Verizon is spamming my email and wont stop

Ive called, clicked the unsubscribe link in the emails waited the appropritate amount of days and they keep coming. Ive set their emails as spam and it appears all those efforts bring on even more emails than before. Does anyone know how to get Verizon to stop clogging my email with relentless redbox and on demand sales pitches?

You can tell Verizon not to send you most emails in your preferences.

that's like unsubscribing from a spammer site verizon's a spammer too tns personally i filter verizon they have nothing i am interested in.

Is the mobile data connection (with your provider) up and running? Are you able to browse the web using the phone's browser? If no, this is most likely the reason why the issue is happening. Kindly coordinate with your Network Provider to get the correct Internet/APN settings via SMS. Save it on the phone so it will be configured.

Step 2 in this stupidity - the phone keeps trying to send the deleted text via SMS and wont stop notifying me of this. Totally ruining the functionallity of my phone, and more so totally annoying. All I want to do is stop the constant re-trying of sending the deleted SMS.

Hi, many thanks for your help - Pressing and holding sleep/reset hasn't worked, the msg is still continually reporting it is failing to send. I can restore to a previous version however I'll lose my paid apps. Is there any way to work around this. I'm only concerned about one app - Epocam HD which I purchased last month. My last backup on PC is 4 March 13 - before I bought the paid app - Itunes advises me I'll have to re-pay to get my apps (app) back. Even though it advises that icloud backed up this morning at 1:30 am (which although it is before the text, I cannot manually select this restore).

My receive function on the email gets just the first email and then stops, but the wheel keeps turning like it is looking. What can I do to get it functioning again. This program has been steady for several years so something in it is tweaked. Other computers can access the account just fine. If I shut down the mail program and start it up again it will get the same email and then go into the spinning mode again. Is there a file I can delete to reset the account. I have tried to re input the SMTP data but no luck. Any Ideas?

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move this folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...

I'm having the same problem. Since it's the same problem, I thought I'd pigtail on this thread, rather than clutter up the forum with a duplicate. I can start a new thread if this is not appropriate.
I have tried a reset, using the sleep/wake and home buttons, with no success. I have also restored to factory settings, then restored to backup. It's still rebooting itself.
iPad Mini wifi (not Retina). iOS 7.1.1.
This problem started today. I updated to 7.1.1 soon after the update was released.

Mac email account wont stop looking for new mails.

Just recently and out of the bloom my .mac email account started acting up doing two things:
1. It fails to receive some emails (I get some, but other I just don't. It appears to be random). I've had several people tell me they've emailed be but I've have nothing in my inbox, neither on my mac nor on mobileme.
2. The same .mac (just to clarify I have a @mac.com account not @me.com) account does not stop looking for new emails. That little circles that goes around when you hit the get mail button; it wont stop circling.
I've deleted the account from my computer twice and both problems are still occurring.
This started just last week. I've never had any problem before that. I'm not running out of allocated space; I've already checked that.
Please Help. Bothe problems are pretty annoying (specially not getting emails.

Just to clarify the point. You do have a .me account. The .mac is just an alias now for .me
Maybe you should set up the account as [email protected] and see if that improves the reliablity.

After updating to latest firefox computer on internet running slower,taking longer to go to links and sites.also if i click on an email link the link keeps refreshing as mailto and wont stop opening new tabs very quickly,have to shut down to stop it.

You get that problem if you select the Firefox program to handle a file if you get an "open with" dialog.

I had already deleted all reference to the hotmail account in question from the keychain access app, I have also tried to delete and re-instal the account details from within mail. The icon in the side bar dissapears but when I go to Add Account, the old account details are in the new account box. I then input my new password but am told that the server does not recognise it. If I access hotmail via google on the iMac I can get into my account with no problems. I am thinking there must be some other form of security system within the mac software that is blocking the new password. This is driving me nuts. I have been trying to resolve this for the last two days. Thank you for your advise anyway.

If you are a user of Backup Assistant then you can go to My Verizon to verify that your contacts are saved on our website. If not then Gmail is set by default to back up any contacts and calendar entries. Feel free to log in from a computer to verify that this information is archived prior to proceeding.
Once you have completed the factory reset then the device would need to be reactivated and re-setup. I just downloaded my Leopord onto my Macbook and I can't get into my Gmail account. It almost loads all the way and then stops. Also Facebook wont load all the way or keeps reloading and wont stop. The whole page never loads.

Ok, first thing, why are you doing anything with WAMP or XAMPP when you're running a Mac? MAMP should be what you want unless you're not explaining part of what you are trying to do.
2nd thing, I haven't used MAMP in a while, but there are two possibilities for not seeing what you want to see once you have MAMP turned on. One possibility is that you already have "Web Sharing" turned on in your Sharing Preference Pane. If that is the case, port 80 will already be taken and you'll be seeing the default Apache install (files are stored at /Library/WebServer/Documents/). This would push MAMP to either not turn on it's web serving capabilities, or to push it to another port. The other possibility is that MAMP defaults to another port anyway. So instead of localhost, you might have to type in localhost:8080 or something similar. I believe the control panel that gets installed can take you to the currently MAMP-served page, and it can also help you change which port your serving on.
80 is the default port for web serving and the ONLY port that will let you get straight to the server without having to type in webaddress.com:port# instead of just webaddress.com.

