Very Urgent!!! - Attaching an instance of a Bus. Obj to _ADHOC_OBJECTS

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement to display a link for an adobe form. For this, i created a step ( and task) through workflow wizard to create an instance of my custom BO (i made DISPLAY as its default method so that when clicked on it, it will display the adobe form). Then, i binded this instance of business object in WF container to ADHOCOBJECTS in the task container. This is showing up as another attachment in "Objects & Attachments" in R/3 SAP inbox, along with the default std BO.
My strange problem is this same additional adobe link was showing up on the portal side as well a while ago(about 2 weeks ago). I tested it thoroughly and it was working fine.
But, since recently, this additional link(the instance of my custom BO) is not showing up on the portal side. I really don't know what went wrong but its just not working.
Can anybody tell me why this is not working ?. I really need to nail this down as i cannot proceed without fixing this.
Anybody, please advise me on what to do or is there anyother way to achieve this functionality. As i said, IT WAS WORKING FINE AND THEN SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING( The link is no longer displayed under "Attachments").

My colleague raised an OSS msg with SAP and they replied that the 'Attachment ID' for each attachment should be unique for the attachment to show up on UWL.
But, the problem i have is this.
I have the standard BO (BUS2089) that shows up as a link in the UWL Attachments.
I have another requirement to show the Adobe form corresponding to the same TRIP (Obj. key PERNR & REINR is the same) as another attachment.
To do this, i created a sub type of BUS2089 and wrote a custom method(to show the Adobe form) and made this as Default method.
This works fine in SAP Inbox. But, when it comes to UWL, the attachment id that is getting generated for the std BO and the Adobeform Link are the same and hence ONLY THE STD. BO LINK IS SHOWING UP.
Is there anyway we can hide/remove this std. BO link from UWL side, so that i can have only one link ?

Any idea how to circumvent this problem?

VERY VERY URGENT Attachment for Opportunity

I want to attach a file using a RFC/BAPI to an opportunity in CRM backend. The file will come in binary format/stream from a .NET iview.
Currently we are trying out the BAPI CRM_ICSS_UPLOAD_SR_ATTACHMENT. The file data that we given in binary format seems to go into CRM tables but when we see the opportunity through the front end transaction we dont see the file in the Attachments tab.
Please help as we want the solution urgently. Once this BAPI works we plan to make a WSDL out of it to be called from the .NET iview.

CREATE_WITH_TABLE of the class CL_CRM_DOCUMENTS.

Attachment issue --very urgent help required

Very Urgent!!!Calling custom OAF vent reg page from JTT page gives error.

1. We have a need to customize Oracle Marketing Online Event registration page (Oracle standard JTT page: amsEventRegistrantsEntryMain.jsp - available via function AMS_EVENT_REG_ENTRY) .
2. We have created a new custom OAF page for the event registration and modified the function definition Web HTML property from "amsEventRegistrantsEntryMain.jsp" to "jtfcrmchrome.jsp?
page=/oracle/apps/xxamw/xxams/event/webui/XXAmsEventRegScheduleCrePG&akRegionApplicationId=540&jttoijappn=OKL" (tried also with OA.jsp call)
3. Now when we click on the Register link from the base (This Oracle standard Register link calls AMS_EVENT_REG_ENTRY and since AMS_EVENT_REG_ENTRY is modified we expect OAF page to render) page it throws "You have insufficient privileges for the current operation. Please contact your System Administrator." error. The function is not accessible.
4. Navigation: Oracle Marketing Super User -> Marketing Online -> Event -> Registration Stb menu -> Search for a "Event Schedule Name" -> Click Go -> Click on Register link (We expect our custom OAF page when register link is
clicked)
Please note this design was tested successfully in an instance but when we migrated this to a new instance it fails. We cannot compare two instances since the previous instance no longer exists. Seems some issue with JTT menu straucture since we are using Oracle standard JTT function. This is a very urgent issue and any quick help or pointer will be great.

If So can you please tell me:
Have u added your called function to the current user? That means by navigating to the responsibility you can access the same page directly, with out doing any transaction? If so then create your custom function with your required URL and attach to a menu ; then check if you are able to view that page from the menu navigation?If these thing is not working then I think you need to create a custom page that will extend the std region , that time hopefully it will work.
Please post your result/thought!!

Help with DAQmx tension measurement and saving to spreadsheet file with NI USB-6218 (very urgent !)

I've been given at the last minute a project at school where I need to do some data acquisitions (tensions) with a DAQ NI USB-6218 and it has
been miserable ever since, I first tried the "easy" way with DAQ assistant to save a given number of samples per channel to a text file
in order to use it in matlab, well...it isn't working : every time in my text file I have a different number of samples, I used the "Write to spreadsheet" function within a while loop where I wired the path outputs to a shift register in order not to have it asking me the path all the time,
but I'm still not getting the X number of samples per channel as specified at the beginning.
So I've been using another method with the DAQmx where I get each individual waveform into a vector of samples, when I look for the size
of the vector it looks Ok, 100 in my case but the problems start when I try to have a text file where each column will represent a channel for
subsequent matlab treatment, what I'm doing doesn't seem to be working, it's really unbearable, please help me sort this mess out.
I'll add both VIs as attachment so it can help you help me, thank you.
Basically what I need is to acquire 15 tensions with a given number of samples per channel (the same for each channel) and then plot it in matlab.
Note the first VI has switches to "unblock" each channel but it doesn't seem to be working, please look at both VIs.
It's very urgent, I could fail my school year if I fail this project.

