  • I installed the Illustrator 2014 in its English version, but I need the Hebrew support too (ME). How can I add it to my current installation?

    Hi,
I’d purchased the full CC 2014 and downloaded from your web site.
Unfortunately, I installed the Illustrator 2014 in its English version only and I would like to install the Illustrator ME with
Hebrew support as well as right to left support.
How can I add the Hebrew support to my current installation?

    Hi Hans-Günter,
Thank you for your quick reply, I looked at the website and if I understood correctly, in order to change my CC applications to support the ME/RTL I must
un-install the Illustrator 2014, and re-install it, selecting this option in the Language preferences.
Do I need to re-install the whole CC package? or only the Illustrator?

  • Ios version 5.1 will siri Hebrew?

I want to know if the next version will siri Hebrew?

Apples web site states: In 2012, Siri will support additional languages, including Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Italian, and Spanish. It has not indicated when/if it will support Hebrew. I would suggest you send your feedback directly to Apple requesting Hebrew http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

  • Please - Muse, Middle Eastern version, Hebrew site design.

I've been trying everywhere to get the answer to this question, alas, with no luck. The (very) simple question is this:
Can I, or can I not, design with Muse a website that is all in Hebrew? Is there already a Middle Eastern version of Muse that supports Hebrew, similar to the InDesign version that I so love and cherish? Please? Anybody?

  • Problem set up photoshop_cs5

this picture shows when i tring to install..
I restarted my computer and nothing changes.
    please someone can help my?!?!?!
    thnx

That error is very generic and doesn’t give much clue what is wrong.  Try chatting with a customer-service person if you haven’t, already.  Someone may ask you to post the setup log, which I’m not sure where resides.
One guess could be that the language of Photoshop you’re installing isn’t compatible with the language-packs you have installed.  In other words, if you are using a Hebrew version of Windows then you’d need the Hebrew version of Photoshop.  I don’t know if there is a Hebrew version of Windows or a Hebrew version of PS, but I know if the languages of Windows and Photoshop don’t match you’ll get an error.

  • RTL text written in 'mirror image' in Dreamweaver CC - semi solution found

I have Adobe CC, which is set on English with Hebrew support. I downloaded InDesign and Photoshop under this setting, and they work perfectly well in Hebrew.
I'm trying to build a site in Hebrew, but whatever I write inside DW *code editing* is shown in a mirror image: It's equivalent to writing "this is a book" and getting "book a is this" (curiously, this doesn't effect on the characters inside the words themselves; 'book' will still show as 'book'). The live preview and the checks on various browsers display the Hebrew properly - this isn't a problem with the code (which already contains '<html lang="he">' and 'body {      direction: rtl;    }'), but rather how DW CC the program displays the text.
Is there a solution for this that does not involve me learning how to read Hebrew back to front or switch to a different editor?
    Bottom line:
    - Adobe CC already set on English with Hebrew support (other programs work fine with Hebrew)
    - Not code problem - all tags are written properly and text displays properly on all browsers I've checked, as well as the live preview
    - Happens between tags and in lines without tags
ETA: I installed the CS6 version of DW (English with Hebrew support), and it works perfectly. But I'd still like to be able to work on DW CC.

    Hi,
We tried reproducing the problem at our end. Everything worked fine here.
Can you please share some more information on your machine configuration:
    1. Mac or Win > Operating system
    2. OS settings > Locale and Keyboard used
    3. What all other Adobe products you have installed on your system (CC and CS)
    4. Does deleting preferences helped you
We will try to replicate your machine environment here. If that does not succeed, we might ask you to share your screen with us so we can try to isolate the problem.
    thanks,

I am from Israel. I wanna buy an iphone 4 from the USA. If I will buy it, it will be with the English version... Could I change it for Hebrew version? to write in Hebrew letters and etc? Thanks for the answers!

Please read the tech specs.  Apple products are always multilingual, there is no English or Hebrew "version" of anything they make.

  • Hebrew versions of photoshop-upgrading from xp to win 7

my GF's daughter is studying photography in high school and they all bought cs3. the UI is in hebrew. shes using xp. the computer is very slow. im upgrading my pc and want to pass my hardware to her and add an ssd and pgrade XP to win 7 pro.
    so some questions please
1-cs5 is the first version that is supported on win 7?
2-shes afraid for me to install a newer version because shes nervous it will look different and she wouldnt be able to do homework because the UI/menus/features will be different.
3-from what version does the software take advantage of strong (ish) gpus? im passing my evga gtx 280 to her.
4-is the hebrew version (not text support tool, but the whole UI) a built in feature, or do you specifically have to buy a hebrew version? Im curious if its like win 7 ultimate where all the different language UI are built in and you can change it on the fly
5-what is the ME version? I ask because mine is a regular CS4 version and I dont have an issue to add text to a photo in hebrew.
6-what is the hebrew UI version called?
    7-how different is cs3 compared to cs6 or cs5? visually/UI or menus?
im trying to see if its even worth upgrading components/version for her. thank you for your time.

