Version 33.03 Upgrade for Max OS 10.7.5 - Bug Has Data in Danger - Urgent Help Needed
After upgrading to 33.03, I get an error message whenever I try to quit or restart saying "Cancel All Downloads? If you quit now, 72 downloads will be canceled. Are you sure you want to quit?" with buttons saying "Don't Quit" and "Cancel 72 Downloads"
I absolutely do NOT want to cancel ANY downloads, but I seem to be stuck. There is some urgency because my area in Maryland has frequent power failures, and the least short-term power fluctuation will cause my iMac to restart, causing me to lose hours of choosing and downloading graphics files. What can I do?
I found an easier way. In the Tools/Downloads window, all the problem downloads are shown with progress bars making no progress, and marked with an X. Clicking on the X cancels the download and reveals the web site it is being downloaded from. The X also changes to the Reload symbol. You can then use the Command-Shift-4 command to copy all the windows with problem download file name/web site combinations to the desktop. Then force Firefox to quit to prevent it from clearing all downloads, and many of the "stuck" downloads will be recovered when Firefox is launched again. You can then check the download list against the screen shot window(s) to see which files have been recovered, and which missing files you want to try downloading again.
By the way, my UPS is getting a bit long in the tooth. I bought it new with my G4 system, and its been in place without a thought through my G5 system, and now my iMac. Thanks for bringing it up.

I had this, and after a large number of fruitless attempts, I had to reload Windows, which solved it. This was of course a real pain, but I had to do it since updating iTunes was necessary in order to get the new iOS version. But before doing such a drastic thing, you could try to restore Windows to a previous point in time by picking a restore point. This of course presumes that you really have some issues with your Windows (which I had) and that you can make a decent guess on when the system was ok (which I couldn't), i.e that you can decide a good date to restore to.

I need some urgent help regarding getting use defined tag in your

I would prefer to use plain XSL-Transformations, because you have a lot more options to transform your source and you can even better determine, how your output should looks like.

Urgent help needed while applying patch for upgrade with conflicts
I try to upgrade 11.2.0.2 to 11.2.0.3 on LInux environment.
I have to apply patch P1253900 before the upgrade per oracle doc.
however I got following conflict:

Same thing happened to photoshop, which I use very often and on the net I found the solution, desactivating version cue
But in in design I read all I could but I cannot fix it. I read some solutions here for MAC. I upgraded the last in design that gave me a 3.1.0 version but it crashed again. I dont know what to do and Im very delayed with the deadline

So Its a general crash for CS3 maybe the suit needs a certain update I did not dod. The thing is the solution for Photoshop worked for PC but the rest of talks are more about Mac.

Urgent help need. DB is crashed. To save it I try to Upgrade from Oracle XE

We have DB on Oracle XE 10.2.0.1. PC (Windows XP) was reboot and DB don’t start with C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\flash_recovery_area\XE\ONLINELOG\O1_MF_2_6YJ6WJX9_.LOG file. It is crashed with 0600 internal error. I have deleted this file and start DB with reset logs and “*._allow_resetlogs_corruption=TRUE” in initXE.ora. DB is crashed too. I have tested all DBF files by dbv – all files are valid.
I have installed Oracle XE 11.2.0.2 and opened my DB in it with “startup upgrade”. DB is opened but I receive “ORA-04023: Object SYS.STANDARD could not be validated or authorized” and view ALL_OBJECTS is invalid. So I cannot export my data from DB (exp.exe also shows this error).
I have read and try o lot of advice from Inet but I still have this error.
I cannot export data by SQLDeveloper or Quest Toad for Oracle because view ALL_OBJECTS is invalid. But I can select data from my tables in SqlPlus.
Our company will pay you for your help.

Thanks.When you get ora 600 error you should contact oracle support. Also you should not use undocumented parameters.
Looks like you have done so many things and only a valid consistent backup can save you.

