Verizon competition for Sprint's iPhone marketing plan?

Has anyone seen anything a Verizon plan that looks like it comes anywhere close to Sprint's "iPhone for life" + Simply Unlimited Plan?
Granted, "iPhone for Life" is basically the same thing as Verizon's "Edge" leasing option, but the ability to combine it with a $50 Unlimited Talk/Text/Data plan is pretty attractive.
I just re-upped with Verizon back in back in April, and picked up the HTC One M8. I like the phone, and I prefer Verizon's network (I'm military, and move around a bit). But I cracked my phone's screen for the first time EVER a few days ago, and I'm about a week and a half outside of the 6-month time frame for HTC's Advantage one-time free screen replacement. So I'm looking at a $200 repair and I'm thinking, why not just switch to Sprint on the iPhone for Life and Simply Unlimited plan, avoid that $200 cost, get a brand-new phone, and actually end up paying less per month ($70/month for Sprint iPhone vs. $75/month currently with Verizon) for a service plan that includes unlimited data? Especially when Sprint will cover ETFs?
The Verizon network is better, but unlimited data, a new phone, and not paying for a $200 screen repair combine to make a pretty hefty carrot.

Agree, wholeheartedly. And for the record, I don't think the iPhone 6 looks better than the M8. Although I do like the smaller size a bit. I feel like a 4.5-4.7 inch screen is perfect for phone-sizing. Like my old verizon HTC Rezound, which I absolutely loved.

Some of the examples, that you can use for naming coventions are:
Marketing Plan Naming Convention: <Plan>/<YYYY><XXXXX>
for ex. P/2007-XXXXX
Campaign Naming Convention: <C> <YYYY><MM><Region><Campaign Name>
for ex. C/2007-07-.APAC-SOWQ1
You can also incorporate the Formatting Mask for Marketing Projects in the following SPRO menu:
IMG-> Customer Relationship Management->Marketing->Marketing Planning and Campaign Management->System Landscape->Define Formatting Mask for Marketing Projects.

Additionally, I was not aware Verizon was in the business of giving away "free service"(s)?????? Purchasing a "free" or "reduced price" phone IS NOT a free service. You sign a contract in exchange for receiving that benefit. There is an upgrade fee along with that service you are contracted to complete or you will be charged an early termination fee(ETF), so this IS NOT a free service.
Yes, you have a choice to go with another provider which ALSO charges an upgrade fee OR charges you full retail value for your phone. So much for a "free upgrade" there.
AT&T = upgrade fee
Sprint = upgrade fee
T-Mobile = no upgrade fee but must pay full retail cost for the phone
For what it is worth, you would not have had to pay an upgrade fee had you simply paid full retail cost for your phone OR purchased it with Edge at full retail cost. Depending on your calling plan and data allowance, you may have even ended up paying less for your phone had you done so. That is why a little research before you make a purchase can go a long way.
I know it is cheaper for me to pay full retail for a phone than to purchase a discounted device in exchange for signing a contract.

Can you get an iphone 5 at target that uses AT&T or Verizon network and use the Straight Talk plan from Walmart? I don't have AT&T or Verizon network and I don't want to get them but I was just wondering if you can get the iphone 5 that is at target and use it for the straight talk plan. I will be getting the straight talk plan but I would like to do some research on the iphone 5 first for straight talk. At walmart the phone is $544.99 and I think it will be a lot cheaper to buy it at target.

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? I'm wondering if restarting the computer might help but have been afraid to do so in case it would make it harder to recover anything...I was looking at this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4211589?start=0&tstart=0 in the hopes that it might have a helpful suggestion but it's definitely a different scenario.

Apple recent stated they will no longer offer any support for the iPhone 4, no more updates, apps will stop working with the advancement of software updates. over all by the end of the year the phone will be almost completely phased out. Does Verizon have any type of plan for their current iphone 4 device users?

Verizon has nothing to do with Apple updates.
It is much like Microsoft who phased out support updates to Win 31, Windows 95,98,ME and now Windows XP.

If you are wanting to use the Verizon iPad as the hotspot you will need a Verizon plan.
If you are going to connect your Verizon iPad to your iPhone AT&T hotspot via WiFi it makes no difference at all.

