Version of PeopleToolsTables stored in DB Depends on Peopletools Ver or els
Hi All,
I am is in a very strange problem!!!!
I have installed DB oracle 11g, weblogic 9.2, tuxedo 9.1, peopletools 8.49, HRMS&CS 9.0 Revision 1 Demo on my Laptop(all server on single Machine).
When i see my peopletools version with AD and Data Mover it shows current version 8.49.
But my DataBase has been uploaded with the Version 8.50 peopleTools Table and Data inside that comitable with only 8.50 for ex peoplecode is not getting compile bcz many fuctions and system variable are introduced with 8.50 and compiler is might be 8.49.
When i read the HRMS&CS 9.0 Supplentall installation guide there was written that minimum peopletools version need is 8.50 for this Application installation
so that means peopletools table stored in DB is got populated with HRMS@CS not from PeopleTools installation then what is the use of PeopleTolls installation?
I am new to installtion and got stuck with this problem is ther any solution of this?

Try to get your database tools version in sync to 8.49
And for application version 9.0 you dont have to have tools 8.50 and i guess you know this.
my recommendation try find the script to get the database to 8.49 ( i had situations similar that db is out of sync with tools versions and i had to manually get it to right versions).

If I remember correctly I need to export contacts from Outlook 2003 and also the .n2k files but not in newer versions?If you are migrating from an Exchange server, then the Contacts are stored within the Exchange database and not in pst-files.
Depending on the platform you are migrating to and the amount of users, I would really avoid migrating via Outlook but do it server-based as much as possible.
The nk2-file is merely a cache of recently used addresses which is no longer used in Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013.

Where exactly are old versions of files stored on the harddisk?
The way the new versions-feature works is actually too magical for me. For sake of control I want at least to know, where all those old versions of documents are actually stored on my harddisk. With that knowledge perhaps further questions like how to delete old versions become redundant.
yep, ur right. my dream of distributing versions of documents all in one file are dashed. When you copy a versioned document to another machine you get this:
And guess what - there was a message initially where the "No previous..." is that said, and get this, "Retrieving versions from TimeMachine." So that's how they are doing it folks.

Version control of stored procedure
Dear Sir,
I'm using procedure builder to create stored procedures. However, when working in a team, there might be more than one person changing the same procedure at the same time and if update will definitely affect each other changes.
Therefore, does oracle has any tools that allows us to check out the stored procedure and as long as i have not check in the procedure, the other team member cannot update or read it.
Please advise.

Upgraded Palm desktop for Macintosh. Followed std help instructions to put my user data in safe place and then proceed with deleting all old version files.
I'm done with version upgrade, now where is the documentation to use it? I used to have a document folder in PALM application folder, but the new install didn't create it. No manual, no readme files. I do still have the V4.0 CD.

It seems like their instructions to get all the PALM files off the hardrive mean there is no use for what is on the CD once you run a software install off their website. But even this popular solution mentions in 2nd paragraph their are "certain features" on the CD. lost CD sol'n
I have read you want the CD data on hardrive when upgrading, or maybe just keep it for extra files like RealPlayer...

I have an iphone 4g and i am having problems with it locking up at times. It will lock up and give me a blank screen. When I took it to my local AT&T store they advised me to update it. I am using the version 4.3.3 and I have tried to sync to Itunes, but have been unsuccessful. I have not been able to update it at all. When I plug in my phone to the computer, it will not sync at all. Any suggestions?

It is quite possible the battery door may get your phone in working order again. I'm not sure if the store has it in stock, but it is available in our warehouse for $14.99 which can be ordered via customer service.

Version 10.1.3 misses printing some lines. Is anyone else having this problem?
Using Adobe Reader X version 10.1.3 it misses printing some lines but prints perfectly with version 8.1.2. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
I always match the entire project to the footage so this problem doesn't happen.
I have an after effects project dynamically linked to the project. I think that may be causing the problem somehow, although that is also a 1440 project.
Again, I had no problems before. I've done 10+ projects for this client with the same settings and am only now having problems.
I never recommend shooting in 1440, but that is what they wanted for whatever reason. Always 1920x1080p or 1280x720p. -
I play Pirates of the Caribbean Online, but for some reason, after downloading the 4.0.1 version, I can't play it anymore. After allowing and clicking Install, it says I have to restart. When I do, it stays the same (just as if I have done nothing) and I repeat it all over again with no progress. Please, help :)

Trial version of Elements 13 won't recognise my printer. Anyone else had this problem?
I'm running a trial version of Elements 13 and cannot print either a PSD file or JPG file. I get an error message that it does not recognise the default printer. I'm able to print emails and Word documents, so it is undoubtedly an Elements issue.

I have bought 1 MacbookPor 17, 1 Macbook air, 1 MacbookPro 15 , 2 ipads, 3 iphones, and this iMac27 and 2 of iMAC24 or 20 not sure but I do not recall ever doing what you are telling me in your reply. When you get a extended car warranty, you don't sign up for it.. it is just there and is included in the sale. You don't buy this warranty to use it.. You buy it, in case something happens. Here a perfect iMAC with minimum 100 hour useage has a dead drive. That is not normal and I should not have to even be requesting anything since most MFG offer a 3-5 year warranty on their disc drives and I believe that is probably passed on to Apple regardless if an extended warranty is purchased or not. Customer service dictates a more flexible approach to make sure the lifetime value of a customer is not lost due to some misunderstanding.
I was in the MacStore that I purchased the unit..and they found and pulled the invoice and confirmed
the purchase of it in front of me. I had paid with credit card and fortunately it was there in their system. I do not also recall recieving any box or paper although most everything I ever get remains sealed.. I am not in the habit of opening anything since I have never encountered any serious issues before.
I have used my Macbookpro warranty 1 time and that is all throughout the years I have been investing in Apple equipment.
I just recieved a letter from the store asking me to get the paper to them so they can register it... I don't recall getting any paper actually. But I do have several boxes sealed here.. On this iMAC27, it was a hurry up and get it done thing and I don't remember taking anything extra with it. Regardless, my request does not seem unreasonable.

I have made a 11.1.0.7 RAC setup on Windows x86-64 Machines. When we start all services using crsctl. ONS in second node starts and after some time stops. When we check in event viewer
I am getting error Faulting application ons.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module ons.exe, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x0000000000006039.
Then after this if I use onsctl also I won't be able to start the service. Please let me know how will I rectify this error.
I am performing single node to RAC migration using rconfig. Will ONS not running in second node affect rconfig?

How to get the Version History of a stored document?
Hi,
I am trying to store and retrieve the content using Content Services features of ADEP 10.0.
I am able to store and retrieve content where as I am not able to get the version of the document. I am trying to store same or different document, but I donot get the version history or version label. Please guide me how I can get the version of a stored document.
Also, please advise me if there are simple alternative to do the same in ADEP10.

Oracle - how to find columns in a table + stored procedures dependent on th
Scenario:
I need to list all the columns in a table1 and all stored procedures that depends on those columns of this table1. I need to populate column name and stored procedures to a new table.
I created new_table(col1, sProc) and tried to populate the column name and respective stored procedure on this new_table. Code I wrote is given below:

insert into new_table
select i.column_name, name from user_source where lower(text) like '%' || i.column_name || '%';

Result: The scripts run successfully but the no data is populated on this new_table.
