En general cualquier aplicación de la Creative Cloud, se puede instalar en cualquier idioma, inglés incluido, por supuesto. escoge el idioma en Preferencias del panel de Creative Cloud.

Bridge doesn't open jpg and problem with PS

Hallo to everyone. I work on mac os LION. I'm a cloud member for PS (one year, paying monthly, not extended version). Bridge doesn't open my jpg files 'cause a message telling me I have to register the product (???) . Every time I open PS a window appear telling me mt trial period for PS Extended expired. I have Italian version (multilingual, setted in Italian) (sorry for my poor English, I hope my message is understandable). I updated to the last PS version. No way to cancel the message or open my jpeg from bridge. Anyone may help?

It can be a pain but I would suggest deactivating and reinstalling Adobe Cloud on your computer. Strange problems like this are likely to occur when there was a corrupted file during the download/install process (with any software), especially if you've been having this problem since the begining. Otherwise its possible it could have been a corrupted update.
Try that and let me know if it helps.

Multilingual Braille for Snow Leopard, version 10.6.5

As some users may already have discovered, the latest update to Mac OS X Snow Leopard, version 10.6.5, breaks the previous release of the CeciMac Multilingual Braille package.
As a result, users of Braille in languages other than Apple American English should visit the English-language page on the CeciMac website to download the current beta version, which does install correctly.
This version also allows for Braille input from terminals with 8-dot keyboards, and in the Release Notes folder on the disc image, users will find notes explaining the discrepancies between previous versions and the new beta.
I should very much like to receive feedback on the various languages, so if you have any comments, I'd be grateful if you could complete the Feedback Request document, also on the disc image, and return it. Any suggested changes will be considered and, if appropriate, incorporated into the definitive version of this new release.

Reinstall your iLife apps from your iLife DVD or from the original installer discs that came with your computer. If you cannot do either then you can call Apple customer service to purchase a replacement set. Or you can simply re-purchase iLife's individual apps from the App Store.

Client object model version clarification

All,
A bit of a daft question but, on one of our development systems we have a newer version of the client object model installed and we're not sure where it came from. All of our other dev systems have two versions installed as follows:
Client Object Model 2010 (Microsoft.Sharepoint.Client Version 14.0.0.0)
SharePoint Server 2013 Client Components SDK (Microsoft.Sharepoint.Client Version 15.0.0.0)
This one system has Microsoft.Sharepoint.Client Version 16.0.0.0 installed as well? Can anyone shed any light on this mysterious version and whether there is any advantage in using it?

Localize (multilingual , bilingual) error messages in out of the box (OOTB) new / edit item form.

In a multilingual environment am using variation. I have 3 sites root site, English site and Arabic.
All my lists are in root site with one condition I need to use out-of-the-box forms for data entry. My problem is when I try to insert an item in root web list, it will display English version of new item form.
I cannot duplicate entry forms for each language, because if a new field is added in list I need to translate and update all the forms manually.

I'm missing how your question is related to Microsoft Office? What kind of a solution is this (so that I know which forum to move the question to)?

As project for my diploma, I've created a multilingual www interface on the base of official Linksys source code, I've also created and added polish language pack.

You have to download the official source code for version WRT54GL 4.30.9 form Linksys GPL center site and overwrite it with my files. I recommend moving / removing the official /release/src/router/www/cisco_wrt54g_m/ folder before overwriting it with my files.
It's my first that big translation, and my first GPL project hope someone finds it useful.
[I don't take any responsibility for the results of using this code/firmware. This said I honestly believe that it won't cause any harm , the firmware works just fine on my WRT54GL.]