HELP- my blackbery wont receive emails and wont let me validate password or email address

Not sure if in the right forum,but having major problems with my blackberry.I had a message to say i needed to validate email address and password which i did and keep doing and it just keeps coming up with invalid email address and password and i dont know why because i havent changed anything.I then thought if i deleted email address etc off phone and try and re add it again it would work but it still doesnt an still says invalidated. i just dont know what to do because that was the main reason to get a blackberry so i could get my emails.im really annoyed this has happened. So if anyone could help or have any ideas id so appreciate it.

Try setting a new password on your email account and then try to re-add it to BIS on your BlackBerry. If that doesn't work, you can add the email via your PC. If you tell us what email service you're using (i.e. Yahoo!, GMail, etc.) and who your wireless service provider is we can give you more information.

My iphone is really hot and wont stop vibrating.

I woke up this morning and my iphone was next to me. I rolled over and it burned me because of how hot it was. I woke up and noticed it was vibrating too. Not short little vibrates but this one long continuous vibration. Also, the screen was black but in the middle were little white lines. I tried cutting the phone off. It didnt work. I tried resetting by holding the power and home button. It didnt work. So I went to the bathroom came back and it was still hot and vibrating. As soon as I picked it up to go ask someone about it, the vibration shut off and it seemed the phone was powered off. So I tried the power button again. No luck. I tried the resetting process. No luck. Someone help me and tell me what should I do? Is there anyway to fix this problem?

More than likely it has quit vibrating because the battery has gone dead. Try charging it for a bit and see if it comes back to life. If it does and it's no longer vibrating try resetting the phone. If that does't help then its likely a hardware problem in which case take it to an authorized Apple repair centre or an Apple store and have it checked out.

Wont get past "configuring updates stage 3 of 3 0%" and wont let me log into computer..HELP!!!

i kept getting a vista spyware alert saying i had 34 infected files and wouldn't stop and i also tried updating some things on my laptop while i updated to the new internet explorer 9. around 12noon today i rebooted my laptop to get all the updates to work and i got this configuring updates screen and was like ok. it kept going. it does it for a while, shuts down and restarts and goes back i didnt think anything was wrong made it to stage 3 and wont stop and move on from 0%. its now 10pm and its been doing it all day. ive tried shutting it down and rebooting myself but no matter what i do, it wont let me access my computer to do anything. i have avast virus protection but it said it was unable to move viruses to chest i pressed repair and it said it was postponed until next reboot so i did it this morning and figured its taking so long maybe because its trying to repair them but im sure it doesnt take 10 hours...im extremely upset. someone please help. and also, anyone know how i can get the viruses out? i dont have money for a better protection right now so im using my moms computer but she works on it so its hard. hp said they cant help because my warrenty is up, was a 1 year warrenty, got laptop in 2008 and warrenty expired in 2009. please help me.

After installing updates from Windows Update, you may get into a Reboot loop where you machines gets to “configuring updates 3 of 3. x% complete” then freezes or reboots.
Solution:
1a. Boot from the Windows System Repair Disc and choose the repair option in the lower left hand corner, choose System Restore, and select a Restore Point predating the attempted installation of the updates.
1b. If you don't have the DVD and the Vista/W7 came preinstalled on the machine, boot to the Recovery Environment using F8 at the HP logo during boot, choose "repair your computer" from the list, let RE load and do a system restore from there.
If restore fails, load the recovery environment command prompt and enter:
Del C:\Windows\winsxs\pending.xml
exit recovery environment and restart the pc, you may get 3 of 3 again but be patient, the desktop should load. Create a manual restore point and Turn off Windows Automatic updates until you can figure out which update caused the loop.
If you get it booting again:
You may be infected
Follow the order given below to disinfect your PC
1.) On a PC that is Not infected, Make a boot AV disc then boot from the disc on the Infected PC and scan the hard drive, remove any infections it finds, I prefer the Kaspersky disc myself. The New 2010 Kaspersky disc can update the AV dat files if you are connected to the internet at the time of scan and is suggested to update before the scan.

2.) Then boot into Windows:
Install free MBAM, run the program and go to the Update tab and update it, then go to the Scanner Tab and do a quick scan, select and remove anything it finds.

These last 2 are not AV softwares like regular Anti Virus Software, they are on demand scanners that only scan for nasties when you run the program and will not interfere with your installed AV, these can be run once a day or week to ensure you are not infected. Be sure you update them before each daily-weekly scan.

Monday November 11,2013-Dear firefox,I have several questions and several complaints also.-) why am I receiving 3 party emails and it states on this download if you don't want them to have a check Mark by this. I have done away with 3 party emails,now I get emails from all sorts of 3party emails in Mine and My dads and family private email inbox and spam, ones we didn't sign up for in our inbox and spam inappropriate emails and all sorts of emails, and also My phine after download,has slowed My internet connection and has caused , My contacts on My phone to light up and blink on and off.-) If this is suppose to be a download for My phone? and email to make it work more accurate and rapid it hasn't mine,I'm not happy with this experience at all on firefox. please email me back to Mine and My dads and familys honestly and truthfully answering abd taken care of this explaining into detail, in mine and My dads and familys private email thanks why were having so many difficulties and please send it to [email address removed for privacy] regarding this.-) I will be emailing through out the week to make sure this is honestly explained ans taken care of in a timely Manner.-) And I will not refer anyone to try Firefox -)
