can you use an Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 - 64bi on a 10g AS (10.1.2) with BPM 10.1.2.0.2 ?
we have installed the same but cannot see the default domain in console .. on trying to create a new domain get error
this was the initial error ...
OraBPEL run-time system failed to start due to exception:
Cannot lookup datasource type.
The process domain was unable to determine the database type. The version table contains the vendor type for the current datasource.
The exception reported is: Cannot fetch a datasource connection.
The process domain was unable to establish a connection with the datasource with the connection URL "jdbc/BPELServerDataSourceWorkflow".
The exception reported is: invalid arguments in call
Please check that the machine hosting the datasource is physically connected to the network. Otherwise, check that the datasource connection
parameters (user/password) is currently valid.
Please check that:
+ the machine hosting the datasource is physically connected to the network.
+ the connection pool properties as defined in the application server startup properties are valid.
+ the database schema for OraBPEL has been installed in the datasource.

Differences between Oracle BPM and Aqualogic BPM 6.0
Hello,
Does anyone know where I can find information that spells out the differences between Aqualogic 6.0 and Oracle BPM (if there are any)? I've searched the Oracle sites, documentation sections, etc. and I cannot find a datasheet that spells out anything related to the differences between the two aside from the name change.
Thank you.I thought that there no major differences between the versions, only changes in the skin, logo and an improvement in the engine, but I was wrong.
My production enviroment runs BPM Enterprise in version 6, in other words runs Aqualogic BPM Enterprise, not Oracle BPM Enterprise, but in the development enviroment I made the decision to use the version 10 (Oracle BPM Studio 10g), because I thought there were no considerable changes between versions.
So I could not make the deployment of the project in the enterprise version, the log reported that many processes and screenflows of the project were not found, then I tried to open the project that was done in version 10 in version 6 of the BPM Studio and then try to export the ".exp" to try to do the deployment again. When I opened the project in BPM Studio 6 some errors occurred, but no significant errors. I fixed the errors, export the project again and try to do the deployment in the enterprise version and the same problems as before still occurring.
The only solution I found was to make the project in BPM Studio 6.04 (Aqualogic). Now I can make the deployment of the project in the production environment.
Conclusion: always use the same version in BPM studio/enterprise. If you use Oracle BPM Studio in development enviroment, use Oracle BPM Enterprise for production enviroment. The same way if you use Aqualogic BPM Studio in development enviroment, use Aqualogic BPM Enterprise in the production enviroment. -
Green Screen on HP 15 with AMD Radeon R2
I am having a similar problem on a laptop that my wife had just purchased for herself through her college, it is no more then a week old, and all flash powered games and videos are only showing green screens (for videos) and a notice that I need to update my flash player (for games, yet I am running windows8 with the latest IE browser, and chrome)
I have ran the command prompt diagnosis and will link it, any help is appreciated, thank you much,
Thanks again,
The Yermasek Family.

I have a MSI K9A2 Platinum Motherboard. Bios version 1.8 overclocking
I have a MSI K9A2 Platinum Motherboard. Bios version 1.8
AMD Phenom II X4 940 3.0 GHZ that I have over clocked to (17.5) 3.4Ghz
However anytime I go over that to say multiplyer set to 18 (3.5 ghz) it still runs but crashes when running high end games. I know I have to go in an adjust voltages. However, in the cell menu I can't access the CPU voltage areas I hit enter but nothing happens. It tells me Grey is defualt, White is stable and red is the obvious not recommended setting, but again I can't access it. Is there something I need to disable before I mess with the voltages?
I know that doing any of this could fry the chip I have liquid cooling pretty much this idles at 28 deg Celcuis, that is with it over clocked so I know I have som room and know I should only up the vltage slightly. I just need to know how to do it.
I also wanted to adjust the FSB from the current 200 to 270 which I was told is possible with this board and also that is where it should run stable. Again I just need to know how to access these things in the Bios. If its a bios issue I can update to the next one,1.9, but did not see the need to do so. Anyways any help is greatly appreciated. I am familar with overclocking just not with this motherboard. Any user who uses MSI who could offer assitance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Some generic questions on BPM of NW CE
Hi Gurus
i have over 6 years of ABAP business workflow experience and over 3 years of XI experience. Now i'm getting tough with this new stuff, BPM of NW CE. Here i have some generic questions of it:
1. How can i trigger a BPM task while a document, like a sales order , has been created in the system? is there any processes to catch the event of R3 in NWDI?
2. Can BPM consume RFC/BAPIs in R3?
3. Is it possible to make message mapping in BPM? i found there is a 'mapping' choice in the context setting of NWDI whereas it is quite simple compared with PI.
4. Can the BPM be integrated with webdynpro ABAP? or send the relevant tasks into R3 directly? Actually what i mean is , can i bypass java programing while dealing with BPM of CE, if possible.
thanksHi Stephen,
In the first released version of SAP NetWeaver BPM it is not possible to catch events of R/3 directly. Anyway. In case you have the possibility to trigger a web service in that situation you could start off a specific (BPM) process instance that handles the situation.
The same is basically true for the question regarding RFC: In the initial version you'd need to wrap the RFC into a web service in order to consume it.
The mapping possibilities in SAP NetWeaver BPM are meant to perform data flow between different activities in a BPMN based process model. This way you could transform a message that came into the process in that way that if fits your needs in regards to the BPM process (data) context.
Bypassing Java when using SAP NetWeaver BPM would be difficult as the supported UI technology is Web Dynpro for Java. In addition the possibility to add more flexibility to your mappings by defining custom functions is based on EJB, thus again Java.
Best regards,

