's not shown in Safari - Preferences - Extensions, it isn't installed.
If you obtained it elsewhere, please link to it, or add a screenshot/description showing how it affects Safari.

Lord K. Thank you. Yes I am within the 90 time period, however I travel Intertionally and I can not receive not make a call to Apple. I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. We are talking thousands of pages! I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried. I installed a new version of iTunes and now it doesn't recognize my phone. The phone software is up to date and working normally, but I would like to sync my phone and can't. Every time I plug my phone into the computer, which worked fine before the new iTunes software, my phone asks me "Do you trust this computer?" I have restarted my computer, and that didn't help. Also my computer will not recognize my phone, to download pics, after I've activated iTunes.

initialy All I was trying to do was downgrade 10.7 to 10.6 .

You have to consider the possibility the hard drive may be dying. If your data isn't backed up, try one of the tools below:

I installed iTunes 10.5.3.3 and now my DVD player won't work and has this error:

Any ideas why iTunes renders my DVD drive unusable? I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and when reinstalling I had my device manager open and saw during the installation how my DVD player went from accessible to not being able to start.
Why is this happening?

There's a few different possibilities with a code 10, Kelly. To narrow in on the likeliest culprits it would help to have a closer look at your system.
Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.
