Verizon trying to steal my money

I recently bought a iPhone through Verizon. It came I activated it has been almost 2 days and my service is still not connected(my plan) I have called customer service repeatedly. They keep telling me that I have not made a payment. I have proof in my confirmation email, bank statement and paper receipt. I have called everyone, I don't know what to do next. Help?

  i agree ,verizon is stealing money from their customers.......Deceptive LYING sales reps,managment,on up the CEO of the company....."COMPLETE FRAUD on VERIZON behalf"   Tried to canncel contract after having tablet and 3 phones just a few days after receiving them..told me they would note account for that day and see how they could fix problems with contract and tablet...i called them back and they told me i was not within the 14 day return period and could not cancel their deceptive fraudulant contract.........
charging monthly bill and usage charges  for defective tablets that i didnt even have in my poccession ,instead of replacement they send it back and say couldnt find problem. .After store techs and phone techs could not fix or figure out how to fix tablet. Verizon SENDS me back the same BROKEN TABLET i sent them to fix "STILL BROKEN"...  ................Everything about Verizon is a SCAM....Also im not stopping until this issue is resolved With LYING THEIVING VERISON

  • Horrible Customer Service and trying to steal my money

    So I have only had ATT for a month and am already feeling the horrible service. I moved to a new apartment and ordered Uverse internet and cable. They came on time and installed it fine. But the TV wasn't working. So when I called the company, they said that I only ordered internet (not cable), even though I had the form that the installation guy gave me saying cable and internet. After 2 hours of multiple transfers on the phone and arguing (they tried to tell me I didn't irder cable, even though I had the cable box sitting in front of me hooked up to the TV), they finally said they will add on the cable and it would be the original price I was quoted (106 a month I believe). After that, I noticed a bill for $170, including an installation fee (which was suppose to be free when I ordered my cable originally) and another fee for changing my plan mid-cycle. This month, I check my account, and its $140 dollars for some more miscellaneous charges, and not my original quoted $106. What is going on with them? They first messed up my original order, then charged me extra to fix the mistake THEY made, and blatantly lied to me on the phone that they would take care of it. How did you deal with your problem/ get ahold of them? I will be attempting to call tomorrow to resolve the issue, and will definitely let my lawyer know what they are trying to do to me, given the fact that I did not break any contracts and they've broken their contract with me. Is there any way there's someone from ATT on these message boards to send messages to?

    I recently bought an EP, a song, and a Add-on for a game, all while I had over $30 on my credit card, but now apple is telling me that I did not pay for my stuff. Now I cannot download anything new, and I'm being punished for apple having a terrible payment method. The money was taken from my bank account so either they messed up or apple is trying to steal another $6.50 from me, which is not okay. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Verizon Wireless has stolen my money

    I went to "edge up" on one of my lines.  The Verizon wireless representative took about $350.00 from my debit card, when they were only supposed to take $26.00.  Now after more than 20 hours of my time over a period of almost 2 weeks of trying to get my money refunded back to my debit account.  They are saying that they will only credit it to my Verizon account.  During this 2 week timeframe of repeated calls, I have had various Verizon representatives promising that I would have my money back on this day or that day and after that time passes, I have had to call back and now I am being told that they will not refund the money, they will only apply it to my Verizon account.  They also say that there is no one else to talk to and will not give me any numbers of the people making this decision, say that it is "offline" people that do not talk to customers.  They say that they do not have the ability to refund the money.  This is a lie.  They do, they just do not want to because of their own internal processes, not because of a physical inability to do so. Now I am told that I have to wait 48 hours for a next level supervisor to call me back.  I can't have a name or number to call them.  So, what do you call taking someone's money without authorization and then withholding it from them and saying that those who took it have the right to say how it is used / returned?  I think it is theft! I would hope that someone from Verizon's corporate office would step up and address this issue.

    With you not being a Verizon employees and knowing methods and procedures, how do you know it's a lie?

  • Adobe is stealing my money and I cannot find a way to stop it

    Please help!
    For the longest time I have been paying $49 every month without being able to use my Adobe creative cloud subscription, and now I have finally had enough. Today when trying to figure out why my account was dormant I realised that somehow my account has been associated with the wrong country (UK), even though I have never even been to the United Kingdom. After hours of trying to find a solution or a call centre number on Adobe.com I have still not had any luck in resolving the issue. Finally I ordered a new Adobe CC subscription with my husband's Adobe ID and signed up for yet another $49 plan which means in essence now I'm paying double!
    Please can someone get in touch to resolve this.
    AND PLEASE CAN ADOBE STOP STEALING MY MONEY?
    Ideally I would like a full refund, but at least I would like Adobe to stop pissing away my cash.

    Another poster said that if you sign out of your iTunes Store account, go to the item you wish to gift, and select "gift" and go through the purchase process, it will then ask you for your account information and send the gift. I haven't tried this myself, but it's worth a go.

