Sprint, T-mobile, and AT&T have already pushed their update. Verizon continues to have a phone that cannot be used as a phone. When will the update come? Does this mean that Verizon cares the least of all the major carriers and has the worst customer service?

Something has gone wrong. That should have happened almost instantly. Force the phone into recovery mode & restore it:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don't see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.

I just unwrapped my new iMac just being delivered by UPS and after removing all the wrapping I noticed deep scratches on the aluminium front and a big dent on the metal frame surrounding the screen. Obvioulsy it fell in the Apple assembly process or a heavy thing fell on it. IF you bought it from apple, you can bring it back to apple for a full refund or exchange. You can also call apple support to request for a mail-in box so you can return the item. if on the other hand it is an apple authorize reseller, kindly contact them for exchange/refund. They will give you an option on whether they will give you a label to help you send back the item to them or take it to the store.

What are you guys doing about this? At least provide some information on whether you have even taken notice to this problem or not! There won't be a point of a fix once the hard-disk is gone because of all the hard resets.

It's not just HP, but Dell too. Suggest switching the power options settings to "never" and always shutting down Windows before closing the lid. PITA, but avoids all those 'hard stops' doing any damage. I've partly fixed the issue on my machine by updating all the drivers to very latest, shutting down and rebooting, then shutting down, removing the battery pack, holding down the power button for at least 30 seconds, then replacing the battery and booting up as usual. So far, this has fixed the "sleep" problem, but HIbernate is still not working. I've a Dell machine, but a lot of the Hardware is common to the HP laptops - Intel Video etc. Steve

Because the Home Hub kept disconnecting and re-booting I swapped it out in favour of my Netgear DG834G on the 23rd September and it sync'd in at 8728 down and 1022 up, but despite a solid connection since the change BT speedtester is still reporting that the IP profile has not changed from 6000.

I get 1750 as max I ever get. Sometimes go a little higher to 2000 but not often. Its generaly 1500, and loeer if Ive had a good storm. When there is a storm the hub usully resets multiple times and syncs at somethign stupid like 265Down 448K up so I always reset after a storm, usully within 5 days its back at 1500 and with good weather goes up higher. If not I ring up!

I can't remeber my iPod touch 5th generation's pass code. I know the four numbers included, just not the sequence. It disabled yesterday at 6pm, and it's now 11am and still disabled. Also, when I first got my iPod, my friend synced it with her iTunes, so I can't plug it into mine.
I have a lot of pictures and songs that I really don't want to lose, by just restoring it, if I can even do that.
So, my question is either,
1. Up to how many hours can my iPod be disabled for? (The new iOS won't tell us!) And how long will it disabled after each try??
2. Is there any way to get the pass code off my iPod touch without losing all my apps, music, pictures, ect.?

If it says "iPad is disabled" it is never going to time out. At that point, your only option is to restore it in iTunes.
If you have a backup in place now (in iCloud or iTunes) once restored, you can restore from backup, but the only way to un-disable the device is to restore it.
