Verizon to offer $100 bill credit on new lines activated? Is this true?

All over the internet, cellphone websites like AndroidCentral are reporting that Verizon is now offering $100 of credit for every new line activated from Feb. 7th to 28th. I just added 2 lines recently and was curious if anyone has heard anything about this offer or if anyone has successfully received the credit?

I just talked to Verizon, the supervisor talked to the marketing team, he even looked at the image himself that has been circulating.
They said they have no such promotion going on. He said his marketing team has been receiving other phone calls about this also, asking about this "promotion/discount". He said he would note this down and have the marketing team look into it.
The only promotions they have in their system are the waived activation fee promotion on new lines and also the trade-in discount promotion.

I have been going back and forth with them. The only "unlimited" plan I can think of where this would not apply is the old Connect plan for multimedia/basic phones. That unlimited data, on devices such as the LG Voyager, EnvTouch, and other "multimedia" devices is not the same.
If you currently have an individual $29.99 unlimited data plan with a 3G Smartphone, then you can buy a BBQ10 retail and activate it with the same data plan and keep the unlimited.

Missing bill credit on first bill

I have had my new phone and plan for less then twenty four hours and now see I owe $105. One day? After reading everything about billing I'm still confused how signing up for a plan that would (total) $55 plus tax per month, how it became $105 due now. I also don't see my billing credit of $100 that Walmart said I receive when I sign up for Verizon. I now feel stupid for getting a (smartphone) and a Verizon plan.

In general your first bill will be prorated from the day you activate your phone through the end of the current billing cycle plus you will be charged for the following billing cycle since Verizon charges for service up front. The $100 bill credit you are referring to takes 2-3 billing cycles to show up on your account. Hope this helps your next bill should be $55 + taxes and fees. The first bill is always higher so don't feel stupid for getting the smartphone.

Unwanted field validation when adding new line to ALV (ABAP OO)

Hi,
We are using OO Controls to create an editable ALV grid, whose structure contains debit/credit indicator.
When we click on the standard add new line button, a new line is added but an error message appears telling the user to enter a valid credit/ debit indicator (of course it is blank in the new line).
This is annoying for users - is there any way to suppress this when....but just when a new line is being created?

Debug and find out what is the sy-ucomm when you add a new line in the ALV. And then In the validation of "enter a valid credit/ debit indicator " put a IF condition to check the if the SY-ucomm is not for inseting new line.

the fact that your question is posted in Order Management section, does the move order automatically generated by OM?
nevertheless, i don't think you should (or allowed, in this case) to add a new line in transact move order. Transact move order only queries (not create records) the move order lines eligible to allocate and transact.
So, I don't see why you need to add a new line in transact move order.
You can, however, add a new line in the allocation of the lines, where for instance, you need to have half of the line allocated to one locator, and the other half to another locator

Copy the data from first line while dynamically adding a new line in table

1. There is a table
2. An add button adds a new line to the table using 'AddInstance'
3. A record is entered in the first line
4. When the add button is clicked it adds a new line and along with it copies the data entered in the first line
My question is how to copy the data from the first line and show it in the new line added. This is required so that user can use most of the common values in the first line.

Block creation of new line item in SO

Hi,
Scenario:
In the sales order, the order quantity of line item 10 is 10pcs, only 5pcs is shipped. I want to allow the remaining 5pcs to be able to ship at some other time. However, no modification is allowed in the order quantity of this line item 10. Also, no addition of new line item in this sales order.
Question:
How to block creation/addition of new line item or block modification in the order quantity of the existing line item, but allow the existing line item to be shipped in a sales order?

You can control through User authorisation, you maintain the authorisation for VA02 for the specific User with the help of BASIS people.
If you donot want maintain the authorisation you need to activate the User Exit for the with the help of ABAPer.
You can use these User exits.

New-line character in stacked message pop-up

I have run into a brick wall with this situation--
Our clients are running Client/Server Forms 6i, and Web Forms 6i using Patch 10. They are about to upgrade web forms to the latest version 9.0.4.1.0 (10g).
We have a few PLL routines that use the stacked message method: Message('text here'); Message(' ',no_acknowledge);to display important error messages to the user. It is especially useful to display the multiple ORA- errors when an unexpected server error occurs.
Throughout all versions of Client/Server forms, and even in our old version of Web forms, I can use chr(10) or another character to start each error message on a new line.
Somewhere after Patch 10, Oracle has removed that capability. Instead, pop-up stacked messages word-wrap into a multi-line message, and display the new-line character as a box indicating an unprintable character. Our nicely formatted messages are a mess!
I have been told I should use an alert, which supports chr(10) as the new line. However, this is a PLL routine, and I would have to create an alert in hundreds of forms just to accommodate this short-sightedness. The changes and subsequent testing and release issues make this an unworkable solution.
I am clueless as to why this feature would be removed. Oracle support is treating it as an enhancement request. Any ideas?

If you really have hundreeds of forms ... create one more - to display your messages. Make it modal and nice looking. Call it through the library. Design it to work both as [OK] message and as an users responce [Yes]/[No]/[Cancel].
And honestly - I don't think message(); message() is the best way to display messages. Whoever designed the application should've think about alerts with standartized naming convention, so they can be handled easily through the PLL.

I tried on the BAPI_PR_CHANGE, and the return message says that it has successfully changed the PR. But, when i see it via ME53N, it's not being updated.

EA1 - new line in title on error message

My database connection is oracle 10.2.
Into a workbook type "select" and press F9 to run the script
The title of the error message is ORA-00936: missing expression
However, at the end there is a new line character.
This displays under window 2000 as a square box, and under windows XP it puts the text off centre vertically in the caption.
This seems to happen for any error code.

Yes it does and I hope they can fix it as part of 1.5, but it has been there for ages.
