Is this the correct one to use? or is there a update?

Hi. I have set up the trial versions of Photoshop CC 2014 and Lightroom 5.6 (ie the Photography plan) on a desktop that I have added a new drive to with Windows 7. Everything works fine BUT it is an old computer and I'm thinking that it may pack up unexpectedly. These things happen. I want to sign up for the Photography plan but I also have a Windows Vista laptop, and that is old too so I may want to put the apps on a new desktop and a new laptop, having already installed on my desktop. That makes three activations. Am I allowed to do this? Cheers. Paul
You cannot have three activations. It's simply not technically possible. If and when the time comes, you simply deactivate/ sign out on one of the old systems and install on the new one. If the system goes belly up, you contact support to reset your account. No need to make it more complicated than that and overthink it.

Trial version of Illustrator CC 2014 takes over my CS6 old version and forces me to use CC 2014 on launch. How to fix? FIle> get info>won't let me choose >Open this file with CS6. Forces me to use CC 2014 Illustrator which I don't want because I am doing client work in CS6 that I own and I do not have time to try out the CC version.
I also do not like the black interface in illustrator as I cannot even see the layer icon at the bottom. I won't want to buy it if this is all that's offered.You can change the UI brightness in the prefs. Otherwise I'm not clear what your issue is. Handling file associations are operating system basics and you can look them up on a simple web search and from drag&drop onto the launchpad/ dock icon for CS6 to opening the files directly from within AI there sure are enough alternatives, don't you think?

I downloaded the 32 bit version of photoshop cc 2014. When trying to install I get the message that installer failed to initialize and that this could be due to a missing file. Has anybody a solution>?
Did you unzip the entire contents of the download zip file onto your hard drive before running the installer? You need to do that.
I have installed it myself and it went in just fine.

I'm writing a Visual Basic.NET application for a school network. I am new to databases and made the assumption that I need Microsoft SQL Server (I've gone for the express edition). My plan is to run a copy on the school's server and connect to it through
several instances of my program, each on their own computer on the school network. The server is 64bit so I know I should be getting the 64bit edition. However, I'm not sure whether I should choose LocalDB, Express, Express with Tools, Management Studio Express
or any of the other versions.

Based on your description, you can install SQL Server 2014 Express with Tools (SQLEXPRWT _x64_ENU.exe)
or SQL Server 2014 Express with Advanced Services (SQLEXPRADV_x64_ENU.exe) on the 64-bit server.
SQLEXPRWT _x64_ENU.exe package contains everything needed to install and configure SQL Server as a database server including the full version of SQL Server 2014 Management Studio. SQLEXPRADV_x64_ENU.exe package is a larger download than “with Tools,” as it
also includes both Full Text Search and Reporting Services.
LocalDB is meant for developers, with it you can simply create and work with databases from code. Express edition includes the SQL Server database engine only. SQL Server Management Studio Express doesn’t not contain the database, but only the tools to manage
SQL Server instances.

I have just had a large set of updates to my CC Apps, why have InDesign CC, Illustrator CC, Photoshop CC, Dreamweaver CC and Muse CC NOT been updated but a new version has been installed (2014)?

Why Do I See 3 Versions of Photoshop (CC, 2014, 64 Bit)
I recently upgraded from CS6 to CC. When I go to Start > All Programs in Windows 7 (64-bit), I see three entries for Photoshop:
Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit)
Adobe Photoshop CC 2014
Adobe Photoshop CC
Do I need all three? What's the difference?
Thanks!Most probably you just need Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 - this is the latest version. The new CC installer just installs the "right" Photoshop version ... if you run a 64bit OS, then it installs the 64bit PS, else the 32bit PS. The other two entries are the "older" PS (before 2014). Latest version of Dreamweaver CC 2014 keeps freezing or crashing?
Every time I open up Dreamweaver to edit a website it is either very slow and unresponsive or freezes completely requiring a force quit. I am getting the same problem with any site I try to open the last site I was trying to work on only had 5 pages so i don't think it is due to the size of the website?

How to get a version by VBS (CC 2014)
I'd like to get a version with VBS using the CC 2014, but I get an error.
The error does not appear in CC.

Opening projects in CC 2014.2 created in previous version of premiere cc 2014
Hello,
I just upgraded premiere cc 2014 to premiere cc 2014.2. When I try to open my project created in the last version of cc 2014 I am instructed to convert the project created in the previous version of premiere so it can be opened in premiere cc 2014.2 When I convert the project it will open in cc 2014.2 but the sequences don't come with it. I need to have access to the original sequence so I don't have to edit the project again. Thanks for your help.
Bill MartzRather than opening directly, try importing the project via the Media Browser Window.
Much more efficient as you'll have more options. -
Help with installing student version of DW CC 2014 (Was: Help)
I just buy the “ Student and Teacher package” for my Dreaweaver CC 2014 because I want to have a full version. But I can not find any serial number. After reading a note from Adobe (see attached picture, please) I uninstalled my trial version and try to download the new one. However, I can not download Dreamweaver CC again. I aways get the same message “the software is downloading” (see attached picture, please). Now I don’t know what to do and who I should ask, how to complain.
Please, help me.

I can't see your screenshots. But I think you are using your trial ID only that's why it is asking for license. On the Sign in required screen, you must be seeing an adobe ID but that will be your trial ID.
Click on 'Not Your adobe ID'. Next you will see Sign in screen , here you need to enter the subscription ID credentials.

I managed to upload to an external host server (Vidahost.com) but it only only showed an older unmodified version of my site. I used the FTP upload and selected ALL files then tried to upload modified files only. Here is what I received:
'This site was exported from an older version of Muse. Please update to Muse CC 2014 and then upload the site again in orer to use In-Browser Editing.
Some bug in the CC Manager is telling me Muse is updated and the latest Muse CC 2014 is on my machine - or is it a bug in Muse?
Help appreciated while I have a go at rebuilding the site in Dreamweaver.

Using Programs & Features I uninstalled Muse and Muse 2014. Then I uninstalled and re-installed the Adobe Creative Cloud. I then restarted my computer before going to Adobe Creative Cloud and downloading Muse CC 2014. I opened my site at bilyz.com and attempted to upload to FTP. First I tried to upload ALL files but the upload kept stopping and saying it failed to upload but to click resume. Then I tried again but this time tried to upload modified files only but met with same result.
I observed that the upload seemed to be having problems and hanging at 62% before giving me the option to click resume. This stop / start progress continued for over half an hour until I abandoned the upload and returned to muse 'Design'. I then changed the name of each image file from, for example, from 'best%20help' to 'best_help'. After I had changed every image's name I tried to upload again only to notice that the external server was continuing to upload images with the old name.
I cannot be sure if I have the updated version of Muse as I cannot fully upload to the external server which would then give me access to the In-Browser Edit Process.
If you open http://bilyz.com and compare it with http://bilyzcom.businesscatalyst.com you will see the updated version that uploaded without any problems to business catalyst..

Weird Exchange Calendar problem
Since the last upgrade I cannot see my calendar entries on the Pre nor can I add new ones to the Pre. What is weird about this is that I still get the alerts 15 min before an appointment even though I can see nothing on the screen. A guy I work with