BPM Configuration Error on Weblogic Configuration
Hi,
I try to configure BPM Directory and always get error on wlst.sh command
weblogic.common.resourcepool.ResourceSystemException: Cannot load driver class: weblogic.jdbcx.oracle.OracleDataSource
My system spec:
- Solaris SPARC 64
- Weblogic 10.3.0.0 using JRockit 1.6.0_16
- BPM 10gR3
The configuration error in weblogic configuration.
Really need help here..
Thanks
Regards,
Eric WijayaHi Eric,
Just checking: Are you using BPM 10.3.2?
Do you mean the BPM Directory Configuration?Yes, I'm talking about the directory configuration and the engine configuration too.
I've configure the BPM Directory to use BPM's Oracle Driver Version:10,11 which is selected by default by the BPM Configuration Wizard but still got the jdbc driver error. If you are using 10.3.2, you will see that there is another driver called: "Oracle Driver Version:10,11" (without BPM!!). You must use that driver. (if you install the latest 10.3.2 HF, that driver is the default one).
If you don't have that driver, then you are using an older version than 10.3.2. Please migrate to 10.3.2.
Hope this helps,

Main differences between oracle bpm 10.3 vs 11g
Hi.!!
Some one knows which are the differences between the last version and the 11g version of the oracle bpm.?
I need to know what are the differences to find out which version to implement a project...
help me..!!11g relies upon SOA suite components for much of the underlying infrastructure.
Interactive activities are no longer modeled using the simple JSF based ALBPM style screen flows and UI editor. In 11g the human workflow engine is used for this purpose - it handles user routing, notifications, data associations, etc. The actual implementation is done in ADF using task flows. This gives you more flexibility, with the caveat of a bit more complexity.
11g is a "codeless" environment. ALBPM style Automatic activities and PBL code are a thing of the past. Business logic is now performed either using Business Rules, or by calling Web Services. There are also adapters for accessing the database, FTP, and reading/writing files on the filesystem. Data flows through the process in the form of XML, some of which is abstracted away from the developer in the form of Business Objects in the catalog. However, knowing XML and XML related technologies is now much more important (XSD, XPath, XSL, etc.)
The Eclipse style IDE is no longer used for design time. JDeveloper is the new IDE. You can also use BPM composer for some online (it's a web based app) project design and publishing.
The Process Administrator app is now gone - that functionality is replaced by fusion middleware control (Enterprise Manager) and the workspace itself.
More details can be found in the documentation:

Need a solution for integration BPM and UCM 11.1.1.4?
Hi all,
Currently, I am using BPM & SOA 11.1.1.4.
Could somebody advise me a solution for integration BPM and UCM ?
I heard somebody said that need to wait to BPM 11G patch set 5 (11.1.1.6) version, which have basic BPM and UCM integration and haven't to using external API like RIDC or CIS.
Thanks & Regards.
Ming Nguyen.Do not use prebuilt binaries, but compile the package from source with the current libudev.
sha256sums=(SKIP)
source=("$pkgname::git+https://github.com/rogerwang/node-webkit.git#tag=nw-v$pkgver")
to build it in the PKGBUILD, use nw-gyp i guess.

Hello,
I am new to BPM and want to transform some of the Business Processes modeled in Guided Procedures on EP 7.0 currently to BPM . So if you can help to understand how to create new BPM Processes and Map the Workflow in GP.
What needs to be installed , what Portal version and documents on BPM (creating Sample Processes.etc.)
Any help would be highly Appreciated. You can download the latest 7.3 version.
Check whether these can be of any help:

Is oracle bpm studio free downloadable or we need to buy license?
Hi,
Oracle BPM studio can be downloaded from the below mentioned ink.
http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/bpm/index.html
But I hope the free s/w is only for limited time period. You can also go for buying the license version of the Oracle BPM studio.

