I have installed this version..v4.0736.3.2.1 RM(133) (c)Nokia N73(Z5.01)in my n73 Music Addition.
I have facing Equaliser problem.
Increased the equliser in edit option but its not increased.
it's gone defualt..not only me but all the n73me users facing this problem....so pls solve this problem as early in ur new firmware....!!!!

everyone who has updated their FW to this also having the same problem, i think its a bug.
eventhough u have succesfully edit the equiliser, when u restart ur phone it will gone default again...

Nokia N73 RM-133 Call Problem

Hello everybody !
I have a problem with my N73 device. Since the last firmware update, everything was ok, but after making the update to version 4.0839.42.0.1 (this is the latest version), sometimes when I don't answer a call and appears on screen "1 missed call", I cannot make any calls from the phone book, only by typing the phone number manual. To make calls again from the phone book, I have to restart the phone. Some people told me that this problem is because of the programs I have installed on the phone, but I reinstalled Symbian and I didn't installed the programs anymore and the same thing happens.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Hello Vlad... This problem is not specific to the firmware you have. It's been there from 4.0736.xx.x.x through 4.0812.xx.x.x. It's a bug that's been there for quite some time...

Well I had a N73 before I got myself the N78.
Adv:
- Built in GPS
- Supports miniSD cards up to 16gb
- looks nicer!
Dis:
- never before used SW Version S60 3rd FP2
- keys aren´t as easy to hit as on the N73 but still fine
To sum up I haven´t regretted the switch and I would recommend it .

N73 Model 0543566 old firmware and bluetooth

I am experiencing a problem with my bluetooth audio device (a JVC bluetooth handsfree addon for my car radio).
After using my car handsfree installation (it works perfect BTW), when disconnecting it, people complain about the echo on their side - like I read this is/was a well-known problem with non-Nokia BT devices.
I have read many forums and found out that after upgrading FW the problem is/should be gone.
I have downloaded the software updater but says that I already have the latest FW installed. I also checked manually with model number but the answer persists.
Strange thing is that some of users have FWs like RM-133 v4.0736.3.2.1 or so.
How come my version is latest from 19-01-2007?
Is it possible that for some revisions of N73 FW developing and updating stops or did someone just forget to upload the FW for 0543566?
Is it possible that I cannot get and update the FW on my own but must take it to service center?
Any answers welcome!

yup, the problem is the N73 does not support Phone Book Access Profile... there were others who were successful in DL their contacts by using the application found on the link below...

N73 - SMS Editor Bug

Hi!
I have a N73 ME with Firmware Version 3.0638.0.0.30 (It looks like Nokia wont ever release a newer Firmware for my Product Code 0544952).
When i write a SMS and press 3x "0" to get an line break the phone brings me right back to the standby screen - but only if i confirm the line break by pressing the joystick to the right.
"0", "0", "0", "joystick right"
When i confirm the line break by pressing pushing the joystick to the left everything is fine.
Can anyone confirm this? Is this still the case with newer Versions?

N73ME Themes Problem after upgrading to new firmwa...

Hi All,
I bought an N73 Music Edition when it was in 3.07 firmware version. Now I have upgraded it using NSU to 4.07.
Currently I am facing a problem when trying to switch to some of the themes I installed before upgrade. These themes are not displayed in the Apps Manager.
When I select Preview or Apply for these themes, the phone hangs and only the battery removal can help me to get rid of that state.
Is there any way to remove such themes from my themes list?
(I didn't restore my SD card items after upgrade. I just reinstalled the programs again.)

Thanks dude. Its solved...!!
Actually the theme name was not visible. I tried trial and error method...
There are 4 files in the folders of working themes.
When I deleted one folder with only 3 files, the problem is solved.
The .ini file and the folder are named with some number-alphabet name, may be hex. And 3 files with just "themepackage" as the file name.
I deleted one folder with only .mdm and .skn files and the .ini file. The other file missed some how during the backup restore after last software upgrade...
Also some empty folders were there. I deleted them also with a backup in my lappy. But no errors were found after that...

Type on Google - Yahoo Go - now on version 2. See if your phone is already supported and install it. You have Messenger and all stuff from Yahoo, photos, mail, etc...

According to this it isn't possible yet purely because Symbian 9 v3 is a completely different to any of the lower versions.

I use the online NSU tool and its 100% no problems.
My friend recently bought an N73 too. He only has it one week and the firmware is older, October 2006. He tried the NSU online update and it completed successfully, but when he restarted the phone he still has his old firmware version?

Why does NSU need to download 75MBs of data?

Last time when I tried to restore my N73 ME's firmware to 3.0705.1.0.31, I noticed that it waited till it downloaded stuff of around 75MB! Is there an alternate way so that we can download this offline from NSU, and later update the phone's firmware?
Also, is any new version released now?

How to get the current date in standby display?

My N73 ( 3.0705.1.0.31 ) displays the current date/day only in the general profile. When I switch to any other profile, that place is taken over by the profile name.
Is it possible to get the date/day displayed in a non general profile?
If it is otherwise, the 240x320 display is of little use...

That's the way it goes. In addition you see the date/time on the screensaver with every/any profile.

When i select a picture for a wallpapper,It's not all across the screen.
