Version 8.00c 4.0 - Periodical Reports
When trying to obtain bundle or container reports for periodical mailings via the new version of Business Edition, we only get the same sort summary. Any ideas?

This is actually a bug in the software and is currently being worked on.
The workaround: Change the page height of the report by doing the following:
1. Click Print > Reports
2. Click the Bundle Charge and/or Container Charge reports
3. Click Options
4. Increase the page height by 1
5. Increase the bottom margin by 1
6. Click OK
7. Preview / Print the report
You will need to do this every time you need to preview or print the report.

Mohamed AtefWe can suggest the best way to schedule the job you want in LMS. But you have to share more details on which job is it? Any system job or user created job? Name of job - like Netconfig, Sync Archive etc.
Ideally each job has as number in 4 digit : say 1234. And when the job is scheduled, it runs with an instance number after a decimal, like 1234.1, 1234.2, 1234.3, .... , 1234.n incrementing each time it runs.
To edit, you have to modify the first instance by searching that job in job browser under admin.
In a system job, which is there for inventory or configuration archive, you can simply try to disable it once and enable with new schedules.
Please share more details on job type and LMS version.

If you're on 11.1.1.x (for example 11.1.1.5 or 11.1.1.4), please refer to http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24269_01/doc.11120/e23975/upgrade_from_r1.htm for upgrade procedure.
Otherwise, if you're installing it brand new, download Oracle Forms and Reports 11gR2 (11.1.2.0.0 from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/downloads/index.html

It's "ApplicationCache.db" not Cache.db for Tiger v10.4.11
Open a Finder window. Select your user account in the Sidebar on the left then open the Library folder, the Caches folder then the com.apple.Safari folder.
The ApplicationCache.db file is stored there.
I have an iBookG4 running v10.4.11 / Safari 4.1.3 so I know that file is there.

I am trying to reconcile the Assets capitalised in a Period.
Is this the correct report to use and will I be able to control the data which appears in the report using the FA Period parameters. For example, if I
want to analyse Assets capitalised in Q1 2103 if I use FA Period from = Jan-13 and FA Period to = MAR-13 will the report just display asset capitalised in
those periods?

AUD: Interfaced CIP/RWIP Amounts by FA Period Report to view a summary of assets and asset lines interfaced from Oracle Projects to Oracle Assets.
Optionally choose to sort the report by asset category or project number.
You must run the process PRC: Tieback Asset Lines from Oracle Assets before you run the AUD: Interfaced CIP/RWIP Amounts By FA Period Report.

English Version for field description in CO reports
Hi,
I am using a standard SAP report from CO -> example : S_ALR_87013599. However, when logon in English version, the fields description are not in English. Some other reports do not have this problem. When I logon in Chinese language, it is ok. The description will be in chinese.
Please advise how do I change the fields to English decriptions. And will it affect the chinese language after the change ?

Try imporitng the reports when you are log-on in English via OKD3 transaction. This should solve the problem...

See MunPlan versions: A plan version is created in accounting and stores different cost plans for a project, such as an "optimistic" and a "pessimistic" plan.
Now coming to plan version 0 is verson where actaul cost is updated in your organisation.
Plan version 1 is used for the planning...
How to see the same in CJE5 is suggested by Virendra..
However there is no filed name planned cost in report but the name of the filed is Proj.cost sched.000
with which you can achieve your result.
path is run txn CJE5>give your Project no.> F8> in new screen> F5-->in new Window scroll down in the right side for the Proj.cost sched.000 filed > with select take the same to left side>Enter--> values will displyed for this field in your report.
similarly you can use the other fields as well... take help of F4, to know the meaning of fileds.

Version of client to use with Reports 6i?
I am working in Oracle Apps environment, Apps 11i, database 10g, Reports 6i.
I need to know what version(s) of the oracle client are needed / compatible with Reports 6i. I have another tool that requires a newer version than the one I have installed, but am paranoid that I will update my client and my Reports 6i will stop working. I have searched for compatibility charts, etc. on metalink but not come up with a definitive answer.
To compound my confusion, I am not 100% sure what versions I have installed and am using - I believe I have 8.0(?) installed, as the error my other tool (Visual Studio) is giving me is that I need at least 8.1.7 installed. I also have 10g client installed, but it does not seem to see that one. It has been suggested to me that I uninstall the old version, to hopefully assist VS in seeing the newer version, but as I said, I'm paranoid about upsetting my Reports 6i boat. I have also searched in vain for a way to "point" my VS to the correct client.
Any light that could be shed on this topic would be greatly appreciated!Hello,

(Required Support Files (RSF) in Oracle Forms and Reports (Doc ID 340215.1) )
As long as you install the new version in a new ORACLE_HOME, there will be no conflict.
REMARK : take care to the PATH. When installing a new version, the Directory of the new version may be added at the beginning of the PATH and Forms & Reports executables will try use some DLLs from the "new version" as some DLLs may have the same name in different version.

I have an application which hosts various reports, these reports are all in Crystal 8.5. I want to switch some of these reports to Crystal 11 reports and also add new reports. Hence I will be displaying both Crystal 8.5 and Crystal 11 report in my application. Is there a way to determine the File Format Schema / Version in which the Crystal report was created at run-time so that i can then call the instance of that specific report viewer on my form and display the report. My Application uses VB6.

Yes, use the Object browser for the RDC and search on major and minor version you'll find info on how to get the report version.
If you can't figure it out I'll up date the post tomorrow with sample code.
Now that I have my test machine going again with VS 6 running I looked and I lied, the RDC only returned the version of the engine and not the report. The new CR Assemblies will allow you to get the report version.

I have installed successfully SAP NetWeaver trial version 4.0 After 30 days of trial, it stopped working because of period licensing. I have tried to extend this period installing a NSP.txt file from SAP. A successfull message apears after installing it, but nothing change, the licensing period does not change. And, to do it easier, the user SAP* has not privilegies to liberating my transport order, so I cannot download my work. A nasty experience, doesn't it?.
Does anyone know any solution? Thank youYes, I have done it already. There's one tmp license that I cannot delete, and a row with my new license that I have delete, install new one, success message but does not work.
I have tried to install a new period license before ending the previous one... I guess it could have influenced. Nevertheless I will try it again. -

I believe both are for 32 bit LabVIEW, which works in both 32 bit and 64 bit Windows. Honestly until all toolkits support 64 bit Windows, I still don't see much of a reason to go with 64 bit LabVIEW. The support is just better with 32 bit.

Data Modeler version 2.0.0 - Export to reporting schema error
Hi i have the Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler version 2.0.0 installed.
When i try to export one diagram to the reporting schema, i get the following error : "Error occurred while exporting to Reporting Schema.See the log file for details".
The log file has no errors.
The repository owner is DBA.
The connection is ok.
Can you help me?

Paolo.Sorry for the log. I looked at the one at the bottom of the window, i didn't know of the one in the directory.
I purged the log and i tried again with an account with only connect,resource privileges.
At the bottom of the message you'll find the log.
The java.exe points refers to the one in the java directory of the data modeler (i downloaded the one with Java included).

Is there any way to control Version in Oracle BI EE Reports and Dashboards which are created by different developers and modified as per time and as per requirements.

This is a very good feature that should be there. However, it's currently non-existent. Existing usage tracking can be used to identify bottlenecks and improve performance as well as show who has accessed what. Still, at present time, it's not possible to have developer's tracking. I hope this is a helpful answer.