Horrible experience upgrading AMD Radeon drivers
I have a 1-month old HP p7-1418 running Win8.
IE10 has never worked well on this system. (I don't use IE as my browser but am required to test things in IE for work.) For example, some pages only load as blank pages, like wordpress.org. No fiddling in IE10 fixes the problem.
In the MS TechNet support forum, it was recommended that I upgrade my GPU drivers. My original drivers were (dated July 4, 2012):
AMD Radeon HD 7450
AMD Radeon HD 7450D + 7450 Dual Graphics
I made the HUGE mistake of running Windows Update to update the drivers. (I thought I was doing the right thing!) WU tried to install drivers dated Sept 19, 2012 and the result was that I had no display.
I could not roll back the drivers (button greyed out) and system restore also did not roll them back.
My next mistake was downloading drivers from the AMD site. (Again, I thought I was doing the right thing!):
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonaiw_vista64.aspx
The install failed with the error, "failed to load detection engine." (I manually removed drivers and AMD/ATI software beforehand, and with the software uninstall I was also greeted by that same error.)
I managed to manually remove the Sept drivers and restore the drivers from July. However, the driver names are now slightly different:
AMD Radeon HD 7540
AMD Radeon HD 7540D
In an AMD forum, it was suggested that this is a "uncommon and strange config" and that I should "expect trouble again." Indeed a Google search for "AMD Radeon HD 7450D + 7450 Dual Graphics" generates ONE result. Yikes.
The end result is that I *think* I'm back to where I started, including the remaining issues with IE10.
I noticed that the HP site has a different recommended driver for my system, not the version on the AMD site, but this one: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=cp-113963-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en...
Does that seem correct?
I'm extremely uneasy about upgrading the AMD drivers since it cost me 7 hours of work yesterday to get my display back after that fiasco.
Any ideas about whether or not a driver update would actually fix the IE10 problems on this computer? Any reassurances from HP that running this driver update would actually work and not bork my system again? Do I have more headaches to look forward to thanks to this "uncommon and strange config"?
Thanks in advance!Hi:
My understanding is that the video card in your model is specifically made for HP, and only the HP drivers from your PC's support and driver page will work on that card.
If HP provides no updates there, you are unfortunately stuck with the status quo.
Others have had this problem on other consumer and business models with that card.
Currently, there is a graphics card update on your PC's support and driver page dated January 3, 2013.
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=cp-113963-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en...=
That would be the only driver you can try. Whether or not it fixes the issue you are experiencing, I cannot say.
The notes state it fixes a blue screen error. -
AMD Radeon HD 6990 vs Mercury Playback Engine
I just installed an AMD Radeon HD 6990.
I am using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5
My Mercury Playback Engine "GPU" choice does not show up in Premiere.
I tried the hack.
Nothing.
I see my card is not listed in the http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/tech-specs.html list, however older and less powerful models from within its same family are.
First of all, do I need to upgrade to CS6 to even enable Open CL type cards? And if so is there a chance the hack will then work?
And if upgrading is the only Open CL answer - is there a way to upgrade from CS5.5 to CS6 without getting involved in the creative cloud kookiness?
Thanks for any and all insight - I simply want to edit footage within Premiere while utilizing my more than adequate GPU.To be clear...
Using the Premiere CC trial -- with MPE GPU enabled I am fine within the software editing. I do see advantages on performance depending on the effects - but definitley more yellow lines than with GPU off and Software Only on. All good there.
What I am saying is when I am finished editing and go to export a file out - it crashes unless I switch MPE to Software Only, then it exports fine.
Beyond the bug itself, I am also asking if I really care. In other words does MPE with GPU enabled affect anything speed related when I am out of the editor and on to "exporting media". Because it was my understanding MPE has everything to do with editing within Premiere and nothing to do with once you hit "export" which then relies solely on your CPU since you are no longer "playing back" at that point.
Any clarification/conifrmation on this specifically?
Exporting MPEG raw to mp4's which I do all day long for several years now from my current version of CS5.5 with no issue. But remember CS5.5 doesnt recognize my card as Open CL compatible, thats why we're giving CC a go.
As mentioned up front this is a brand new video card for me so I immediately grabbed the latest drivers. Asking for the specifics is a loaded question since AMD breaks down their driver versions into indivdual categories - so beyond saying its indeed the latest version according to amd site and autodetect I can say its Driver Package 12.104, Catalyts Version 13.4. etc. etc
Thanks for engaging me on this. -
HT4407 It will not burn the 32-bit version of the software.
Mac Mini 2012. I've tried twice and it will not burn me the 32-bit version of the Bootcamp drivers for my Windows 7 32-bit install. Where can I get the blasted 32-bit drivers?
For what it's worth, I don't have OpenCL capability in 32 bit Photoshop either, and I have an ATI card.
Notably the 32 bit Adobe GPU sniffer application says nothing about OpenCL support. It may just be something they don't do (though I have never been able to get them to say so). It would make sense for them to concentrate on 64 bit mostly, since there's no Macintosh 32 bit version at all.
As far as I understand it, if you don't have OpenCL, Photoshop will attempt to implement GPU programming via OpenGL shader, so you may not be missing anything at all.
FYI, here are respective sniffer outputs:
