Verizon htc 8x with ntt docomo sim

I am using htc 8x by sim of ntt docomo.
I can perform dispatch and arrival of a telephone normally.
If the web page is seen by Internet Explorer,
I am no longer displayed suddenly.
I can display, if a power supply is reswitched on.
Those who are using the employee limited model of verizon by sim of ntt docomo,
It is said that I could use it normally when renewal of a telephone was performed the other day.
Is there any update which corrects this fault?

    @alphonsezero,
I definitely want you to be able to use your phone properly and I'm here to help.
However, I'm not sure what your question or concern is. Please clarify so I can further assist. Are you having issues with the Internet on the phone?

  • Would the Unlocked Verizon HTC One M8 work with GSM Bands globally/?

If i buy a HTC One M8 phone and then pay all the installments and finally get the unlocking code. One phone is unlocked, then is is possible that CDMA Sim Card of Verizon be replaced with a SIM card of any GSM operator globally

as of last year all Verizon phones are unlocked of course if they were manufactured  starting last year. the HTC one m8 is sold unlocked however it may not work on all LTE bands Verizon operates on 1700F and 700C

I have an ipad2 with wifi and 3G.  My wife and I are traveling in France (Nice) then into Italy.  We are unable to purchase a data plan because our Verizon IPad will not accept a sim chip...we are told.  An Apple store employee here said this model is good only in the US. The iPads here take a sim card. We were advised by an Apple Store Employee at home that this model would work in Europe and that we could buy our service here.  That does not seem to be the case.    We have been told that we must invest in a modem at 200.00€ and then purchase a separate service plan for each country. We can use the free wifi wherever it is available but we cannot connect to the outside world when out of range. Is there anything else we can do?
    Thanks, John

Unfortunately, no other solution is available.
    Hope this helps

  • Can I use a Verizon iPhone 5S with a Japanese au SIM?

I was wondering if anyone knows if I can use a Verizon iPhone 5S on Japan's au with an au SIM card???
(Verizon iPhone 5S comes factory unlocked and freely accepts GSM nano SIMs from other US carriers. This question is specifically for people with firsthand knowledge of American phones working on Japanese networks with Japanese SIM cards.)
I'll be living in Japan for just 7 more months, so it doesn't make sense to buy an impossible-to-unlock Japanese iPhone now. I'll be back on Verizon when I move back to the States, so if I can use an American Verizon phone on au, I would love to buy one right now while I'm home in Hawaii for the holidays.

You can't. Doing so is not supported.

  • Can I use the Galaxy in Germany if it's "unlocked" with a local SIM (for local rates)?

Can I use this phone in Germany with a *local* SIM card for local rates if I get Verizon to unlock it or do I have to wait for the ever-elusive upgrade for this to be possible?
I have been with Verizon since 2006, my original HTC Incredible has been eligible for an upgrade since April, and I was planning to stay with Verizon since I'm overall happy with the service. However, this uncertainty about being able to use the phone globally (and specifically in Germany) with local SIM cards has me considering other carriers for the first time, who have not crippled their phones in this way. In particular AT&T I guess. I don't understand why Verizon would choose to limit their phone like this.
I would like to stay with Verizon, but I'm not going to wait indefinitely for a required update -- unless someone authoritative can tell me that I am able to use this phone with a local SIM card with local rates in German right now. That would make me very happy   .. otherwise, I guess it's time to check out the Galaxy on the other carriers.
ps: I have searched the web, and this forum for related posting w/o the answer for this specific question about unlock helping with Germany.

Hmm .. thanks for the info, I was afraid of that .. I'v really been wanting to upgrade my phone for a few months now ... and the S III seems like the best phone right now, but not without that feature. I would rather stick with Verizon though but I am looking at the other carriers because of this.
Also just found out that FM radio isn't available on the North American versions of the phone .. too bad, my DInc has it, and it helps limit data usage (and presumably uses less power than streaming, plus not all stations stream). It's not a required feature for me, but it was a nice option to have..

  • Samsung S4 Will not work with ANGOLA (UNITEL) SIM Card

I have a Verizon Galaxy S4 that I cannot get to work with a local SIM card in ANGOLA. I was told my phone would work with an overseas sim card.  I need HELP.   My phone will not use an ANGOLA UNITEL sim card for data.  I believe my phone is still locked.  What can be done???   HELP

APN is what has to be changed.  APN stands for Access Point Name.
If you search for Angola UNITEL APN you will find several sites on line with the correct information you need to enter.
You enter the details under more networks in the settings menu, just keep digging until you find APN.
You do not need a rooted phone and all global phones are already unlocked.
It is very easy to do and should not have been difficult but it was.  Now that I know how, I hope others with similar problems will find this posting

  • I need to know if I buy an iPhone 5 or 5c in the US whether it will work in the UK with a PAYG sim

I am currently living in the USA but will be moving back to the UK next year. I am not familiar with US phones or network providers. I have done a little research re CDMA / GSM  / frequencies etc but am just confused!!!
I would like to buy my daughter an iPhone but would like her to be able to use it when we visit the UK on vacation or when we move back. Ideally I do not want to be tied to a contract here and would prefer PAYG but if thats not an option would possibly consider it.
Is this going to be possible?
If so What do I need to be looking out for?
In the UK it is quite simple...I would just buy an unlocked phone or have one of the UK carriers unlock it for me and then just use overseas with a PAYG sim but are the phones here sim free?
    Please help.
    Many thanks
    Jo