Hi Thank you very much for your help, in the meantime, I've changed the project to (see attachment), now
it is at least writing the waveforms to the txt file, but again there is an another problem, it seems to be ignoring the
number of samples I specified per channel, it seems to be writing into the txt file for as long as I keep the VI running.
What is missing ? Also I'd like to have a clock for my samples, that is when I plot in matlab I do not just plot random numbers, but the
physical analogical inputs as a function of time, that is for instance the first line corresponds to time 0, line 2 to time 0,001
ect...How could I do that ? For the meantime I got only 5 channels, when I know what my mistake is, I'll expand it to 15 channels.

SAPscript Output Problem - Very Urgent - Please help

I am having the following problem with SAPscript.
In the Main Window, I have instructions to the printer in the ZPL2 language (For Zebra Printer).
There are also several variables, which are highlighted in Gray and enclosed in the&.
There are also several elements all of them empty except for the one where this code is.
Now, I received this program to modify in terms of code and the output.
IF you have never done any work with Zebra Printing, the way it is done is that you create a label using the Zebra BarOne or Zebra Designer program, then output it to an itf file, upload it into a standard text as .itf and copy the uploaded contents to the main window. When printing to a Zebra printer, the Zebra printer will read the instructions and will print the output.
Here is the problem: The config for the output type is correct.
When doing a printing test from SAPscript, I get the right output and the Zebra printer is able to print it.
However, the real process for this task will go through MB02. There, if I create a spool request using the proper method (select output type and etc.), it will go the spool. However, if I print preview or output (doesnt work with the Zebra printer, so I have to output to the Laser printer), it will output the following (none of the following includes any of the ZPL2 code/instructions. Instead, it seams to print the variables contents with the field name next to it This isnt whats its the Main window!!!)

Ok, maybe I have confused others in regards to the issue as well.
We expect this label to be output from a Zebra Printer.
When output through Sapscripts printing test, the preview from the spool shows the ZPL2 code in small font (non readible if a created a screenshot) and if sent to the Zebra Printer, it prints the label correctly.
When output through MB02, the preview from the spool shows the code that I have attached to the 1st post in this thread. If I try to output to the Zebra Printer, nothing happens because the ZPL2 instructions are not even in the preview and therefore, the Zebra printer recieves no instructions. I should not have mentioned the laser printer, because it has nothing to do with this issue.
I hope that this makes the issue a little more clear and understandable. Please help.

Very Urgent! Help!

I have an eclipse application to open a new email message with an attachment (in the default mail client) clicking a button.
Below are my codes:-

You should have simplified your problem by producing a valid Windows command before trying to Runtime.exec it. What you are doing there is testing with your eyes shut.
If you had typed that string you thought was a Windows command, and fiddled with it a bit, you would have found out that the & character is treated as a delimiter that separates a list of commands by the Windows shell. You would have seen the error message that says
'cc' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Sorry, I don't know what you can do about that. But it isn't a Java question.

I am not very much sure about this.
Are u calling a BAPi from WD application?
If yes then the error seems to be that : JCOs metadata is not available.
Please check that ur JCO definitions in portal and make sure the name in Portal and the name u defined in WD application are same( case sensitive).
Also TEST JCO in Portal.
Please revert back with current status and explain ur problem a bit more.

How to send Zip files as attachments !! Very urgent, Please help!

I am sending PDF files as attachments using java mail (it works fine). But now my requirement is to zip the PDFs and send them as attachments instead of actual PDF's. But i don't know how to achieve that. does java mail API support zip attachment facilities? I have looked in activation API also, but i couldn't find anything helpful. even i searched the forums, but no clue. Please, anybody help me about this, it's very urgent.

Check the first "if". If I specify an attachment, then a myme multipart doby is created: one for text and the other for the attachemnt I use this myme ovbject only for attachemnts, because some ISPs have problems and report error in email format if the attachemnet is missing and it contains only text and no attachment.

A very urgent deployment issue about DBAdapter

I have a very urgent deployment issue about DBAdapter.
That DBAdapter is connect to DB2 AS400 Database. I have a developing database (jdbc:as400://server01/TEST) and a production database (jdbc:as400://server01/PROD).
During developing, I used DBAdapter wizard to create it, and import some tables, and set the Adapter to use jabc/DB2DS as connection information for easily deployment later.
Then I deploy to Production. I configured Data-source.xml and oc4j-ra.xml rightly; I set DB connection point to production database. But the DBAdapter still write into developing Database.
I checked the DBAdapter, the imported tables are something like this, TEST.table1, TEST.table2. And there are a lot "TEST" located in DB2Writer_toplink_mapping.xml, DB2Writer.xml, TEST.schema, DB2Writer.table1.ClassDescriptor.xml.
This TEST is refrer to the TEST in connect String jdbc:as400://server01/TEST.
I think this might be the reason cause the problem. As to production database, "TEST" should replaced by "PROD". If I changed it manually, I have to change every time when switch between TEST and PROD. And I also don't know if it is safe to do it? (I tried, and bring some toplink mapping problem)
By the way, for Oracle Database, because we use 2 instances for testing and production with same schema name, and do not have this issue.