Urgent Help need on 2621XM memory upgrade
Hi,
Let describe step by step as below:
1. I bought one 2621XM with default 96MB memory. everything was OK.
2. I bought 2 128MB DRAM module for 2600XM series and installed both on the router.
3. When it starts to boot, retruns an error that says has problem with 256MB of memory.
4. I did some search and found at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps259/prod_bulletin0900aecd801e3d53.html that i have to buy BOOT-2600XM-256 ROMMon because the current ROMMon is 12.2(7r).
5. I installed proper ROMMon and now ver. of ROMMon is 12.2(8r), also installed IOS 12.3(11)T.
6.It boots and show 256MB memory but can not detect none of the Fastethernet interfaces. When i install original memories ( 96-MB ) , everything comes back OK.
Please help me what is wrong with that.

If you want to call the subVI with the dial position as a parameter, just make a connector for it.
If you want to read the dial position from within the subVI, make a connector for a reference to the control and read the value in the subVI via a value property.

firstly i made a jtable to adds and deletes rows and passes the the data to the table model from some textfields. then i wanted to add a tablemoselistener method in order to change the value in the columns 1,2,3,4 and set the result of them in the column 5. when i added that portion of code the buttons that added and deleted rows had problems to function correctly..they dont work at all..can somebody have a look in my code and see wot is wrong..thanx in advance..

Your add and delete row buttons are not working because you haven't registered your action listener with these buttons.
I have modifide your code and now it works fine. Just put some validation code for the textboxes becuase it throws exception when user presses add button without entering anything.

Urgent Help Needed for WVC210 camera setup :)
Please help! I am trying to set up a Cisco WVC210 surveilance camera at one of the stores owned by the company I work for. Its a small business and I am the closest they have to an I.T person !! I have plenty of experience with software but not much on networking so need some idiot proof guidance ! The "administrative guide" is not worth the paper it is printed on!!
The store has a fixed IP address of 212.9.##.### I connected the camera using ethernet cable. Set the camera up using the software for the camera, with static ip address of 192.168.0.23. Set the SSID of the camera to that of the router (a Netgear one). It worked fine. I went to unplug so I could have it wireless and NOTHING !! It did work one time (no idea what i did differently!) but it would not work over the internet which is what we need it to do! I need the whole thing password protected too!
Is there ANYONE who can help me please??? I am at the point of running away from my work and never returning !!!! :s

Thank you for posting. In order to make the camera connect wirelessly, first set up the wireless settings in the camera to match the router. I usually open the router configuration page and copy and paste the SSID and Security Passphrase to the camera to avoid error. The next step is to unplug the ethernet cable and power cord from the camera. Then plug only the power back in and the camera should connect wirelessly.
For remote access to the camera you will need to forward port 80 to the LAN IP address of the camera. (192.168.0.23) This is done in the router. If you need help with port forwarding, you can search the web or call Netgear for assistance.

Recall for my problem urgent help needed

I am a new DB administrator and I have faced a problem in our database.
Here i will explain our architecture and i will state the problem.
In my org. we have database server responsible for keeping the DB itself. Another server which is the main server is responible to control the access to the network and making and storing DB backups using a third party software (Net Backup Software). The backups are kept in tapes accessed by main server using tapes robot.
Our backup policies is that the software makes full backup every week and a incremental dialy backups of the DB. The retention of each backup is two weeks. All servers have been shutted down during vacations.
The problem is that when we came from two weeks vacation, users found that the DB is in old state and we lost the most recent valid state. I tried all my best since month ago to do recovery. I decided the point of time to restore and I also use the SCNs but I could'nt reach a solution. I used Net backup, Rman, EM but without a result.
When i check NetBackup console I find a backup available since 28 of July 2010. Actually the changes are made after this date and now the DB state is older thatn this date. the question is: WHER HAVE THE CONSEQUENT CHANGES GONE? around one mounth of work has been lost..

However, your RESTORE script does not specify the NetBackup parameters -- so Oracle doesn't know which channel to use for the Restore.
You need to add the NetBackup parameters in the RESTORE.
However, this is suprising :
The problem is that when we came from two weeks vacation, users found that the DB is in old state and we lost the most recent valid stateA database will NOT EVER "go back to an old state" until and unless someone has restored an old backup. If the servers were shutdown for two weeks, who would have restored the database. If the servers were shutdown, how would Oracle have automatically gone back to an old stats ? There must have been some manual actions.