    Last time I used Skype and paid € 10 you  stole € 7.31 after a few months on the grounds that the account was inactive. Do you still steale customers' money when you think they are not using the service often enough?

    Why do I need to login and use my account, just to prove I still want my money, is that not self-evident in the fact that IT IS MONEY?  Some of us travel, live off the grid, or don't find Skype to be our main method of communication.  Why?  Because you're scammers.
    Why can we not transfer funds from an old account to a new?  Because you're scammers.
    Why does googleTalk and other services allow multi-cam video chat, for free?  Because you're scammers.
    And finally, any support staff that reads this (and my above message), I'm sorry you have to bear the brunt of our anger.  I'm sure you're just doing your job   Go yell at your boss for me, would ya?  And maybe accidently forward this to the company-wide email list.

You buy a product that by chance (you can't choose) is in Spanish and the Adobe thieves don't let you enter the license to continue using a test version because the test version is in English! You search the internet for a solution and the one posted by Adobe is not valid for the product, which is Adobe Acrobat 11 Pro. You then go to the Control Panel to try and uninstall the test version and you find that the sole version installed is the one in Spanish while the only one that appears when you double-click Acrobat is the test one that you can't use after tomorrow because today is the last day of the test. Bandits!

    que da. Adobe cobra sin aceptar lo que ha vendido como la contrapartida
    (definida unilateralmente por Adobe) de la venta cuyo precio ha cobrado.

    I have an IMAC computer. In my console message log, I see that Verizon ( 173.79.214.66:53) is making Stealth connects to my computer every few seconds. These attempts are all being blocked by my Firewall. Why is Verizon trying to make these connects?

    After looking that IP Address and finding the rDNS, I find it hard to believe that Verizon is trying to connect to your computer.
    rDNS for that IP Address is pool-173-79-214-66.washdc.fios.verizon.net
    What more likely is happening and I don't know why at this time, is that a Verion customer is trying to connect to your computer.
    I can take educated guess(es) as to why the customer is trying to connect to your computer.
    #1 Perhaps your computer's public IP Address is listed as a public DNS Server?
    For example, the user might be using the tool from
    http://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm and is trying to buid a custom list of the top DNS Server(s), based upon their location.
    Or the user might be using the tool from
    http://code.google.com/p/namebench/
    The programer(s) of these tools has not removed your IP Address in the list of IP Address(es).
    For the grc.com DNS tester the list is at http://www.grc.com/dns/resolvers.csv
    For the google DNS tester, I found the list by:
    a) From that URL that I gave earlier, I clicked on Source,
    b) I found the URL for read only access.
    c) Went to that URL
    d) Browsed to trunk/config,
    e) Then clicked on servers.csv
    #2 Perhaps they made a typo when entering in what DNS Server (or DNS Servers) to use?
    For example if you look at the list of DNS Server(s) in the Google DNS Tester, you will notice that there are DNS Servers that are blacklisted (or rejected) because the at least one user made a typo.

    Received a dialog box that said something like, "Since your time machine has changed, someone may be trying to steal your data through time machine backup". Help?

    Remote access security on the TC is pretty good, as long as you do not use default password.. and do use WPA2 Personal wireless security with a decent length password.
    Did you change something .. so that TM was forced to backup to what is apparently a different location. If so that has generated this error message.. which is rather a strange one.
    The security on the TC itself is a short press of the reset button and it all flies away. So if someone in your household has physical access to the TC your backups can be accessed with ease. If you are concerned encrypt your backup in Time Machine.

  • A FREE game called "We Farm" steals real money from iTunes account?

    I think Apple should take a serious look on this game - "We Farm" and many others. Although it is a free game, but actually it can steal your money from your iTunes account during your kids playing the game.
    My son just played the game for about 10 mins, then my iTunes account was charged for $29.70 for three purchases of some bottles. This is some kind of tricks named Top in App Purchases (Finally I know what it is) that Apple should not allow it happened; since it doesn't need you to punch in the password again to confirm payment.
    Now I know that many free games also has the function of Top in App Purchases; so everyone should be very careful when downloading these free games. May be Apple would like to see these things happen again and again because the money steal from our iTunes account with a large portion goes to Apple's pocket.

    I understand what you are saying. Everyone needs to take responsibility for their purchases and for their children. Just the same it seems like anytime $ is going to come out of your itunes account it should require your itunes account password and Apple should require this from 3rd party app developers. I can see parents letting their kids play with the ipad....they download a free game app because their parents said that they can if it's free....and then they go on to play it, make purchases and rack up $100 or $200 dollars because the parents are not paying attention to their kids and are letting the ipad "babysit" them....just like many parents let the TV "babysit" their kids. I'm not saying it's right....just that you can't expect every parent in the world to win the "Best Parent in the World" prize.
    If I were them - I'd call up Apple Customer Relations to see about getting the $ back or at least getting the app developer to put some sort of impediment in the way of very small children making purchases on the ipad.
