Very Very Looooong Save Times!!!!

Hi,
I have a report which contains a number of calculations which is taking a very long time to save (over an hour and a half!!!) the report has
3 lag calculations (by 1, 2 and 3 rows)
e.g. LAG(TargetStudent,1) OVER(PARTITION BY Academic_Study.Id ORDER BY Academic_Study.Academic_Year )
and 33 Lead calculations such as again by 1 2 and 3 rows)
e.g. LEAD(Academic_Study.Enrolment_Status,3) OVER(PARTITION BY Academic_Study.Id ORDER BY Academic_Study.Academic_Year )
Anybody any bright ideas about how I can make it save and/run more efficiently?????

Hi Sue
Can you try saving a different simpler workbook to test the saving?
One thing to do is to ask your DBA to collect the database statistics for all the tables in the EUL. These all begin with EUL5 if using Discoverer 9, 10 or 11, or they begin with EUL4 if using Discoverer 4.
Here's an example: ANALYZE TABLE EUL5_WORKBOOKS ESTIMATE STATISTICS SAMPLE 100 PERCENT;
You might also try turning off the Collect Query Statistics (not the same statistics as above) for that user as another test. It could be that the complexity of the workbook is causing the statistics to take a long time.
