Very old apple ID password?

I just purchased a new iMac after my other died (the logic board went bad) I moved everything over from my time machine back. I plugged my iPhone in this morning and it asked for a VERY old apple ID that I have not used for litterally years. I have no longer have access to the email address because it no longer exists. When I went to the security questions it asked for my birthday, which I entered, but it says it is not correct. I havve tried the birthdays of all my family members but none work. Is there some other way to change the password for an old Apple ID?

How can I remove my very old Apple ID from my Iphone 4S as I have created other apple IDs.The old one is still staying on my mobile but that email doesn't exist anymore. I cant rest my mobile as this email address is staying my icloud setting.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
If you did not sign out of your Apple ID on your iPhone before creating a new one, then you will need to sign back in with your previous Apple ID and then sign out. If you do not remember your password and do not have access to the email account, then you can reset your password by using the security questions.

Then i changed the apple id on my macbook and now on my ipad it keeps on asking for my old apple id password and if i try to delete the old apple account it asks for switch of the "find my ipad" and its respective password that i dont know,what can i do?

You can change this in Settings:
1. Go to Settings > iCloud
2. Tap on the Apple ID
3. Tap Sign Out
4. Sign in with the new Apple ID.
If you need the Apple ID for the restore process and don't remember details, you can go to iforgot.apple.com, even if you don't remember the Apple ID.

Welcome to the Apple Support Community!
It sounds like your Apple ID is used for both the iTunes & App Stores and iCloud. If you edited that Apple ID before signing out of the iCloud on your devices, it may be necessary to edit the Apple ID back to the original email account so that you can sign out of iCloud. Once signed out, you can edit the Apple ID back to the new email account and sign back in. Please use the attached article for further information.
If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud
Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

I have a friend who has a very old apple ID (non-email address) and she could not connect to iCloud due to that. Is it possible that she can change her UserID to a email address and at the same time keep all her past App purchases and songs?

How to change iCloud ID to my newly created Apple ID? The old password for the old iCloud ID no longer works so I cannot delete the old iCloud account to create a new iCloud account because the old password no longer works .... can't turn off FINE MY PHONE.

You don't. Apps are tied to whatever Apple Id bought/downloaded them and that can never change.
They will forever require that Apple Id to update. Apple IDs can not be deleted either.
If you do not remember the password for that AppleID you can go to http://iforgot.apple.com and try to reset it.

If the old ID is yours, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
If the old ID isn't yours, or if the new ID is an entirely new ID, you'll have to reset the password for the old ID if you can't remember it: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5787. (Your iCloud ID is also an Apple ID.)

Can't download my songs under old Apple ID password from laptop

Hi guys, I had to upload all my files from my iPhone 5 to my laptop after having to change my Apple ID password after having problems from my old iPhone 4 after selling it. Everything that I had purchased under my original Apple ID password including apps and all my songs cannot be downloaded from my laptop because iTunes is now under a new password. My laptop, iPhone & iPad are all linked together. It seems to be that if you change your Apple ID password you cannot re-download or even update original apps & songs that have been purchased.

My I phone was stolen months ago- I just now realized it was an ex-boyfriend who knew my phone lock pass code. If you didn't activate Find My Phone before it was taken, it doesn't matter what you do, you won't be able to track it. If you have now changed your password, the person with the phone will no longer be able to track you.

Hi Shaniqwa,
First thing I would suggest is trying to contact your email provider and trying to gain access that way, if its like gmail, yahoo etc. They have procedures to get you back into your email.
