Hi,
Submit FSG Report in APPS 11i. Then go to requests window (View --> Request --> Find). Press "View Log.." button. There, you will get the SQL query for which you submitted the report.

Very Urgent !! XMLP reports not printing directly from Oracle Apps.

Hi ,
We are not able to print XMLP reports directly from Oracle Applications(Concurrent Manager) to the printer.
We have checked the following setups and they are ok.
1. Have a Postscript ready printer.
2. PASTA has been installed and setup.
3. The printer type "--Pasta Universal Printer Type" is associated with the printer and that the seeded "PDF Publisher" print style and PASTA_PDF printer driver are associated with the printer type. Third party program "pdftops" has been installed in the instance.
4. pasta_pdf.cfg is present and that it contains an "uncommented" entry as follows:
preprocess=pdftops {infile} {outfile}
5. The XMLP Report also has print style as "PDF Publisher".
Initially, Step 5 was not being followed and the printer was printing the XML data instead of the pdf output.
Now, after changing it to PDF Publisher, nothing is coming as output to the printer.
I have checked that both the XML and pdf files are getting generated.
Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Please make sure you have pdftops is available on the server and in the PATH.
Please run following two commands.
$ which pdftops
$ which pdf2ps
Please use one of two commands you found in the server.

Very Urgent Hyperion Planning Financial Report Issue

Hi All,
I have a coloum in the last in all data forms to enter comments basically I am using No account for the user to enter the text here.
Similarly I had created a FR Report to view the data along with the comment
The issue is that once I look in the comment in report it not properly visible
say for ex if I enter 3206 -The tax value is high in datafrom
Only 3206 appears in the report.
I am not sure that how the comment is truncated in the report
Kindly please help to provide me the solution

It's properly not visible means, are you trying to view the report from workspace or print preview.
If your column/row width is less than that comment, it will not visible in report full, so you have to extend until coment ends, make sure you give correct format/space given to show on the report. just expand the column/row width long until ur coment ends.
If coment is not visible in the report itself, you can try format the cell text -> righ click-> format -> Replace with-> you can enter whatever comment you want to keep, so that it will be available, but even here to show full comment, you have to exand the column/row until its full coment visible....
Generally text/member aliases will not show full names due to the format only, i am not sure if your issue is different, but i am sure its format issue i think. please let us know if its differnt issue, just want to know.

In your code you are appending new lines at two places and at the end you are trying to display all the four values:

APPEND ITAB1.
SELECT MENGE WEMNG INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF ITAB1 FROM EKET WHERE EBELN = ITAB-EBELN.
APPEND ITAB1.
For the above two Append Statement , Relate the four fields using modify statement in the second append using correct index values.

VERY URGENT!! How to Pass a "% " symbol from form to Report

I am using oracle 10g and passing a symbol "%" as a parameter to the report from a form. But it shows error as follows:
REP-52006: Failed to decode the specified URL PARAMETER1=%.
But it is working when it runs in the Report directly.
Then Why we can't pass the symbol "%" to the report from form.
Please reply me as soon as possible. IT IS VERY URGENT !!

Cannot display the Crystal Report from BW..very Urgent

We are executing the Crystal report XI report from BW 3.50 but cannot displaying andgiving the error messgae as follows....

Very urgent --pls help Report Painter Problem,

Hi to all,
I have created 5 operating expenses report by cost centres through report painter. some for full period , some for actual and sone for budget.
Under one set of that cost centre reports I have many subsets under which there are cost centre groups and then the cost centres.
I want to add one more set to existing set. I have added the set and set contains one cost centre group and their are also cost centres under it.
The table which i am using for cost centre grous is GLT1 and field is RCNTR and for cost centres it is CCSS and KOSTL respectively.
In the above procedure I have two queries.
1)even after adding the set and when i try to execute the report from T- code SERP it doesnot show my created set in variation.
2)Also even if it was showing the set earlier but report was showing zero values. When i clicked on zero amount a pop up arises for plan and actual values and when i clicked on plan values it had value of Rs 255000(for cost centres). then outside why this amount doesnot appears.
PLS THIS IS VERY VERY URGENT

I've just read this thread three times and I have absolutely no idea what you are doing, in what version, and what you are asking for help with.
Do you want to change the message type? If you do you MUST drop the queue and start over again from the beginning.
Do you want to enqueue messages?
Post your DDL and other relevant information or you are on your own. We can not guess at your issue.

