Verizon's third party application service provider for internationale texts

Hi, I read here that Verizon uses a third party service provider to route international text messages. On that link they say it's a company called Inphomatch, but I found out that Inphomatch merged to another company called Sybase, and on Sybase's website they say Verizon and they are partners. Shoud I think that Sybase is the one that handles international text messages for Verizon now?

Inphomatch handles International Text Messaging for Verizon.

  • E-Recruitment Third Party Internet Service provider

    Hi Experts
I am implementing e-Recruitment 3.0 at one of client site. Here we are looking out for integration with the third party internet service provider i.e. job sites. Wherein we will able to surf and search external job  site for the suitable resume based on the requirement. These requiremnts are defined in e-Recruitment thru Requisition.
Based on the requisition, we will be search the resume and upload the same into e-Recruitment.
In normal e-Recruitment their is no node for integration with the external service provider.
I am not getting the proper trigger to reach the integration part.
Has anybody done this...?? If yes how did you do it..??
    Regards,
    Anand

    hello anand,
let us take this step by steb ok :
    1. in e-rec 3 there is no functionality for integration with 3rd party service provider.
    2. there is a new role for teh above in ERP2005/ecc6...but I think this role is more for a headhunter to supply resumes of candidates online to your organisation
    3. coming to your requirement, if you have enterprise portal I suggest that :
    a. get the external service provider's link on to ure portal content (an MOU kinda doc needs to be signed between the 2 parties)
    b. then the requestor can search cv's based on the requirement (this still does not solve the issue of integration between your requirements-in-requisition and the content of the service provider)here u have to remember that trex is solely for your e-rec instance only and and cannot be used to ''search'' a service providers content unless the content is already in your e-rec system, which can be achieved by point-c below.
c.in e-rec 3, the alternative I have found was modifying the external candidate bsp page to remove all links except the part where ther profile is uploaded, and creating a unique identifier for all such headhunters to identify the resumes from each of them respectively, and allow access to the custom page thru internet. This worked fine for me,... but a lot still depends on ure client's requirements.
hope the above works for you,.. in any case let me know how u solved the situation
    ciao
    ganti.

  • External web service provided by third party application

    Hi all,
Hope to clarify some doubts on usage of Enterprise Service Repository. I understand that ESR is the storage of service interfaces that may be provided or consume by different systems in the landscape.
If a business process is required to consume an external web service that is provided by a third party application on some web server, does the ESR stores the definition of the web service and provides it to the business process?
Is ESR only a repository for service interfaces that would be implemented by the internal systems?
    Regards

I was looking to confirm my understanding about defining external webservices in Enterprise Repository few weeks back. Though i did not get proper confirmation any one yet on this forum, here is my understanding,
    1. One can define the service interface for the third party webservice in Enterprise Service Repository for the purposes of keeping track of available services in the organization and also to provide some documentation about it for other developers looking to reuse it.
    2. One can also import the WSDL as external definition in to Enterprise Service Repository.
    3. We may not be able to generate proxies for these third party provided applications

  • Configuring PI SSL for communicating with third-party web services

    Hi,
I'm trying to load a COMODO certificate into a J2EE environment running in NetWeaver 7 (no enhancement packs), in order to connect to an external web service using SSL
I have been looking at this reference:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/a0/a5d13f83a14d21e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
and in this document (and many others i've read) it talks about requiring a server key pair to support SSL.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/f1/2de3be0382df45a398d3f9fb86a36a/frameset.htm
My question is - is there a way to use the self-signed root CA certificates instead of having to generate CSRs and sign certs?  I ask this because it seems completely impractical to have to generate key pairs for each SAP installation that is required to access a third-party web service.
Furthermore, the SSL connection may only be for the web service and I'd rather not have to ask that the entire J2EE server is switched to SSL in order to make this secure connection. I've recently discovered the AXIS framework for the SOAP adaptor however I'm not familiar with it and can't identify whether you could use this for the SSL handshake and avoid having to a) generate certificate key pairs and b) switch your J2EE server to SSL
Does anyone have experience connecting to a third-party service using VeriSign, COMODO or Thawte certificates and can clear this up for me?
    Regards,
    John

    Did you resolve your issue?
I´m posting some comments that maybe can help newer administrators facing similar doubts.
I´m using NW PI 7.1 EHP1 also and some interfaces were developed for using an external site providing web services through SSL (HTTPS) connection.
As in browser navigation, secure sites protected with SSL has a certificate emited by a international CA. We didn´t perceive the "handshake" in the most of cases because normally the web browser has a group of trusted CAs loaded on its certificate store.
With SAP PI and its WAS Java a similar procedure occurs with a small difference. The WAS Java didn´t have the trusted CAs loaded on KeyStorage. So, when the adapter tries to establishing a connection with an HTTPS site (it is a background process)  a "handshake" is required to accepting the certificate and produces a error.
We completes the handshake importing the entire certificate chain (you can upload the site´s certificate to your browser and export it as file) on Keytore under the Trusted CAs view.
Hope this can help someone. It´s an "easy" part of SSL communication.
Now I´m trying to configure the inverse: Some third party consuming the PI web services using SSL. I have an additional component on inbound/ incoming connections that is the SAP Web Dispatcher.
The Help.sap.com is the reference but as always its a little difficult to find the (sequential) path following the links (go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, go back, go back, go ahead)...