The answer is complicated. None of the major carriers offer PAYG service in the US, but if you buy a contract-free phone for full price you can get a plan that can be canceled at any time from any of the major carriers (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile). There are smaller resellers that offer PAYG service (StraightTalk, for example), but they are hard to deal with.
The most liberal is the GSM carrier T-Mobile. They have "unbundled" the phone from the service, so if you bring your own phone or pay full price for a phone the monthly cost will be lower.
The other 3 will charge you the same monthly cost whether you pay full price for the phone or get a subsidized phone.
Verizon iPhone 5 series phones are unlocked out of the box for international use (thanks to a condition the FCC imposed on Verizon when they were allowed to buy a substantial chunk of spectrum). They are the only phones sold in the US that will work on LTE bands in the UK and Europe.
Sprint is not a good choice, because they give you a hard time if you want to unlock your phone.
AT&T phones are locked, but they will unlock the phone if you pay full price or pay off your early termination fee. However, they will only work on GSM in the UK, not on LTE (4G).

  • If i buy a sim-free iphone 5s in America, can i use it in China with a Chinese sim card?

i've bought a sim-free iphone 5s  in apple store in America but i am worried that i cannot use it with a Chinese sim card. Can someone help me?
    Thank you very much!

The iPhone is sold as "unlocked and contract-free" when purchasing that option from the Apple Store, though Apple's verbiage is using "unlocked" and "SIM-free" rather interchangeably:
The unlocked iPhone includes all the features of iPhone but without a wireless contract commitment. You can activate and use the unlocked iPhone on the supported GSM wireless network of your choice, such as AT&T or T-Mobile in the United States. The unlocked iPhone will not work with CDMA-based carriers, including Sprint and Verizon Wireless.
If you don’t want a multiyear service contract, or if you prefer to use a local carrier when traveling abroad, the unlocked iPhone is the best choice. If you choose T-Mobile, your iPhone comes with a T-Mobile SIM card already installed. You will need to contact T-Mobile or visit an Apple Retail Store to activate your iPhone.
Otherwise, the unlocked iPhone does not come with a micro-SIM card for iPhone 4s, or a nano-SIM card for iPhone 5c or iPhone 5s so you’ll need to get one from any supported GSM carrier worldwide. To start using your iPhone, simply insert the SIM card into the slot and turn on iPhone by pressing and holding the On/Off button for a few seconds. Then follow the onscreen instructions to set up your iPhone.
Purchasing an unlocked iPhone means you will not qualify for the lower iPhone price associated with a contract. The unlocked iPhone 5c model is A1532 (GSM). The unlocked iPhone 5s model is A1533 (GSM).
To help decide whether the locked or unlocked option is right for you, compare wireless service plans. Or call our iPhone Specialists at 1-800-MY-APPLE.
Be aware that if you purchase an iPhone in the US, that will be the only place you will get support from Apple should you need it. You will not get any support for a US-sold iPhone in China.
    Regards.

  • How about we lobby Verizon/HTC for a car dock that can accommodate the extended battery?!

I had picked up my Thunderbolt on release day and a few days later opted to purchase an extended battery (Verizon/HTC brand 2750mAh).  Later in the week, I wanted to purchase the Thunderbolt specific car-dock only to find out that it will only fit the HTC Thunderbolts using the standard battery.  I am not about to swap out my battery every time I get into and out of my vehicle (which is often) and I will not give up the extended battery life.
Hey Verizon?!  Since the stock battery's life is somewhat weak, and so many will end up purchasing an extended battery, how about you re-design a windshield mount, so that those of us with the larger capacity batteries can have a little automotive dock love?!
    Regards,
    Spence

It doesn't need to be a seperate product so much s a re-design of the existing one with a cavity across the back.
ProClipUSA markets phone holders with extended batteries in mind, and they even integrate the magnetic trigger to place the phone into "nav mode".  I guess I stick with the universal mount that I have ordered via eBay until ProClipUSA announces that their product is up for sale.

  • Hey Verizon / HTC / Google  Please fix the caller ID problem, post 2.2 Froyo UPDATE.

Hey Verizon / HTC / Google  Please fix the caller ID problem, post 2.2 Froyo UPDATE.  This is a major Problem.

I have provided some steps below that may help with the Caller Id issue you are experiencing.
Try completing a soft reset on the device. A soft reset would be powering the device off and pulling out the battery. Once the battery is removed, place it back in and power the device back on.
Dial *228 and send. Once dialed, listen for the recording to prompt you for option 1 and select option 1. The phone should complete its programming within a minute.
Ensure you are using the area-code and 7 digit number format (ex. 9999951212)
Try removing the contact and re-adding it.

  • HTC HUB coming soon to Verizon HTC devices!

I recently called Verizon and asked why HTC HUB was not installed on my Verizon HTC device, he said that because it was buggy on Verizon Devices they pulled it, but he also said it was coming soon to our devices, but he couldnt find an official release date, He also said it might be coming in the ICS update for Verizon devices.

if I understand it correctly, the Harmon/Kardon version has the exact same hardware, but the software has a tweaked EQ. In my opinion, it isn't worth considering a separate SKU. If you want an M8, get an M8 now and don't wait for one with gimmicky software tweaks.