Have a big problem with report. Very urgent please help

I have a report rep1. When I run the report via batch thru command rwclient to create a file it failed. I got the follwoing error message:
REP-0177: Error while running in remote server
Job 1413 is terminated due to connection timeout.
It does not even try for few seconds before gives this message. I ran some other batch reports whihc took 15 minutes and they were fine.
So, I stopped running the bad report for the day thinking the report is still not dead. I ran the same rep1 next day I still get the same error message. But this time when I ran I looked at the appserver showjobs (which lists the reports that were running and that already ran). The job number is different But still it fails in 3 seconds with the job number 1413 and connection time out. Can any one tell what might be the problem.
Any number of times I run this job I get the same job number with same error (all this is only if I run it as batch using rwclient). If I run this as online by calling it from a form it returns the results without any problems.
Please help. Very urgent.

You might want to delete the report server .dat file and restart the server and try
his also could be one of the issues we had seen and fixed in 9.0.2.3. Please ensure you have the latest patch applied

e.g. in earlier version we need to use the CGI scripts to do the work e.g. http://hostname:port/srwcgi60/rwcgi.exe?report=test.rep ..somethin like this ..but in 9iDS i m not able to get the url..when i do http://hostname:port/reports/ the home page of reports come thats it ...but how to run it ...

My client is using discoverer 10g with R12.He is using different non oracle applications like BRM Application (database is oracle only) for that they wants to develop discoverer reports.It is possible to integrate with non oracle applications with discoverer.

You're really not supposed to manage a non-Apps mode EUL and an Apps mode data within the same URL. Having said that, I have a hunch you just might be able to do it and there are 2 ways. You can either make the data available to user who login using E-Business Suite credentials or you can make it available to users who have database credentials. The first one is straightforward and you do it just like any other data. Let me give you some hints regarding the second method.
First of all I ahve not personally tried this and you may find that because Discoverer was initially set up in Apps mode that somewhere down the line it will make the suers connect this way. However, the following is worth a try.
I would a new schema in the Oracle E-Business database to manage the link to BRM and create a database link from this user to a user in the BRM database. You will also need to create user accounts within the database for anyone who needs to login and run BRM reports.
Next, I would create views in this new schema pointing at data across the BRM link, thus allowing Discoverer to think these are local objects.
In Discoverer Administrator, you would need to log in to Discoverer using the owner of the EUL - NOT using SYSADMIN or any of the other E-Business Suite accounts. You should log in with the Oracle Applications checkbox unchecked. You can now create new business areas on the BRM data. You should also be able to assign users to Discoverer privileges and users to business areas.
Using the same URL you would have Apps users connect using the E-Business Suite item on the drop-down for logging in and you would have BPM users choose the Business Intelligence Discoverer item.

DVDs are encoded into MPEG2, which iMovie cannot edit. So you need to convert the DVD back to something else. For highest quality, I recommend that you convert the DVD to Apple Intermediate Codec. There is a free tool called MPEG Streamclip that will do this. You will also need to install the Apple QuickTIme MPEG2 Playback Component.
Here are the details.
1) Download and install the Apple MPEG2 QuickTime Component ($20) - available online from Apple.
2) Download and install MPEG Streamclip from Squared 5 (free).
3) Start MPEG Streamclip
4) Insert your DVD into your Mac. If DVD Player or Front Row starts automatically quit those.
5) Open a Finder window. Navigate to your DVD to the Video_TS folder.
6) Drag the .VOB files from the Video_TS folder and drop then into MPEG Streamclip.
7) If MPEG Streamclip offers to fix timecode breaks, say yes.
8) Use FILE/EXPORT TO QUICKTIME to convert the files to Apple Intermediate Codec (or h.264 if you prefer)
9a) Optional: You can deinterlace your footage in this step, if you like
9b) optional: If you know the date and or time of the footage, name your file
clip-yyyy-mm-dd hh;mm;ss
(let mpeg streamclip provide the extension). This will provide metadata that iMovie will use to put the event in the right year and month.
9c) Optional: If you don't want to make one huge clip out of your DVD, you can make smaller clips by using MPEG Streamclip. Move the cursor to the "in" point of the clip, and press i. Move the cursor to the "Out" point of the clip, and press o. Then do steps 8 through 10 and repeat until you have done this for all clips you want.
10) Save the resulting file in a place where you can find it, like your Desktop.
11) Open iMovie.
12) In iMovie, choose FILE/IMPORT/From File and choose the file you saved in steps 8, 9, 10.
13) iMovie will generate thumbnails and you can edit.

Welcome to the Apple Community Diane.
I find that shared video can be troublesome, a few haven't appeared to work as you describe but have done when I've looked at a later date. Hopefully they will work if you give them a bit longer. perhaps it would be a good idea if you make sure they are working before deleting them from the camera roll.
