Verizon webmail page screwed up

Verizon's webmail page is messed up.  I log in to my account fine, but when I click on "Show All Emails" it goes to a page that is unreadable. I wish I could attach a screen shot!
And it's not me or my computer, it is something on their end.  The problem is that I don't know how to contact them to let them know.

Go to the top of your My Verizon home page and click on feedback.  Report the problem there and it will get fixed in a few days.  I have had great luck with this way of reporting problems.

  • Verizon Webmail Security Warning Popup

Just recenly when I signed out from the Verizon webmail page I recieved the following popup:
After googling to find out some information about this annoying popup, I got some informaion about how to stop this popup, but I had to go to Internet Options and change a setting. The popup has stopped, but I'm wondering why it suddenly just started as I hadn't changed any setting until I got the popup and researched how to stop it. Out of curiosity has any one else received this popup? I got this popup a few times in the past but it was with other websites and only occurred a very few times. I know it is related to Internet Explorer 8 and also has happened with other IE versions.

I'm sure that is true but I was wondering why this just started happening as we have had the new sign in page for somet time and the Verizon webmail page has been used even longer. I think I will alert them by sending this information to Feedback. Also I will change my setting back to Prompt for safey  reasons and sign out from my email by just clicking on the X in the right hand corner as the mail times out anyway as the popup bugs me.

  • Compose Message problem using Verizon webmail

On my Windows 7 machine, using either Chrome or Explorer to access the Verizon webmail page,  I unable to compose a message.   The compose message window will not open after clicking GO.   Yet when I use my Vista machine there is no problem.    Any suggestions?

Might be prevented by a popup blocker.

  • Anyone else having trouble with Verizon Webmail?

Yesterday morning I found that I could not log into Verizon Webmail using Safari. I called Verizon FIOS Tech Support and they said there was  a system-wide e-mail problem which would take 4-10 hours to fix. I noted that I was able to access Webmail using Firefox, for which he had no answer.
Nevertheless, I deleted all verizon.net cookies and rebooted but still have the same problem today (and Webmail worked on Firefox last night).
Does anyone else have this problem?

YES!!  I've been having problems constantly for the past two days accessing my Verizon e-mail via the web browser interface.  I'm on a Windows PC running XP SP3.
I contacted the on-line chat support from my FIOS account page, and the brilliant support person told me that they don't have the knowledge to handle FIOS related issues and offered to give me the phone number for FIOS support - HUH??   I used the link from the FIOS Support page, and they don't handle FIOS questions?  How **bleep** is that?
The larger issue to me is, what does trying to access the Verizon webmail application have to do with FIOS?  I'm not at home trying to use my FIOS connection - I'm at work on the open internet - for all Verizon cares, I could be at an internet cafe, an airport PC kiosk, or anywhere in the world trying to get to my Verizon e-mail via the web - what does FIOS have to do with that?

  • Inconsistent or No access to Verizon Webmail

Over the last week or so, we have been unable to access the Verizon Webmail site at all or with serious inconsistency. This does not seem to matter what broswer or version we choose to use.
    Site:  webmail.verizon.net or webmail.verizon.com
Browser options:  Chrome(latest update/version), Firefox multiple versions from 5 to 10, Internet Explorer versions 8 and 9.
Most of the time you get the sign in page, but once you have entered your credentials, the resulting navigation and hand off times out.  If you get to the actual page with your email shown, if you manipulate your email in any fashion, the page gives random errors or completely time out as well.
Please investigate the issue and respond.
    Sincerely,
    Merle Family

  • My firefox will not open or save attachments. I use Verizon webmail as my email. Is there a storage place that Firefox uses for attachments that I must clean out to enable this feature again? ideas?

    Using Firefox 11.0, Verizon Webmail.

    Hi,
Please try a '''Ctrl''' + '''F5''' refresh. This helps to bring in the page afresh. If the problem persists, please try a [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Managing-profiles new profile]. If it's okay, you can later [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Recovering%20important%20data%20from%20an%20old%20profile?s=profile&r=1&e=sph&as=s copy the needed personal data] from the old profile. Firefox stores your personal data and settings in another location separate from its [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Installation_directory files/folder]. • No Verizon Home Page

Can't get Verizon Home Page. I can get Verizon webmail. Anybody else in Baltimore County, Md. or some other place having this problem It just happened this afternoon
    Holly
I just got this message when I tried getting home page againerver Too Busy
I just spoke to a Verizon rep who said they were gradually phasing out verizon.net, and he said to use verizon.com but when I did it wasn't the Verizon homepage sign in page we have been getting so I typed in the correct log in and made that my homepage Actually it was the sign in home page that said server too busy.  I got server too busy when I clicked in IE on my desktop.
    Holly
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

The rep said they were phasing out verizon.net and to use the  verizon.com. If you don't know the full sign in for the IE options from tools, then google to find the Verizon sign in page and put that in the  Internet Options as your home page after clicking on Tools. Then you will get the sign in page when you  click on IE from your desktop.
We should have been notified of this.
Never mind the rep must have been mistaken as they have fixed it and you can still use verizon.net.

  • Remove Default From Address from Verizon Webmail?

My Verizon Webmail account (and sub-accounts) have been receiving emails from unauthorized Senders (@verizon.net), and it appears that this address is appearing below my address within the drop-down in Verizon Webmail > Mail Setup > Generic E-mail Setup > Default From Address:
Where did this bogus address come from, and how do I get rid of it??
    Thanks!