Hi Kerr,
The idea is to set up all connections in the BPEL or ESB services with logical names, e.g. typically of the form eis/DB/MyFinancialSystem or eis/DB/MyLogisticsSystem. This way, you do not have to modify code when deploying it onto different environments that serve different purposes.
When moving your services through their lifecyle, on every environment you deploy these to you will have the same logical connections configured on each instance, e.g. for DEV, QA, SIT, UAT and PROD. Only, in case of QA the actual physical connection is configured to point to the QA instance of the systems that your services interact with whereas in case of UAT it points to the UAT instance of the same system.
Maybe your problem is caused by connecting as user "SomeUser" when running the DB Adapter wizard during development and actually selecting objects from a different schema than you used to connect with, e.g. "Test" in your case.

 Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
 exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
 The reason for the exception is:
 You attempted to use a 'NULL' object reference (points to 'nothing')
 access a component.
 An object reference must point to an object (an instance of a class)
 before it can be used to access components.
 Either the reference was never set or it was set to 'NULL' using the
 CLEAR statement.
 How to correct the error
 Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
 If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
 find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
 If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
 keywords:
 "OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED_NO" "CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL"
 "SAPLHRXSS_PER_MAC" or "LHRXSS_PER_MACU04"
 "HRXSS_PER_CLEANUP"
 If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
 notification to SAP, include the following information:
 1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
 To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
 (Unconverted)".
 2. Corresponding system log
 Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
 Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
 after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
 (Unconverted)".
 3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
 program: The source code of the program
 In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
 Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
 4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
 actions and input led to the error.
 The exception must either be prevented, caught within proedure
 "HRXSS_PER_CLEANUP" "(FUNCTION)", or its possible occurrence must be declared

TBS - stands for tablespace
TBS-system - System tablespace
TBS-RBS - Rollback segmet tablespace
TBS-Temp - Temporary tablespace
Instance - The System Global area along with the back ground processes associated together is the Instance.
So during the database startup the instance comes up meaning the SGA has been allotted and the back ground processes started.

Release strategy-- very very urgent

i have created the release strategy & its working properly in devolopment client. The entire thing is transported to quality client. But the characteristics values are not coming in the classification tab of release strategy. I have saved even the view in transport request but still the values are not coming. Can anyone suggest something. Its very urgent

Hi,
The transport of release procedure customizing data can only be done in
a restricted manner. Please take a look at attached Note 86900 and
follow the procedure described in this note, in order to correctly
transport your release strategies.
The classification data must be sent over using ALE. It does not
get transported directly. Notes 45951, 86900 and note 365604 should
help. Please follow the instructions in note 45951.
You can obtain information about how to set-up ALE in the Online
Documentation CD (R/3 Library -> CA - Cross Aplication Components ->
Business Framework Architecture -> ALE Integration Technology ->
ALE Quick start).
However, if you can't set-up ALE, you can re-create the classification
data agin in your target system.
For that you have to:
1. assign new values to the characteristic master data (trx. CT02)
2. assign the new data to the classification system (trx. CL30)
3. verify the consistency with trx. CL24. Please see note #186809.
For more information, please see note #365604.
There is another possibility that you could take into consideration for
the classification is to import them via batch input:
RCCTBI01 for creating characteristics
RCCLBi01 for creating classes
RCCLBI03 for classification

Deploying EJB in Weblogic 8.1 very very urgent

I had followed the logic Mr Mark has told me. But it did not work. Please
the attached files.
1. I had copied all of my class files into META-INF directory.
my SampleObject.jar file contains as follows.
jar -tvf SampleObject.jar gives
.META-INF
.Sample.class, SampleHome.class, SampleBean.class, SampleClient.class and
ejb-jar.xml,
weblogic-ejb-jar.xml files.
I did not package my class files. instead i had deployed it in META-INF.
Further I made one more attempt as follows.
My server is called myserver.
so I copied all of my class files, SampleObject.jar files into the following
directory.
C:\bea\user_projects\domains\mydomain\myserver\upload directory. This is the
directory
where weblogic copies the SampleObject.jar files.
It did not work at all.
Please help me.
I am failing for the past five days . Treat this as very urgent.

I suggest you start with something simple that works. And then go from
there, modifing it one bit at a time and ensuring that it still works. Your
jar tf output is all munched up so it is hard to follow. I suggest you
start with
$WL_HOME/samples/server/examples/src/examples/splitdir/helloWorldEar/
See how it builds the ear and the ejb jars and go from there.
You can do:
ant ear
and
examine the contents from there.
Alternatively you can use Workshop to build an EJB as well.
PS. Your classes dont go into META-INF. But rather than go through the
entire exercise of getting your app working I suggest as noted above you
start from a known and modify.