The ME versions existed up to CS5, that is correct, but as of CS6 this differentiation was obliterated, though, of course there may be specific issues of which I have no first hand knowledge being a German. In any case, from CS6 all the functions that previously required an ME version are integrated and if installed correctly, the app should appear in those languages as well. Beyond that I can remember a few threads about being not able to type certain characters, but this may merely depend on font avialability and glyph substitution settings. With regards to the UI - the icons' meanings haven't changed, but there are lots of new tools plus the UI has been overhauled and finetuned in pretty much every version in recent years. Whether or not that is confusing is probably down to the individual user. it may be overwhelming at the beginning, but one will get the hang of it eventually.

  • Problem with userchrome.css being effective in Hebrew versions of Firefox

    Hi,
I am trying to remove the Tools menu in Firefox on certain student computers (I am the systems administrator in a small college).
After searching around the internet I was able to put together a userchrome.css file, I placed it in the correct folder and it indeed removed the Tools menu.
However, I later noticed that it seems to work only on computers with English-language Firefox, and did not work on other computers that had Hebrew-language Firefox.
Specifically, it worked on versions 3.6.12 and 3.6.24 in English, and did not work on versions 3.6.12 or 6.01 in Hebrew. Note that I tested the same version (3.6.12) in both Hebrew and English, and therefore I concluded that the Hebrew-language interface is what is causing the problem.
Here is the gist of the userchrome.css file I tried:
    * Do not remove the @namespace line -- it's required for correct functioning
    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* set default namespace to XUL */
    menu[label="Tools"] {
    display: none !important;
I did try replacing the word "Tools" with its Hebrew-language equivalent as it appears in Hebrew Firefox, but that didn't work either.
Does anybody have any information on using userchrome.css on Hebrew Firefox (or on non-English versions of Firefox)?
    Thanks,
    -Michael

It would be better to lock the related prefs if you want to prevent user s from making changes to settings.
Use a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to lock prefs or specify default values.<br />
Place a file local-settings.js in the defaults\pref folder where you also find the file channel-prefs.js to specify using mozilla.cfg.
    pref("general.config.filename", "mozilla.cfg");
    pref("general.config.obscure_value", 0); // use this to disable the byte-shift
    See:
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locking_preferences
You can use these functions in mozilla.cfg:
defaultPref(); // set new default value
pref(); // set pref, but allow changes in current session
lockPref(); // lock pref, disallow changes

  • Compatibility of Adobe Reader International Updates 8.1.5 & 8.1.6 with ME/Hebrew versions of 8.1.3 & 8.1.4

At present, I have Adobe Reader Hebrew version AdbeRdr813_he_IL.exe installed, and I use Internet Explorer 6 SP1 in my Windows 2000 Professional SP4 . The menus and interface in all my Windows 2000 Operating System and installed software are US-English, but the specific menus and interface in my Adobe Reader 8.1.3 are in Hebrew.
Adobe website offers for download ME (Hebrew included inside) Update version AdbeRdrUpd814_all_me_incr.msp, whereas Updates 8.1.5 & 8.1.6 are only available as AdbeRdrUpd815_all_incr.msp and AdbeRdrUpd816_all_incr.msp, without explicit mention of Hebrew or Middle-East (ME) languages compatibility.
Is it compatible and adviseable to download and apply these International Updates 8.1.5 & 8.1.6 directly to the basic Adobe Reader Hebrew 8.1.3 , or first install ME 8.1.4, or directly install International Update 8.1.6 onto Hebrew 8.1.3, thus bypassing ME 8.1.4 & 8.1.5?
Alternatively, should I patiently wait till ME/Hebrew versions of Updates 8.1.5 & 8.1.6 will be offered for download by Adobe?
Note that my main interest is in the ability to search text strings in Hebrew and in English in all PDF documents. The menus and interface might be in US-English or in Hebrew as far as I am concerned.

The ME version of Adobe products are not actually Adobe products. Contact the company that makes and supports these products:

  • Closes applications when you use the select all function in the Hebrew language, ios version 7.0.3

Hi I upgraded to Ios version 7.0.3, I use the Hebrew language.
I have a problem when I select all the Hebrew alphabet, no matter where (it's sms, email, Internet, all applications on the device, and the device itself, search, contacts, calendar).
The device closes the application, and then I open the application and has no caption or a site that was supposed to be before closing as if I started now.
The problem occurs even when I write in the search for the problem device does re-lighting the device as if you just turned on the device (no open applications for example).
It only happens in Hebrew only, if there are English and Hebrew together this glitch does not appear.
I tried other languages English Chinese Russian Indian, they respond well to highlight the text individually without the Hebrew language.
It happened in the previous version 7.0.0.
In older versions it never happened and working already more than a year.
This problem also appears in iPhone 4 and iPad 2 on the same Apple id I have iPhone and same version id of the fault doesn't exist and thought at first it was a sugary but all applications are deleted almost everything and the problem still exists.

If you have any questions, ideas I would love to hear from you.
English is not my speech but my second language.
All I write is translation so if there is anything you don't understand, sorry in advance.
If there is a mistake in translation, please correct me so I can learn from my mistakes.
    Thank you all.