If it starts with "vze" or "res" then that is your Verizon user id. There is no way to remove this from your account.
If it isn't a user id, check to see if it's an alias. Look in the Email Settings portion of your My Account page. If it's an alias, you should be able to delete it from there.
If it isn't a user id and it isn't an alias, contact tech support. Anything that is on your account that shouldn't be needs to be investigated by Verizon.
    ***Regardless of what it is:***
Change your password and secret answer to something complex and hard to guess, and run a virus scan on every computer you access the account from. If someone other than you is sending mail from an address on your account, you need to re-secure it ASAP.

  • Email Alias and Verizon Webmail

My wife has recently started a new job/business for which the owners have set her up with a non-Verizon email alias which is directed to her personal verizon email address.  We are attempting to set it up in Verizon Webmail, so that when she replies to an email from that non-Verizon email alias, that it shows that alias in the "Reply From" for the sake of professionalism.  Does anyone know if this is possible?

It can be done on the Email page on E mail settings.

  • Verizon Webmail

I really hope that this is an easy fix because I really like Mail. Here is my issue. I've setup Mail for my Verizon account and it works OK. I can send/receive mail without any problems.
However when I am away from my iMac and I use Verizon's webmail it shows every email that I have either opened or deleted in Mail forcing me to go back through a ton of email to find what is actually new or unopened. Now I know I'm comparing apples (no pun intended) to oranges but when I used Outlook Express and I opened an email through that program it never showed back up in the webmail.
I hope someone has a fix for this. I looked on Verizon support page but nothing mac related except for Safari.

Hi UMjams: It sounds like your Mail is set to leave messages on the server. Try this: Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Advanced Tab. Is the option to "Remove from Server after retrieving a message" checked? Be aware though that once you do this messages downloaded to you Mc will not be available in the Webmail.
    Hope this helps

  • Verizon webmail hangs up

I use POP mail via Outlook when I'm at home (no issues) but want to use webmail when I am on other computers or traveling.   Verizon's webmail performance is really terrible, however.  90% of the time, I have problems.
(My OS shouldn't matter, but to anticipate the question, I generally use Windows 7 or XP.   The problems occur in both IE 8 and Firefox 13 and on several different computers.  Although the problem is not pop-up related, I have tried it with popup and ad blockers both on and off).
Since there are several different portals - and nowhere is it explained what the difference between them is -
    - From the webmail.verizon.net page, I sign in and my browser goes to "STID processing intermediate page" where it hangs up and eventually dies.
    - From "My Verizon 3.0", http://www22.verizon.com/Foryourhome/MyAccount/Unprotected/UserManagement/Login/Login.aspx,I log in and it directs me to http://www22.verizon.com/foryourhome/MyAccount/Protected/Overview/MyOverView.aspx.  From that page I can see the six most recent emails in my mailbox.  However, when I click the "View All Email" link, it tries connecting, but after "Waiting for webmail.verizon.com" for several minutes, it hangs up and never connects.
Let me know what you think the problem is.  If there is another different URL I should be going to, tell me where it is.

It really sounds like a browser issue, I use the same as you with no problems, I see the STID loading page like you, but mine doesn't hang.   I have been around the internet long enough to have seen this a few times, and I really feel or my gut says that you either have a browser issue, or some form of malware/spyware hanging up the system.   Internet Explorer has a tendency to get bogged down and act very slowly.  you should test and make sure it's just internet explorer.
So the easiest way in my opinion is to grab another browser like chrome.  I know you mentioned firefox, but if it's kernal is hanging, then perhaps trying the chrome one will have better results.  Download and install and run it and then test it.  see if it's faster.   If it is I would recommend just switching to it as your primary browser, but if you REALLY want IE to work over another browser, then you would want to attempt to fix it. (click internet explorer, and then drill down to the appropriate problem)
    Or click here.

  • Verizon Webmail does not login

    Verizon Webmail does not login
It keeps redirecting to an error page like:
Our records indicate that the User ID you entered is not available. Please check the User ID and try again.
If you continue to experience problems, please contact us.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.

That would be Verizon 2.0 (if you look at the URL, you should see that it's verizon.com, not verizon.net) which seems a bit... broken, at the moment.
The advice that I've been given that seems to work is to ignore error, and click on the "My Verizon Services" button at the top, then there should be an inbox button.
    Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

  • Safari and Verizon webmail

I use Safari on iPad to connect to Verizon webmail. The Verizon interface just changed and I can no longer compose messages. Safari doesn't recognize the text box in which the message is composed, so the keyboard does not pop up. Is this a Safari problem or a Verizon problem?

YES!!  I've been having problems constantly for the past two days accessing my Verizon e-mail via the web browser interface.  I'm on a Windows PC running XP SP3.

  • Checking verizon webmail on droid x

I bookmarked my verizon email (webmail) page and would like to check my email from my phone.  I can log into the page on my phone and see that I have new emails in my inbox, but I cannot get to them because of a big advertisement on the page that does not allow me to see my emails.  Anyone have some tips for me?  Thanks!

I have the same problem on the original Droid.   I used to be able to open the mail in the main inbox and all the subfolders, but now I can see the folders but I can't open any of them.  In the area where the emails should open there is a big advertisement.  So, I don't have access to email from my smart phone anymore.  This is really sad.
The email application on the phone only gives me mail that goes into the main inbox and sometimes it doesn't update for a couple of days.

  • Unable to load null status:404 when replying in Verizon webmail

Unable to load null status:404 when replying in Verizon webmail. Error appears in its own window. It seems to be related to MIME-encoded incoming messages. I can open a new message window and copy/paste the reply-message into the new message and then send it without the error. Trying to save-as-draft also gives the same error message. This is recent after update to V.31 of Firefox on Win7(Sp1).

    Hey guys,
