Verizon Web Pages (unable to view)

I can not view media or web pages related to ringtones/ringback tones...anyone else having this problem now?

I would like to make sure you are able to access the content available through the Verizon Media Store. Are you receiving a specific error message? Does this only happen when using the Safari browser? I would suggest clearing the cookies within your browser. From Home screen press Settings>Safari> Clear Cookies and Data. Also, confirm JavaScript is turned on. I am available to troubleshoot further, if needed. I look forward to hearing from you.

Lack of Current and Correct TV Listings on Verizon WEB pages

This has been a repeat problem over the past month. Verizon can not keep the TV listing pages viewed via the Internet current, i.e., at this time the listings STOP at 8 PM on Wed, March 20, 2013. Verizon also did not handle the switch the DST properly as it took about 72+ hours for the WEB pages to be correct. Also the WEB pages as some point stopped allowing you to program your DVR. During this issues with the WEB pages the DVR provided correct time and listing information.
If Verizon is going to state that you can program your DVR via a computer or other connected device, than accurate and current listings MUST be available via Verizon WEB pages. Anything less is false advertising, period!

Apparently this problem is never going to be addressed by Fios!!!

Verizon web pages not displaying correctly

I am having a problem displaying most of the Verizon web pages, including the forum pages. The pages look like the header icons are sustituted with text links throughout the pages, sometimes overlaying other areas. Check the attachment for two samples. this makes them very difficult to navigate. I have not noticed this on any pages other than Verizon's, but I suppose there may be some somewhere. Find it hard to believe my browser only has the problem here. It only is an issue on my desktop pc. My laptop is ok. The only changes I made just before this happened was to uninstall a runaway Verizon In-Home Agent that was in an endless loop trying to get an update. Any ideas?

Try adding verizon.com to your Trusted Sites zone in Internet Explorer.
To do so, double-click the "Internet Zone" thing down there ▼ to bring up the Security panel, select the Trusted Sites zone and click the Sites button. Then enter "verizon.com" and click Add. You will have to uncheck the "Require server verification" box.
That should fix the problem.

Opening Verizon web page

After I turn my computer on and try to open Verizon web page by double clicking on desktop icon it takes forever to open up. I also get this message:"

Then if I close the attempt and try again I can connect in a normal speed. What is wrong?

Using query strings in links mysite.verizon web pages

Has anyone had trouble using query strings in links to other web pages your personal web pages? I have a link to another web page where I pass an ID using query string but when I click on the link I get a 404 error even though the web page exists (the link appears fine).

Advertisements keep replacing web pages i am viewing.

When i load web pages this happens with any pages at random) i get an advertisement that hijacks the page, i then have to skip the advert in order view the page i was on before.

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database.

If I use the default Nokia browser and go to a web page on the BBC website which has an embedded flash video to watch, then the embedded video screen goes black for a second, then White with a "Flash" placeholder in the bottom of the screen. I CANNOT watch ANY such video content from the BBC website.
for example, go to the BBC.CO.UK/FOOTBALL page, and click on any of the video clips there.
Using a PC, and "Right-Clicking" on the actual embedded video player it tells me it is the BBC Media Player V2.10.7938.7967.
What have I tried ? well,
I have allowed all cookies and clkeared cache down repeatedly - no difference.
I have installed the latest Flash Lite from Adobe - no difference.
I have tried Opera Mini - no difference
I have tried my GF's brand new 5800 - and it at least gets the black screen with the spinning circle progress bar thingy.......but still no video.
I CAN watch BBC iPlayer videos OK using the iPlayer application, butt his problem with the vidoe clips is driving me insane and would be ecstatic if someone could help with this issue.....please....

Although it is integrated into the phone firmware, it is not developed by Nokia, so they can't influence when it gets updated. Whether Windows Mobile is any more up to date is something you'd have to check with its fanbase.

Can I save multiple web pages for offline viewing?

I'm just about to head off on a big trip and there's a great travel website that I'd like to save.
I dimly remember in the early 2000s it was possible to save an offline version of a webpage and specify how many depths of links also to save, i.e. you could save a page, all the linked pages on that page, all the linked pages on those linked pages and so on.
I'd really like to do that so I can access this website and one layer of (internal) links for offline viewing.
I'm on a Macbook Pro with 10.6.8 with Safari 5.1.10 (but can access a MB Air with 10.9.x if need be).
Any help appreciated!

try the newer version, since the 10.6 one at least doesn't handle depth (limits : levels in the preferences) very sensibly for saving webpages.

A previous web page I was viewing appeared unexpectedly for a second then displayed correct page.

true story.
while teaching guitar to a 14 yr old student, I opened up safari to find lyrics for a song for us to learn.
typed in the name. Clicked and Looked at the first link on results page. Went back to results page. clicked on second link.
played the song.
CLosed safari....well ...I hit the home button....didn't really turn off the app.
2 Minutes later, opened safari again for another song....
and the screen
is showing
an "image" I had viewed 6 hours before at home, for a full second then switched back to the
song page I was expecting to see.
this was a very...very ...awkward moment.

You might consider using a different browser for work than you do for....whatever else you use a browser for. I like iCab Mobile.

Web page unable to connect

for some weird reason whenever i go a certain webpage it gives me the error "Unable to connect" yet when i use any other browser there is zero problems i connect as normal. How do i change the settings so i can continue useing firefox as my primary browser.

In CCM admin, have you checked to make sure web access is enabled for these phones?

Happens no matter what Verizon page I try.

In preferences, in cookies, I first removed every Verizon address and variation from the cookie list. Then I typed in every Verizon site address and double checked the spelling, etc. I made sure I clicked on allow for each one. I have no problems when using Safari. I use 1Password to generate passwords and copy and paste the password when I try to log in. I am using the same ID and password on Firefox and Safari, at the same web address. Please fix this problem. It has been happening for over a year and I'm finally fed up so I'm asking for help.

How to delete a device all-together if its not under contract using Verizon web page

I want to remove an iPad that wasn't purchased with subsidies from Verizon. It was just bought outright from a store and later activated for cellular data. We don't use it outside of the house enough to need cellular data plus all of our iPhones are wifi hotspots. I tried to drop it in the my account area. I could temporary cancel and report it lost or stollen, but it says it will reactivate in 30 days and shows as temporarily deactivated. Why no "remove this item" button that just EASILY deletes and terminates service on items that are not under contract? Surely removing this non-contract item will not cost me anything.

You have to call customer service at 1-800-922-0204 or *611 to cancel a line of service with Verizon Wireless. You can also go to a corporate store and cancel there. You can't cancel online.
