Version Compatibility

Question

We have a running application which uses Weblogic Server 6.1. We wanted to download
an evaluation copy of 6.1 from one of our other centers to try and run the same
application. However, on going to the site I find that only 8.1 (or 7.0) is available
for downloading as an evaluation copy. Kindly confirm if the existing application
(which is currently running on 6.1) will continue to run without any problems
on Weblogic 8.1. If any other patch/software needs to be downloaded to make it
compatible, can u please provide us with the URL along with the patch names/software
names.

Hi.
Yes, your application should be able to run without problems on WebLogic
8.1, unless your application use some of WebLogic APIs which may be
deplicated or changed in 8.1 :)