AT&T and europe all use GSM . There is no CDMA in Europe
A genuine unlocked iPhone 4/4S from Europe will work fine
A similar unlocked iP5 will work on 3G but NOT on 4G as the
European iP5 does not have the 4G bands suitable for use in US

Well, of course this new iPhone will not recognise an AT&T sim card in it - you purchased a Sprint phone which is a CDMA carrier and AT&T is a GSM carrier, so no, you CANNOT use a Sprint phone in the US with AT&T. The 2 are not compatible and if you had wanted to use AT&T as your carrier, then you should have purchased an unlocked GSM phone and NOT a CDMA phone, which Sprint is.
Yes, the phone is unlocked, but it is the GSM portion and sim card tray that is unlocked for international use, so yes, you should be able to use the phone in China with a local Chinese sim card.
You can use the phone in China, but you will NOT be able to use s Spring CDMA phone in the USA with AT&T because they are a GSM carrier, so that is why an AT&T sim card is not recognised in a Sprint phone because the 2 are not compatible.
Perhaps you should have checked more closely when you were buying the phone that you were in fact purchasing the correct model? Verizon and Sprint are both CDMA carriers, with AT&T and T-Mobile being GSM carrier. Check before you buy next time so that you make sure that you buy the right phone.

No, that would not work.
Verizon would not accept an Apple iTunes Gift Card for payment on your data plan and Apple would not accept a Verizon Gift Card for payment in the App Store or iTunes.
They are two different vendors that only accept their own gift cards in their own stores.

Yes, Airport Express Base Station connected to your Mac by ethernet will work as a bridge. Or you can connect the AE directly to your router/modem by ethernet if it's a non-wi-fi router and it will act as a relay for that.

thanks, a HUGE suggestion for you: Please add that to the restrictions of the trade-in details online, it mentions that nowhere and is VERY deceptive. Since at least 90% of 5c and 5s users are under a 2 year contract and both phones have been out just a year, there will be a majority of bitter customers who fell for the ad and will be taking advantage of the buy out options the other carriers are offering.

we have a requirement to add additional fields to BADI for Marketing Planning, where do we configure that and how do we add code associated to it and preferably where do we do the validation for the same.

The custom fields in marketing palanner will be an attribute. To add a new field in Marketing planner screen you need to create attributes for a set types. This is done with the transaction COMM_ATTRSET.
The validations can be done in the BADI. In SAP IMG, Under Marketing planning and campaign management, BADI's are aviailable. Create a new implementation. (Option : BADI Additonal checking and controlloing options). Include the validations in CHECK_ATTRIBUTE method.
Data can be accessed using the ELEMENT_READ method on object CL_CRM_MKTPL_APPL_BASE Find values in the return table EX_ATTRIBUTES.
Use tables CGPL_TASK , CGPL_PROJECT,CGPL_HEIRARCHY to collect the Mkt fields wherever required.
Set type values can accessed by the ELEMENT_READ method on object CL_CRM_MKTPL_APPL_BASE and finding a value in the return table ET_SETTYPE_VALUES
Note: You need to be careful in adding the attributes.

Workflow for marketing plan approval

I haven't used this particular workflow but hopefully the following is of use:
- Email to initiator- the likely explanation is that the workflow has not identifed the recipient's email address. Follow steps 4 & 5 from the Blog and this should resolve the issue.
- Cancelled Event - The wait step listens out for the triggering of the corresponding event on the BOR object.
i.e. for this workflow wait step 164 is listening out for CANCELLED to be raised on that particular instance of BUS2010020.
If this is triggered that branch of the fork will be triggered.
- Locked/Rejected - There is no step (that I can see) that notifies the initiator that the campaign has been locked.
However you can add your own Send Mail step(s). An alternative approach would be to have additional branches that listen for the BUS2010020.locked and the rejected events and then have your Send Mail steps, however this is probably overcomplicating the solution.
- Schedule condition and start condition - Again I haven't used campaigns yet but in the Blog they are using the Marketing Project Campaign BOR Object status profile and status table - look at object BUS2010020 in SWO1.