I solved the below error by editing in registry:
Error:
A Setup failure previously occurred while installing the UnifiedMessaging role. Either run Setup again for just this role, or remove the role using Control Panel.
Solution:
Open regedit (Start -> run), navigate to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ExchangeServer\v14
Under each role, UnifiedMessagingRole, have a look for an action and watermark entry, Delete these 2 keys, and retry. it solve this error, and You can now run the installation again of your "UMLanguagePack.en-US". and its done and installed now.
After "UMLanguagePack.en-US" Installation, i tried to continue installation of Exchange Server 2010 SP3, but I faced the same first error in UM role setup as the below,

Can't do a save as with version 11.0.10

Since updating to version 11.0.10 we cannot do a save as with PDF documents created in Esker's Vsifax program. I have submitted a case with Esker but after poking around on Google finding others with the same issue. When we try to do a save as we get the message "The document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document(21)".   A further click shows "Insufficient data for an image". Nothing has changed with the Esker package - no updates, etc. I can do a save as on an older laptop with version 11.0.9 so it does seem to point to the reader program. Please help

A "quick" fix that worked for me was to uninstall Adobe... then download the base install for Adobe Reader 11.0.
Then download each of the individual updates and run them sequentially.
I've installed back up to the last security update which is version 08 and have been able to do normal Save As operations.
You will have to disable automatic updates in order to stay at version 08 until Adobe resolves this issue in a later release.

BPM 7.2, analytics, multilingual support

Good day!
We are creating reports by using new BI content and we have a questions about multilingual support.
As we can see the task definition name of a BPM task is the physical name of the task (I mean it is the name of the file task_name.task). Of course we can use user texts, but they appear as a task instance name, not the task definition. Instance task name always have variables so it's not possible to group task properly.
The problem appears with the process definition also - it shows us the name of the process model...
Are there any options to have process and task definition names be translated?

You can translate processes and tasks texts. Here the procedure for translating process texts:
   1. Go into src/bpmn and duplicate the XLF file.
   2. Rename the duplicated file with for example the locale code at the end (for example: myprocess.bpmn_en_US.xlf).
   3. Double-click on the file to edit it and choose the source language in the drop-down list (for example American English).
   4. Click then on the Resource Text tab and translate the texts.
   5. Build and deploy the DC.
   6. Run at least one instance of the new process version
It is required to run at least once the process in order that the texts are visible for hte BPEM/BI connector.
You need then to extract again the texts from the process text datasource, execute the data transfer processes and may be to activate finally the master data content. You will then be able to see the process texts with your user locale in the Query Designer.
For tasks, the procedure is almost the same. The XLF files are located under src/tasks.
Finally, please notice that some issues were found in 7.20 regarding the texts (text bundles are not packaged and are therefore not deployed). Fixes and patches are in preparation (see note 1412368).

PS: When the process or task texts are translated, the default texts - the one defined when the process or the task was created - are no more extracted. It's therefore recommended to create an additional XLF file with the same locale than the DC locale.

I need to store and retrieve data into a AL32UTF8 database without losing language attributed.
I am using DBMS_XMLDOM.getnodevalue (); to fetch the XML stored in a CLOB column
But the package returns VARCHAR2 .How do i return NVARCHAR2 so that i can store Multilingual data

Multilingual Issue/Confusion for PT849/FSCM90 ML install

Hello,
Recently I've installed a PT8.49, FSCM 9.0 with FSCM 9.0 ML. But there're several steps fails or I was confused at.
Here's the main procedure of the installation I went throu.
1. Install WebLogic/Tuxedo
2. Instal PT8.49/FSCM 9.0/FSCM 9.0ML
3. Manually create Oracle DB (follow the Manually DB setup on Unix section of Official installation guide.)
4. Setup App Server
5. PIA setup/Batch server setup
Here's the issue i met with:
During the step 3, manually create Oracle DB, after applying some dms/sql scripts & copying several projects, I went into the point that need to update the PT system msg for multilingual to run the pt849tlsXXX.dms for each LANGUAGE_CD(after applying pt849tls.dms). As it's supposed to apply all the multilingual, I ran the scripts from pt849tlsara to pt849tlszht one by one for each language, but some of the pt849tlsXXX encountered with the same error while applying the data mover scripts:

