Very difficult

I create a new library called wedding
I scan a picture in and believe i tell it to go to the wedding library
It goes as another folder in ther and not directly in the library
I copy it to the desktop
See it there in the library
delete it from the desktop and where it was floating in a folder NOT in the library
I still see it but then I click on it and see a big square with nothing in it but a question mark.....
I look in libraries and see original;s and modifed and data and a slew of other files.
I just want to see my pictures.
Why does everything have to be so difficult here.
If you werent a AMC person before I dont think I would suggest it.
I fear trying to do anything here. I dont look forward to the frustration...seems like I am going to break down for classes but they wont see my scaning pictures in so it will be difficul;t to reporduce problems....
My God I feel so helpless.
The machine is pretty Ill give you that. Friendly? I just dont see it.....

It might be worth your while to have a look at this:

It covers the basics of iPhoto.
Some basics: It is strongly advised that you do not move, change or in anyway alter things in the iPhoto Library Folder as this can cause the application to fail and even lead to data loss.
When you scan your pic, save it to the desktop and then use the File -> Import command and let iPhoto put the pic where it needs it to be. Don't move it around in the Library Folder afterwards. That's what causes the ! problem that you're having.
IF you want to see and organise your pictures do EVERYTHING in the iPhoto Window. iPhoto is database and it needs you to do your work in the application itself.
I suspect that you've moved over from Windows, and are probably used to using an Image Browser to organise your pics. That is: Here's a folder of pics, point the Image Browser at it and see the pics.
iPhoto is not an image browser. It's a photo organiser, a much more feature rich application than that.

Yes, that is how iPhoto structures it's library. A Note about the iPhoto Library Folder:
In this folder there are various files, which are the Library itself and some ancillary files. Then you have three folders
Originals are the photos as they were downloaded from your camera or scanner.
(ii) Modified contains edited pics, shots that you have cropped, rotated or changed in any way.
This allows the Photos -> Revert to Original command - very useful if you don't like the changes you've made.
(iii) Data holds the thumbnails the the app needs to show you the photos in the iPhoto Window.
I just want to see my pictures.
Then look in the iPhoto Window.
Have a look at the tutorial above, and see if that helps. Then by all means post back if you need more.

No, I do not mean just the music. Copying just the media/music files or the media folder creates problems.

It sounds like your issue here is that iTunes can not find the files for some of the songs you have brought into it. This happens occasionally even if the songs have not been moved from the location that iTunes places them on import or purchase. When you try to use the song, iTunes prompts you to find the file, as you have seen.
To find the file, use the information in this article to navigate through the iTunes media folders -

If you are still unable to locate the files, you may need to download them from the iTunes store again, or rip them from your CDs. See this article for assistance with downloading your past purchases -

Try the waveform zoom slider. Recording louder just to get a better visible waveform would be, well, silly.

Hi Tomiwa,
You cannot print from the iPad to that printer. AirPrint and Bluetooth are completely different.
There may be apps you can buy that will enable using that printer, but that is not an ideal solution.
That particular printer has had many bad reviews, and is unreasonably expensive for its features. Considering that you just bought the printer, as well as its lack of AirPrint, I suggest you return it and buy a printer that supports AirPrint.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.
*Firefox > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"

Having very difficult time setting up and running time capsule and airport

I am having a very difficult time setting up and running airport express and time capsule. My time machine is not being recognized by my mac. The amber light keeps blinking. I'm ready to stsrt over.

#3 for itunes streaming. I reset the base station and eventually was able to get the backup working and now my green light is on. Next I'd like to be able to play itunes using Airport Express and have connected to my stereo receiver in another room.

Either connect to the AX's wireless network or connect directly, using an Ethernet cable, to the Ethernet port of the AX, and then using the AirPort Utility in "Manual Setup" mode, make the following changes:

A very difficult problem of JTreeTable

I am now creating a xml editor by the use of swing. I have drafted an interface and uploaded to this http://fungho.uhome.net/temp/SAMPLE.jpg
This interface has the tree with the following xml schema:

In my application, there are 2 enpandedIcons for each element, the first one is for the expansion and contraction of the tree structure, while the second one is for the expansion and the contraction of the attributes of the element. For the words between <content> and </content>, "How are you?" in this example, are displayed in the white area benenth the 'content' area. At the same time, there are 2 columns which are not used in the interface, this columns are used for other purpose.
In view of this, I know JTreeTable is used. However, I don't know how to add one more tree in each node. Moreover, the background color seems to be very difficult to implement... Hope you can have some suggestions! Thanks!

Welcome to Apple discussions.
It sounds like you either have a conflict with a keystroke expander or with Pages built-in auto-correction feature. To test this, try shutting off the auto-correction by clicking on Pages > Preferences > Auto-Correction > then UNcheck Symbol & Text Substitution. Let us know if that works.

You've posted something like this before haven't you. To be honest it seems a bit like gibberish to me, but then we all understand our own system's business requirements best.

Have you tried resetting Preferences?
A logical next step would be to reset your Preferences.
To reset Preferences:
If Photoshop is already open on your screen, close it (Quit). Then hold down Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and start Photoshop.
A dialog box will pop up asking if you want to delete the existing Preferences file (the "Settings"). Click Yes in the dialog box. The existing Preferences file will be scrapped and a new one will be created.

Are you using a standard Windows theme?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Very difficult question.........

This is a question that has not been able to be solved yet by about a dozen professionals I have ran into over the weeks trying to figure it out.
I have a logo that is over a white background that is letter boxed.
I am trying to fill the top & bottom black areas with white color to make the whole background white.
I have tried numerous amounts of composite combinations and all provide great results, but there is a major issue during transitions.
**During a transition, you can slightly and quickly (depending on the lengthy of transition) see lines from the letterbox. This is very difficult for me to explain but you can slightly see an outline of the top edge and the bottom edge of the box where the letter boxing begins. But once the transition is over, both whites mix together and you have a whole solid color.
Does anyone know what the heck I'm talking about?

I'm not sure of the best way to describe it but what you're describing makes perfect sense. The two sources that you have layered are not identical, so as you dissolve and the layers become less opaque you start to see the differences.
Two easy fixes and Brian already gave you one.
The other thing you can do is export the composite you have created and then reimport the new file. Once it has been combined in his way you won't have that problem.
PS... I'd be suspect of those "Pro" qualifications if they couldn't figure that one out.
