Very angry when I check in my iMacG5 to the service...

I've got my imac isight for about 2 weeks and it started having buzzing noise so I decided to check it in to the service department in a mac store near me.
The woman who was checking out my iMac was so rude!!! She hold the machine's "foot" with one hand, and because it's big and heavy, one of the coner hit the table! i was like...alright...be CAREFUL...then she turned on the iMac and listened to noise with another guy in there. She said she can check it in and I will have to wait for about a week. Then she turn off the computer by UNPLUG the iMac! Geez...doesn't that hurt the hard drive? I am so angry and I know I should have at least said something but I didn't...I .....regret and am speechless
we'll see how it turns out to be when it comes back...

I can't believe that you let that behavior go uncommented upon. I baby my Mac and while I realize that not everyone will treat it like I do, I do expect it to be treated properly - at least in my presence. I can't imagine what they would do if they were in back and out of view.
Was this at an Apple Store or a local retailer that also sells Macs? In either case, I would go back or call in and speak to the manager.

    What brand and type of disk are you using?  What speed are you burning at?  Are you able to create a disk image of the project?
    Try this basic troubleshooting fix:
    1 - delete the IDVD preference file, com.apple.iDVD.plist, that resides in your
    User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
    2 - delete IDVD'S cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
    User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iDVD folder. 
    3 - launch IDVD and try again.
    NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

    Yes, there's been no updates to 10.5.8 for quite awhile, next is paid Upgrades.

    If it's a core Duo & not a Core2Duo, then it'll only run in 32 bit mode.

    Delete some stuff to make room on the device.
    iCloud is not local storage and has nothing to do with your situation.

    If you already have IIS web server running, you need to run the LabVIEW web server on a different port to avoid conflicts. It probably won't start because the port 80 is already in use.
    Check options.."Web Server: Configuration" within LabVIEW.

  • Why does the persona that I created get very large when I post it even though its the correct dimensions?

    Every time we try and upload our persona, it shows up on screen very large. It seems like the dimensions are oversized and shows up on screen as only about 1/4 of the full design.   • Why does iTunes tell me that I have tons of memory available (30 GB) on my iPad (when I plug it in to my computer), but when I check my storage directly on the iPad (under Settings/General/Storage), I only have 3GB?

    This is driving me nuts.  I need to "rent" some flicks for a trip, but my iPad (64GB) tells me I have insufficient memory.  Checking under Settings/General/Usage, I find 3GB free.  I hook it up to my computer (iTunes) and clear out pretty much everything (audio, video, extra apps, etc) and iTunes then tells me I have 30GB available.  Yes, I hit apply and the darn thing synches just fine.  Disconnect and look back at the iPad, and viola - only 3GB available.  ARRRRGGGHHHH!

    Sounds like you should restore your iPad.  For one thing, that will bring it up to current iOS rev (6.1.2).  For another, that should clean out any junk and further make sure the two numbers you're referring to agree.
    By the way, a viola is a musical instrument in the violin family.  The word you're looking for is voila

  • TS3899 When i check my email I get the message "Cannot Get Mail.  The user name or password for "Gmail" is incorrect".  The user name and password are definiately correct, I can log on through safari.  This worked fine this morning!

    My gmail account has stopped working on my iphone, saying the user name or password is incorrect, but both are definitely correct.  I have tried restarting the phone, deleting the account and setting it up again, and checked that I can log on through safari.  It had been working fine until this morning!  Any ideas how to fix this?

    Turn off 2 step authentication on your gmail account in a browser.   It should work fine afterwards.

  • When I bought an iPod touch 4G, the service coverage limits was less than 12 months

    Recently, I bought an iPod touch 4G 8GB model from a local apple store. I went home and checked the serial number and I found out that the guarantee time left was about 6 months (it said it was to expired on 2 January 2013, but I purchased it yesterday). I don't even opened the seal yet. I called the seller, and he told me to register my product after opening the seal. But I'm afraid to doso by myself because I thought he would just blame me that I blew the guarantee time myself by whatever way or means.
    Now, I want to ask anybody. Does this matter is normal for all new purchases of iPod touch ?

    i already push the power adn home button at the same the and it fixes just for awhile, then it goes dark again. my iphone is still working, when somebody calls, it still ringing and i can hear the "click" sound when i lock the phone.