  • Third Party Applications for Frontrow.

    Hi Guys,
Will Frontrow run RMVB files or MKV's ( For HD stuff and foreign language films ) Will a Mac play an SRT or SAA subtitle file or any other non-DVD subtitle file? Is there a VOB sub equvilent for the Mac?
Are there any third party applications available for the Mac and Frontrow such as.. www.mymovies.dk for media center? Allowing you to view the DVD cover art, read profiles of the actors in the movies, find other movies in your collection with them starring in, watch trailers of the movies, sort by Genre, year, by whether you have watched it yet or not, by anything you want basically.
    Thanks for your help guys,

Are there any third party applications available for the Mac and Frontrow...
Apple has not released a "SDK" for Front Row (Software Development Kit). So, only Apple knows how to tie-in to the Front Row interface. This is a user-to-user forum, so none of us really know, but I doubt Apple will open Front Row for third party developers directly.
There are other options for media players. You might take a look at .
Allowing you to view the DVD cover art...
Standard warning: It's against the Terms of Use of the Apple Discussions to post about ripping DVDs to your hard drive. With that said, the current version of Front Row will play VIDEO_TS folders if they live in your user's "Movies" folder (or there's an alias to their location inside your "Movies" folder). If you include a file called "preview.jpg" inside the VIDEO_TS folder, this image will be used by Front Row as the preview image.

  • UCCX 9.01 Database Access For a Third Party Application

    Hello Folks,
I'm starting with Cisco UCCX (and Cisco Collaboration too) soo an old customer ask me for help in develop an Web Application to collect specific data from queues, agents... in the Cisco UCCX, until now everything is OK, no problem. This request was based because our customer has not adapted with the format of the data submitted for monitoring queues and agents presented by UCCX.  When we tried to collect those data from UCCX Server, we seen that UCCX have an internal Database and for collect data from this one is not possible by default by a Third Party Application. For this kind of solution, we'll need our UCCX server connecting directly with external Database (Like SQL, Oracle..) and a specific license is needed (Unified IP IVR or Unified CCX Premium). Then, our Application would collect data from this DB.
    is that right?
Please feel free to share any suggestion and experience about.
    Best Regards,
    Rodolpho Pereira

    Hi Rodolpho,
You need a PREMIUM license, in case you wish to integrate to an external DB (SQL, Oracle, etc). This is used in case of reading values from an external DB or writing values to the same using the DB Read and DB write steps.
From my understanding, your customer needs to have a reporting capability through their third party application. This is generally termed as Wallboard.
For more information on how to how to configure Wallboard, please check the Administrator guide for UCCX:
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_9_0/configuration/guide/UCCX_BK_U767AC77_00_uccx-admin-guide.pdf
Basically, the UCCX has a uccxwallboard user whose password can be changed from the UCCX admin page to be used to integrate with the third party software. This user has access to the Real Time Statistics tables on the UCCX and can be used to pull out the necessary data.
    Hope this helps!

  • Can't visit internet for third party applications

I have an unlocked Blackberry 8900, now I am using Chinese Mobile SIM card in China.
Now I am confused that sometimes it can't visit internet (I am using edge data plan of China mobile) with other third party applications (I mean the application is not from RIM, like UC browser, gmail). Most of time these third parrty applications work well, but sometimes, these third party applications can't visit internet via edge, but Blackberry browser is working well. I have to take out battery and reboot the device.
My OS verison is v5.0.0.822, bundle 1385, platform 5.2.0.76
Today I saw below message when application could't not use  edge.
    Reason
    net.rim.device.api.io.connection
    closedException: stream closed.
How can I solve the problem?

Yes - you can do it via Terminal or do as I do - use TRIM Enabler.
Just be aware that each time you update your System software (from 10.8.1 to 10.8.2, for example) you'll have to enable TRIM all over again. Not such a big deal.

Log in to my Verizon account.  Try to access Backup Assistant contacts.  The website is a loop......it behaves as if I'm not logged in.  I have checked and DO have the services (provided for free with my plan).  Phone is set up properly and just synched it to cloud.  Cannot get to the verizon web page to Manage Contacts.

It may be a situation where we all wait for things to clear up.  The Verizon Cloud has been having issues for a very long time.  Have you tried backing up contacts to your Gmail account, if you have one?
