Very disappointed by apple for the first time...

For the first time I feel realy realy dissapointed by Apple...
My MacBook Pro has 1 year and 1 month, so the warranty is over, suprisely som days ago start to fail the ethernet conection, I took it to authorized repair center and the result was, motherboard fail but because is out of warranty, have to pay $1,000 dlls plus manwork!!!!!!!!!!!!
How is possible that for 1 month after warranty and in on a very expensive Laptop have to pay again more tha $1,000 dlls, today the value of the equipment isnt more than $1200-1400 dlls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I called customer support and the just tell me that I have to pay that or leave without ethernet the 1 year use MacBook pro!!!!!! I didnt receive even a discount!!!!!!!!!!!!
Isnt fair on a excellent company that always take a lot of care of his users!!!!!!!! I will think twice befero buy another mac equipment because is very sensitive and expensive.........

AppleCare can be added within 1 year of purchase. I did, and at 18 months my HD needs replaced. The biggest problem for me was that the store was very busy and needed 2 days to work through the backlog of existing repairs.

Promotional Bundle Discount - Disappointing Customer Service for the first time ever

I'm a long time Comcast customer currently on a triple bundle package. My promo discount ended and typically I can call; talk to a knowledgeable rep; and find a comparable bundle to keep my rate under $200 a month (tv, internet, phone that I use for business calls). Last week I got a "sassy" rep who was anything but helpful; reading off scripted cards; insisting that she was doing a good job and had satisfactorily helped me. I must have talked to the same rude customer service girl as you did. I was also trying to get a reduction in my bill and her response was to give back the modem that I rent and that would take $10.00 off my bill. For the last month I have had nothing but poor wifi service, having to call almost every day and have my modem reset. Well I hooked up this new modem that also includes the router on Saturday, what a nightmare that was. For more than 24 hours now my wifi has been intermittent at best. I called earlier and spent a good hour on the phone being transferred multiple times and each time having to repeat the same stuff over and over again! I have been with Comcast for more than 15 years and I think it's time for a change, tomorrow I am calling AT&T !!!

Went to Settings where?
If you want to use your exisiting Apple ID on your iPad, you need to:
1. Go to Settings>iTunes & App Store and sign out the new ID, and then sign on the old one
2. Go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and delete the iCloud account, and the sign back onto iCloud using the old ID
You still have not indindated why you are saying that using your old ID originally "didn't work". What do you mean by that? Did you get some sort of error when you tried to sign on with your exisiting Apple ID?

She can't from iCloud without setting up your iCloud account on her phone. But just sync the same apps from your iTunes Library on your computer to her phone.
Your wife should setup her own iCloud account - which is separate to the iTunes Store accounts.

How do I accept the Terms and Conditions when trying to set up an Apple ID for the first time ( using my iphone)?

I am trying to create an Apple ID by using the Itunes icon on my iphone 5s for the first time. It opens up a screen with the 54 pages of Terms and Conditions and it does not allow me to even accept the Terms and Conditions... no Accept option or place to click!
The only option is to Send the terms and conditions via email... which also does not work...it keeps asking me to "try again"... Has someone else had this problem?

I want to create for the first time ever an iPhoto library on my Mac Mini from all of my seperate external hard drives over the years. Instead of filling my Mac Mini hard drive space with all of the pics can I import it to a seperate Apple hard drive.

I want to creat for the first time on my Mac Mini an iPhoto library. I have many seperate hard drives with pics I want to import but are concerned I will fill the hard drive with pics alone. Can I install the pics on one larg (1TB) external apple hard drive and use iPhoto functions still with the pics being installed on a seperate drive from the iPhoto OS?

This is our resident iPhoto guru, Terence Devlin's, advice:
You can move your iPhoto Library to an external disk:
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library Folder as an entity from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
Once that is done you can import directly into the iPhoto library on the external HD.