File: Data MoverSQL error. Stmt #: 0 Error Position: 0 Return: 805 - ORA-00001: unique constraint (SYSADM.PS_PSFILEDEFN) violated
Failed SQL stmt:INSERT INTO PSFILEDEFN (FILEID, USERFILENAME, OBJECTOWNERID, VERSION, LASTUPDDTTM, LASTUPDOPRID) VALUES (:1, :2, :3, :4, TO_TIMESTAMP(:5,'YYYY-MM-DD-HH24.MI.SS.FF'), :6)
Error: SQL unable to commit transaction for PSFILEDEFN
The Import PSFILEDEFN is at the bottom of the scripts and all other importing before PSFILEDEFN was successful. Here's the Language which encountered with this issue: CFR, DUT, ESP, FRA, GER, JPN, POR, ZHS; ALL other language ran successfully without error msg.
For installation, I skipped this and continued. BUT i have no idea why it failed, is that a bug or some steps stuck, anyone can help?
Here's the confusion about multilingual:
In the installation official guide, it wrote that PPLTLSML is only for french, and Non-french multilingual is using the project PPLTLS84CURML.
During the Step 3, after copying the project PPLTLS84CUR, I copy the PPLTLSML first with only French language selected, then when doing the copying PPLTLS84CURML project, I was confused whether to include french or not. Actually I selected all languages besides ENG, Common & French for the copying.
I'm confused if CFR should be included in PPLTLSML or PPLTLS84CURML?
And French should be selected or not during copying the PPLTLS84CURML?
However, there're 2 tasks: Running Additional Data Mover Scripts & Installing a Multilingual PT System Database before running VERSION AE, are these 2 tasks the same one with the previous tasks done (epXXXa.dms generated in the initial data mover DB setup scripts, and copy mulitilingual projects steps before copy the PPLTLS84DEL)? Why these 2 taks are put in this part of the doc? As I did the installation according to the doc chapter order, thus makes me confused alot about these 2 tasks.

Thanks, and for those scripts I've run, think the following scripts should be added at the beginning of the scripts a little diff than the one in solution.

Multilingual fields in same database

Hi Members
We are developing a multilingual application with dot net and oracle version 8i or higher. Our requirement is such that there would be only few varchar fields which would be stored in other languages. Apart from that all rest of the fields would always be english. I had a couple of questions for the same
1. Would there be any environment level changes required to be done on oralce server
2. What configuration needs to be done to oralce database
3. Is it possible that the database has the english settings and only the fields which need to be stored in other language will have different settings. I have read about nchar and nvarchar datatypes. Will keeping these datatypes be the only thing required and not other settings would be required to change.

- Trying to support Oracle versions 8i and higher is rather broad. That encompasses 8 major releases-- 8.1.5, 8.1.6, 8.1.7, 9.0.1, 9.2.0, 10.1.0, 10.2.0, and 11.1.0 at the moment. So you would either have to limit yourself to the functionality available in 8.1.5, which is comparatively quite limited, or maintain different code for different database releases. Since 9.2 is no longer in Premier Support and 8i was depricated a long time ago, I'd strongly suggest reconsidering that requirement.
- Particularly if you want to support ancient versions of Oracle like 8.1.5, I'd suggest putting everything in VARCHAR2 fields and not touching NCHAR/ NVARCHAR2 fields if you can avoid it. This will require choosing a database character set that supports all the languages the database will need to support-- I'd generally suggest choosing Unicode (UTF8 or AL32UTF8). That may have to depend on the database version-- AL32UTF8 wasn't available in 8.1.5 and I believe that the old UTF8 character set was depricated before 11.1.
- Column length will likely be an issue. UTF-8 is a variable length character set, so characters require between 1 and 3 bytes (1 and 4 bytes in AL32UTF8). And prior to 9i, VARCHAR2 fields could only be specified in bytes. So if you want to store an arbitrary 30 characters, you'd need to declare a VARCHAR2(90) or VARCHAR2(120) column. But that would then allow you to store 90 or 120 English language characters.
- Depending on the specifics of the particular driver and API you intend to use, there may be some configuration that needs to be done on the client side to ensure that the NLS_LANG is set appropriately.

