Vertical bar Graph to be  printed in smartform

Dear Abapers ,
Thank you in advance, my requirement is I want a print a vertical bar graph in the smartform. This vertical bar graph is
changing everymonth that means a monthly performance report is to be propared where it shows the monthly sales and production of products and this data is to be shown in the form of graph along with tabular values. The format of report they need is in the form of any invoice form(for example) so I am preparing the smartform for this. So, Please tell the procedure with example to print the graph in one of the window of smartforms.
Again thanks in advance.

  • Having two axes in a horizontal/vertical Bar Graph

    Hi All,
I am trying to pull two metrics in the same Bar Graph, but these metrics scales are very different. One is between 0 and 1, and the another metric is between 0 and 500. I have a need to show these two scales in the same graph. I am not sure how to do this in OBIEE 11g.
It would be great if anybody can point me to the right direction.
    Thanks, Neelesh

    I agree with Sandeep.
Use a line/bar graph. The line will have one axis and the bar will have the axis on the other side. you can sync these values or in your case you probably wouldnt want to sync them since the scales are so different.
On a pure bar graph or pure line graph you can't get this functionality that I am aware of.

  • How to print bar codes in sap script and smartform

bar code sheet to print for particular customer when the
    transfer order is created.

    Hi,
You create a bar code or change a bar code in the font maintenance transaction (transaction SE73). To do this, proceed as follows:
    ○ Start transaction SE73, and choose System Bar Codes ® Change.
    ○ If you create a bar code, the system asks whether you want to use the new bar code technology or traditional system bar codes. Choose New.
You can enter a name and a description for the bar code. Note that the name must begin with a Zto avoid conflict between your bar codes and the standard bar codes.
    2. If you have created a new bar code, you must now add this to a Smart Style as a character format. For information about this, see the section Maintenance of Styles with the Style Builder and its subsections in the Smart Forms documentation.
If you have only changed the bar code, continue with the next step.
    3. You can now select text in Smart Forms and choose the corresponding style with the bar code as the character format for this text.
    4. You can then print the bar code.

  • Using the report generation toolkit, how do I make a bar graph verticle instead of horizontle?

The attached vi is similar to what I am using, and it produces an Excel bar chart. I would really like to create the same chart, only vertically instead of horizontly. I have tried all kinds of things that don't work. Is there a way to do this that does work. I want a result similar to rotating the produced chart 90 degrees CCW.

Now the line is just static line, we dont have data field available to draw the line in graph.
is there a way to create a static line in chart and show it in Line bar ombo graph??
    Thanks in advance..

e.g. i created the static line '10' in fx and now using this column as line in line bar report , but its not displaying the line at measure of '10' in chart.
Drag the column to measures section of graph (Line - Vertical Axis) to change this static value create an edit box prompt and pass the value to the column using Presentation Variable (as said by Fernando)

    Hi
Are you using BI query? If yes then follow the steps -
    1. Take Sales org in rows of BI query. & take invoice type & Key figure in Columns.
    2. In VC use this query & drag chart from the output of this query.
    3. Right click on chart & go to 'Configure Element'. There select Chart Type as 'Bar chart'
    4. Below that you will get default option as clustered, there you select 'Stacked'
    5. Create Data series as per your requirement.
    6. Arrange proper layout of the model & then deploy.
You will get required output in stacked format.

  • Display name and value on label of vertical bar chart

    Hi,
i have a vertical bar chart. On x-axis there are Countries: (Italy, Netherlands and so on), and on y-axies there are the values.
When i mouse over a bar, on default is shown only the value. I want show a tooltip with the value and the name.
For example, when i mouse over Netherlands bar, i want to display, NETHERLANDS , 92,45.
I've modified bar.pcxml file adding following string:
    FormatString='%_YVALUE'
I've restarted all processes, but now when i mouse over on bar i see a tooltip with %_YVALUE text.
    What's the correct syntax?
    Thanks
    Giancarlo

I don't think its possible to use this '%_YVALUE' for Bar graphs. Please refer to table 1.1 in the below link for the supported values for FormatString for each graph type:
As you can see, '%_YVALUE' and '%_XVALUE' are supported for X-Y graphs only, which I guess are Scatter and Bubble charts. I tried using other ones like '%_GRAPH_TOTAL' for bar graphs which just works fine.
    Hope this helps!!
    Thanks

