Vesa Mount for New 27" iMac, does it exist?
Hi,
Has anyone found a solution for mounting the new 27" iMac? The Vesa mount apparently doesn't fit the new computer.
Thanks!
I found this but I don't have confirmation that it works, nor can I find out how to dissassemble my iMac to do so:

If anyone thinks this might work (or better still if you've tried it), please let me know.

Is it possible to reattach an iMac (Late 2012 and later) with a Built-in Vesa Mount Adaptor to an iMac stand? I'll be moving and having my iMac on a stand would be easier then mounting it on my bowling table.

I have an ExportPDF subscription under an old account for which the email does not exist anymore and I have forgotten the password. Therefore I cannot reset the password. I have created a new Adobe account so how do I get the subscription for ExportPDF moved to the new account?
Hi lgmmo,
I think your best best to get this resolved is to contact Adobe Customer Care. Here's the contact info: Contact Customer Care.
A quick Chat session should get you fixed up.

This looks fine to me, but when /dev/sda1 is mounted at /new_root, none of the other devices are mounted....
I don't know if this is what's causing the problem since /etc, and /usr are on separate partitions from root, but
this would be the first time I get a problem dividing things this way (on ubuntu, mint, fedora, et cetera).
So I tried:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 3#p1283343
I get "* is owned by filesystem 2013.05-2" for all three dirs from step three.
None of the other steps have any effect....
I also tried:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=172943
My /dev/sda1 mounts to new_root, so I don't think I'm having his problem.
And:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=166423
I reinstalled systemd-sysvcompat, and I'm sure that's not my problem.
Interestingly enough, /usr/lib/systemd/systemd is an elf file on my target hard disk.
Is this an outdated issue or something? Or should /usr/lib/systemd/systemd be a text file?
Thanks in advance for your help guys!WorMzy wrote:Oh, and /usr/lib/systemd/systemd is supposed to be an ELF binary. Not sure why you think it should be a text file.
I saw another thread saying that adding an entry there would help. I think it was "init=<something>".
WonderWoofy wrote:A separate /etc is not supported whatsoever. There needs to be initial access to a few things there. I'm sure it could be made to work with some initramfs hackery. But it is neither supported or wise to do so IMO.
I'll not do the separate partitions then. Thanks. I'll check back if it works/doesn't-works. -
The 'c' XUSER key for the DBM user does not exist or could not be identified
Hello members,
I am getting this message 'The 'c' XUSER key for the DBM user does not exist or could not be identified' in SUM preparation phase while upgrading SOLMAN from 7.01 to 7.1
Does anyone has any idea on this. What steps need to be followed for this.
My DB is MaxDB.
Thanks,
SrikanthHello,
Figured out the problem. Actually SAP System was moved from actual server to Virtual machine on the server. In this process some of the DB configuration got corrupted. And this activity was done by one of our previous employee.
Since this was a standalone system, I took backup of all current configuration and uninstalled SAP and installed new Solman 7.1 SPS12. Issue is resolved now.
Best Regards,
Srikanth

System keeps looking for a 'server' that does not exist. Is says the old name of my Airport Extreme. Clicking it away (4x) finally gets through.
Other weirdness to report: my neighbor upstairs appears to have a Linksys router network on channel 6. My AEBS is on channel 1 so there shouldn't be interference... but according to iStumbler sometimes the signal leaps to 64000 (keep in mind my own Airport never tops 60)! Is that potentially the problem?
Might it be possible that your neighbor just acquired a 802.11n (pre-N) wireless router recently?
802.11n effectively increases capacity by doubling the number of Wi-Fi radios and increasing the number of antennas used to push signals out of those radios. 802.11n splits a data frame into multiple pieces. It then transmits these pieces in parallel using multiple radios that are attached to multiple antennas. These antennas blast out signals from virtually the same vantage point – scattering the signals everywhere.
You may find the following ZDNet article interesting: http://blogs.zdnet.com/Ou/?p=247
Even if he did not, and you are on good terms, you might want to ask if he can temporarily turn off his wireless, or, at least, reduce the signal strength to see if that will help in your situation. -
I see "Add New Window" but..."Add New Tab" button does not exist in the Window -Customize Toolbar any longer, and not on my Navigator toolbar. Where can I find one to put on my Navigator toolbar, please?
ThanksIt's the "+" on the Tab bar. You can move it to the Navigation Toolbar if you prefer. When you start Customize, the + moves to the far right end of the Tab bar. You can drag it where you want (see attached image).
Any luck? -

Cannot find L6V75AA (VESA mount for 27xw) anywhere
Hi, I purchased 27xw monitors, and would like to mount. According to the product page, L6V75AA is the VESA mount kit for this monitor, but I can't find anywhere. I've talked to HP reps, but even they have no clue where I can buy the product. http://www8.hp.com/us/en/products/oas/product-detail.html?oid=8525135 Does anyone know where I can buy them? Can someone please help? Thank you in advance!
I have also been looking everywhere for this mount kit and went through 5 HP representatives over the phone in order to purchase this, NO ONE has NO IDEA where I can get it from. It's quite ridiculous that you sell a product on your own site, but don't know where I can purchase it from. On top of ALL that, the last customer Rep hung up the phone IN MY FACE when I asked to speak to her manager, this is absolutely disgusting! If It is this hard for me to find out where to purchase this Mounting kit I'll stop purchasing my monitors from HP altogether and discontinue my 10+ years of business.