Installing two language versions of InDesign CC

Hi,
I'm working on a project that requires Japanese and English in the same document. As the English version of InDesign does not have the same level of typographical support for Asian charactors as the CJK versions, I want to know if I can install two versions of InDesign - Japanese and English - with my Creative Cloud subscription. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

You can have Japanese and English version of InDesign on your machine at the same time and there is no need to uninstall any of the version. It is dependent on the OS language, which InDesign will be launched.
Ex:- You have InDesign Installed in English language on your computer.
Open CC desktop app, change the language to Japanese in the Preferences options
Install InDesign again (it will be in Japanese language)
When you will launch InDesign, it will be in English as you have the OS language set to English. If you change the OS language to Japanese then InDesign (Japanese) will launch.

Changing the OS langauge may not be the best workaround/Solution to create the multilingual document however it is to state that you can have InDesign or any CC app in multilanguages on your computer.

Multilingual site with subdomain

Hello, I have a subscription to Creative Cloud which gives me a web basic subscription with BC. I am a newbie to muse and BC, however I have successfully uploaded my new site live: www.costaricajunglevilla.com using muse and BC, (BC is hosting the site) everything works fine. This site is a French version of the site. I want a multilingual site so I duplicated the muse french version, translated it to English and named it en_costa_rica_jungle_villa.muse. (I have not pushed it temp or live yet, cause I’m not sure what to do with it). I’ve chatted with BC support and they keep redirecting me to links like this one http://kb.worldsecuresystems.com/kb/add-subdomain.html and this one http://kb.worldsecuresystems.com/521/bc_521.html however, this is still not clear to me. I will insert a screen shot of my BC. How do I get my subdomain to link to the original domain name site? Then I suppose there must be a button in each site to click from one language to another?
I did create a new A record for en.costaricajunglevilla.com see below, but have no idea if I was suppose or what else needs to be done.
I would appreciate detailed help or screenshots to help me out. Thank you.
PS. I eventually want to add a spanish version also.

I am not a muse expert but with its basic features You wont be able to correctly create a full rich multilingual site with that. I see nothing not missing from those knowledgebase doucuments that will get you going but you will need to step away from Muse into something like Dreamweaver and knowing the system further.
If your site is just a few basic pages a duplication of these and set as the start page and links with a domain though should be easy. But if you have forms and other BC features there is a lot more to it as outline in those documents.

Pages for iPad - multilingual spell check

Is there any way to spell check multiple languages in Pages for the iPad (or the iWork apps in general, for that matter), short of changing the system language every time?
I routinely write in English, German and French. In most apps, including Mail, SMS and Notes, spell-checking automatically adapts to the keyboard layout chosen, and multilingual typing is a breeze. Not so in iWork, it seems.
I am currently working on a German document in Pages on my iPad, and the only way I could get usable spell-checking was to switch the whole system to German, which seems like overkill.

No, you are not missing anything. The last version of iWork for iOS (1.4) is out today, but still has the same problem. Send feedback to Apple and make yourself heard here in the forums. Maybe they'll notice.
I have the exact same problem. My solution is, unfortunately, not to use Pages on the iPad. Every other word processing app I know of uses the language of the selected keyboard to check the spelling.
The irony is, iOS already has a beautiful system to handle documents in many languages, with all the necessary keyboards and dictionaries. The only apps that do not make use of all that are the ones from Apple...

NW CE71 Trial Version Installation Error @ step createAccounts

Hi,
I am trying to install the NW CE 7.1 trial version but setup stops with an error very early. Here's the log info:
ERROR 2007-12-17 11:27:18.341 [sixxcstepexecute.cpp:940]
FCO-00011 The step createAccounts with step key |CE_DevSystem_App|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Onehost_System|ind|ind|ind|ind|3|0|NW_Users_Create_Do|ind|ind|ind|ind|4|0|createAccounts was executed with status ERROR .
I have Windows XP SP2, and try installing CE with a domain user having administrator's rights on the local machine and I am logged on to the domain. I suppose the installer tries to create a domain user which I am not allowed to but IMHO a domain user wouldn't be necessary.

Is your Windows in English ?
Your Windows XP should be in English ou English with MUI (Multilingual User Interface Technology) cause the installer expects groups like (everyone,guest, power users) in english. Check SAP Note 362379.