  • Bar graph for force control task

    Hello,
I am currently conducting an experiment during which the subject is asked to produce a given target level of grip force using a hand-held dynamometer and to maintain that target force level for a given amount of time.
I want to display a visual feedback regarding this task to the subject. Specifically, I want to show the subject the target force level that (s)he needs to produce and the actual, real-time force level that (s)he is producing. I created a VI in which I do this using a waveform graph which displays two horizontal lines as a function of time, namely a green line for the target force level and a blue line for the real-time force level. The task thus consists in putting the blue line on the green line and maintaining it at that level for a given amount of time.
The reason why I am posting this message is that I would like the visual feedback display to show not two horizontal lines that the subject needs to match, but a vertical bar that represents the real-time force level, and a line that represents the target force level. The height of the vertical bar would vary with the real-time force that the subject is producing, and the task would be to raise the vertical bar to the target force level and maintain it at that height for a given amount of time.
Is there a function that I can use for the display that I want (I notably tried the Vertical Pointer Slide, Tank, and Thermometer functions, but none of them seems to fit my needs..?)? Or would anyone have an idea about how to do this?
    Cheers,
    Ech

    Hi Ech,
I made a little example program. It doesn't do exactly what you want to do, but I think that the format of the graph is how you want it. The thing is, it makes a difference which order you input the arrays. If you look at the top bundle, I've crossed wires to wire it up in order to get the x-value on top. It will always take that first array as the x-axis.
    Hope that helps!

  • Simple Bar Graph

What I'm trying to do is make a simple bar graph, with multiple bars of different colors and do this using an array. I create a new bar, set its size and color, and then create another bar, set its size, color and i've also moved it over 10 pixels so its not ontop of the original bar. And I'm using an array for the ractangle shap, and fillrect to fill it.
My problem comes when I add the object to the pane ( frame.getContentPane().add(blue); )
It only adds the last one, it doesn't add the blue bar. does getContentPane repaint the screen or something, so that the previous one doesn't show? Or am I missing something?
    Thanks for any input,

So my question is, why is the graph shifting across the screen each time I compile it and run it?

  • Working with bar graphs, pie graphs, etc.

I'm working with somone who likes to create pie graphs, bar graphs and other charts. This guy is not a designer and is using Microsoft applications like Excel and PowerPoint to create these charts. My job is to bring these charts over to an ID document I'm working on. The black and white ones are no problem: I can convert them to a PDF, open them up in Photshop, and rasterize them. The color ones are screwed up. We are printing only black and one spot color, and Excel is apparently programmed to save color charts as RGB or CMYK. So my basic question is: what do you do for graphs? Is there a good application for making graphs that are design quality that knows how to do spot color? Or is it best to lay out graphs manually ID, by drawing lines, shapes and bars and coloring in the spot colors myself? Thanks.

    Illustrator.
You should be able to bring your Excel or PowerPoint graphs into Illustrator as easily as into Photoshop.

  • Stacked Vertical Bar

I would like to create a vertically stacked bar graph that shows the following:
I have a group of members that belong to specific 3 groups and have 3 different behaviors.
Group 1: High Income & High Expenditure
Group 2: Middle Income & Middle Expenditure
Group 3: Lowe Income & Low Expenditure
My bar chart would have 3 bars with the type of expenditure (high, middle or low) on the X-Axis and Income level (high, middle & low) on the Y-Axis. The metric is basically the count of members and I would like to depict this as a stacked vertical bar. Thanks in advance.

hi, I found one possible way to achieve my goal
    use the filter.
if there are 3 kinds. create 3 column with 3 formulae below:
    FILTER(test_stacked.no_of_item USING (test_stacked.kind = 'Banana'))
    FILTER(test_stacked.no_of_item USING (test_stacked.kind = 'Orange'))
    FILTER(test_stacked.no_of_item USING (test_stacked.kind = 'Lemon'))
    reference: Line Bar combo, stacked
but if there are 100 kinds, it needs 100 columns with 100 formulae
is there any smarter ways to achieve my goal?
