That message is telling you to update iTunes on your computer, not your phone. You need iTunes 11.1 on your computer in order to sync your devices.

Downloaded latest verzion of thunderbird, and thr required latest version of lightning and totally lost my calendar. It disappeared and I can't find it.

My calendar with several medical appointments and many important dates for 6 months has totally disappeared. I have tried to locate it in my backup hard drive without success. How do I recover it? I have tried to upload the file name as it appeared but the upload icon just keeps whirring around. the attached file name is "lightning-3.3.1-tb+sm-windows-1.xpi". I have also tried the windows Recovery option for several dates but can't recover my calendar. HELP.

You have a mismatched version of Thunderbird and Lightning. Since you do not say what version of Thunderbird you are running the best I can offer is go to this link and get the correct version of Lightning.

The version of Lightning that you reference above is a Beta version so unless you are running beta Thunderbird is is not correct.

Firewire does not function after uninstalling macfuse and an out of date version of NTFS32 and then installed latest version of Tuxera NTFS for Mac.

I purchased a 3TB HDD (WD USB 3.0 $100) to replace the 2TB Seagate for a new Time Machine HDD. The 2B was full and backups were deleting older files. The 3TB was formatted NTFS and I want to "recover" the included SW before I reformatted the HDD for the iMac. I discovered that MacFuse was out of date and unsupported and my NTFS-32 was also out of date so I uninstalled both and then installed the most recent version of Tuxera NTFS for Mac. I rebooted and discovered that the FW800 port was unresponsive. Below is the EtreCheck report:

I need to create a total per line and then a grand total

I have a report where I am getting counts. I have created totals per column by using a summary column.
Now how do I get totals per line and then a grand total.
I am not sure how to total the summary columns. I thought I could create a paramerter
and in a formula column sum up the summary columns but I am getting errors.
Is this correct for this.

Need help getting totals. does nvl(' ',0) return a numeric 0 ?

Rather than do that, which means starting over from scratch, losing all your edits, organisation and so on, why not simply use iPhoto Library Manager to revert the Library to the older version? Easier, less destructive.

If you really want to start over: you can access the Originals folder simply by going to your Pictures Folder and finding the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.

Is flash version of IE and FF compatible?

(flash ver 6.0.79), but failed in Firefox 2 (flash ver 6.0.79).
Isn't that the version from IE and Firefox are the same?

Will iPhoto 6 work with an older version of iMovie and iDVD?

Some time ago, I upgraded from iLife 4 to iLife 6 and iPhoto 6 works great, but when I try to use iMovie 6 or iDVD 6 they will not work, either because the processor speed is too slow or the OSX (10.3.9) is too old. Is it possible to use iPhoto 6 (I like the editing features) with the older versions of iMovie and iDVD from iLife04.

Requirements for iPhone 5:
Syncing with iTunes on a Mac or PC requires:
Mac: OS X v10.6.8 or later
PC: Windows 7; Windows Vista; or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 3 or later
iTunes 10.7 or later
The highest version of iTunes you can install is 10.6.3 which will not sync with the iPhone 5.

First, are you positive it is really not there? Have you looked in your iTunes folder in your Music folder, and in the media folders there? Do you see your media files?
If your media are gone it is a lot easier to restore from a proper computer backup. Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

The file format used by the iOS versions of the iWork apps can only be read by the new iWork apps on your Mac - i.e. Keynote 6, Pages 5 & Numbers 3. Those versions for the Mac require Mavericks, OS X 10.9. The "too old" error on a Mac comes if you are trying to open an iWork '08 or earlier file in the newest apps. If you do have the newest apps you can open the files from your iPad.
If you can't or don't want to upgrade to Mavericks & the newest iWork apps your best option would be to export/share the files from the iPad to a type an older version of iWork can read such as Word, text, Excel, etc.
Or contact AppleCare. They made this mess, let them fix it.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

I appreciate that re-downloading is only available in the US and then only with certain content. However content that cannot be re-downloaded is not offered for purchase on the Apple TV.

On Windows XP Firefox shows the menu bar by default and not the orange Firefox menu button that is shown when the menu bar is hidden.<br />
The menu bar is the toolbar at the top that shows menu items like File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help.<br />
You can press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily in case this bar is hidden (View > Toolbars or Firefox > Options).
The Navigation Toolbar shows the Back and forward button and the input field where you type the address of a site that you want to visit (aka location bar) and also has a search bar where you can type items that you want to look up with a search engine (Google).

Twitter doesn't even give me the option to accept the risks at all and shows this error (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer). I've tried resetting Firefox, I've checked the time and date, and I've removed and added Firefox to see if that would work. ok, unfortunately the fiddler2.com issuer in certificates might be a sign of unwanted software present on your pc that is intercepting secure network traffic. please go into the system control panel and uninstall programs like BrowserSafeguard, BrowserSafe, SafeGuard or other software that sounds suspicious and didn't get installed by you intentionally.
