Dequeue not happenning From Java after upgrading to 10G from 8i
Hi,
After the application is upgraded to Oracle 10.1.0 the java/jms clients are not dequeuing the messages. Strange thing is they are running fine and doing nothing.
Also ernqueue happenned successfully from one of the java proc and they are not bieng dequeued and proceeded for the next queues.
Anybody, any help.Check if...
1. You are using Browse or Remove mode??
2. After dequeue, Are the messages getting removed from the queue. If not....
3. Have you by any chance set the retaintion time, that too, a long one.
4. Can it be that the messages are getting dequeued successfully but you are not storing them [or printing them just to check] after you receive them.
Check.....coz I do not think there should be a problem if it is not giving any error message.

Page animations not happening from ID- Acrobat.
Hello,
I've got a 67-page InDesign document and there are about 20 pages therein that have animations. It's a custom animation I made where a chunk of text is simply enlarged 160%. I named the animation and used the same one for all these 20 pages. Anyway, I make a PDF from this InDesign file. I choose PDF Interactive, not Print. But, in the resulting PDF, those pages are simply displayed as is with no animation. I've told the animations to execute upon "page load."
Thanks,
PeterInDesign animations are supported only if you exported as SWF. You can kind of use them in PDFs, if you export your animations as SWF, delete original animation and place that SWF instead. Then you will see your animation also in interactive PDF.
You may want to use new export selection feature when you export your animation as SWF.
Or then publish your file as SWF... you will get lot´s of other benefits too. And if InDesign´s native features are not enough for you, try eDocker for extending them.... (sample >>) -
Traceroute not happening to ACE from Oracle Server
Hi,
Our ACE is configured in One-ARM Mode. I have Oracle Serverfarm been loadbalanced by ACE from where traceroute to ACE is not happening.
Oracle Server in VLAN 10 with Gateway configured at Core Switch: 10.10.10.21
VLAN 60: 10.10.60.21 in Core switch & ACE ip: 10.10.60.1
If from ACE i doa traceroute at one of the Oracle DB servers (10.10.10.5 & 10.10.10.6) it's going nicely. But sitting at Oracle DB servers if i do trace to ACE IP: 10.10.60.1 it gets dropped at Core switch: 10.10.10.21
This probem is not happening from any other Windows machines....
Can someone highlight....
Attached the ACE config...some machine use icmp to do traceroute and others use udp.
Your oracle machine might be using udp and your core switch as a security acl to block this udp traffic.

Unable to place call on calls on hold - SIP Trunk from CUCM to CUBE and from CUBE to ISTP
Hi Cisco Community,
I have a SIP Trunk setup between the CUCM and CUBE and another SIP Dial Peers from the CUBE to the ITSP. All incoming/outgoing calls, DTMF-Relay works well except one thing which is the ability to hold the call.
On the SIP Trunk from the CUCM to the CUBE, I did not select “MTP” because when I do so, I am forced to select my preferred MTP codec which when selected G.729/G.729a, all my outgoing calls goes out using G.729r8. This codec works well for most of the calls until the ITSP replies back with G.729br8. When this condition occur, my call simply fails (this is very intermittent and only some random numbers).
That said, I have some issues with DTMF Relay when I select MTP on the SIP Trunk. DTMF Relay only works if the call is G.729r8 all the way from the CUCM to the ITSP. If the ITSP replies back with G.729br8, the call might established but will simply be “voice-only”.
The current setup is no MTP is selected and everything is working perfectly. I am happy with that until I place a call on hold, which when I do so, the call immediately terminate. Could you please help me understand why?
I have all media resources configured such as G.729r8 MTP, G.729br8 MTP, G.711u MTP, Transcoding with all codecs, etc. All MRG and MRGL are configured on all devices and SIP Trunks.
Below is an example of a call that is connected with the current setup:

PM-HO-VG-01#Hi Manish,
Again, excellent feedback. Much appreciated.
I will try the commands suggested above and see if I can get DTMF to work correctly while interworking H.323 and SIP.
But my ultimate goal is to have SIP all way from the CUCM to the CUBE and from the CUBE to the ITSP.
If I enable SIP Early Offer with MTP on the CUCM going to the CUBE, all SIP Invite sent from the CUCM to the CUBE uses G.729r8 as the codec and once the call is established using G.729r8 should the ITSP reply with that codec, the call succeed and I am able to see an active MTP session using G.729 when I issue the command # show sccp connections.
One thing that I saw is that my ITSP love so much sending G.729br8 most of the times, so even if using SIP EO with MTP on the SIP Trunk to the CUBE, when I sent my INVITE out from the CUCM to the CUBE using G.729r8, specially on call center numbers such as 0800 numbers, you will see that the call established but the codec being negotiated is G.729br8 which is voice only (missing DTMF).
I will be doing some intensive test again later on this week and will send the logs.
Here is my question to both of you:
Which is the best way of having a proper SIP to SIP setup all the way that will not pose any problem?
Do I have to enable Early Offer on the SIP Profile used by the CUBE SIP Trunk or should I use the normal Standard SIP Profile? Do I need to enable MTP on my CUBE SIP Trunk or not?
From the CUBE point of view, I have a voice class codec that support G.729r8 or G.729br8 and the DTMF Relay method supported by the ITSP is RFC 2833.
I will send more logs for each scenario. I think that we are getting close to the resolution of this problem.
Thanks again for your support fellows. -
Middleware - Delta load is not working from CRM to R/3
Hi Experts,
Our client is using SAP-R/3 4.7 and CRM 5.0
Connectivity was established via Middleware and initial load of Customizing objects and Master data( Customer and Material) was finished successfully.
Now if i create any Customer or Product in R/3 they were replicating to CRM(Delta load), but this delta load is not working in CRM to R/3 direction.
In CRM Administration console( Transaction code - SMOEAC) R/3 site was maintained and subscribed for Publications - All Business Partners, All Business Transactions and All Business partner Relationships.
Can anybody help me out that why Delta load is not happening from CRM to R/3 Direction.
Thanks in advance
Nadh.Hi Nadh,
for BPs check PIDE settings once agiain, i hope u ve already downloaded all mandatory obects for BP, because u already told that replication from r/3 to crm is ok, so check once again PIDE settings (CRM to R/3),
for Products u ve to manual upload only
for Products
This may be necessary because the data is required in the OLTP System for a number of logistical processes such as procurement, inventory management, billing, financial accounting, controlling.
cheers

Not receiving the 486 message from CUCM to Genesys via SIP trunk.
I have setup where Genesys is used along with CUCM 9.1
Below is the snapshot how it will look for call flow.
PRI----V.G----CUCM---SIP trunk (created in CUCM)-----Geneys server.
Query here is for outbound call from SIP softphone to PSTN, where if the PSTN user cancel the call.
the SIP phone is still assuming the call is continuing and after 40 sec its getting disconnected.
after looking in to the sip traces... it looks like that SIP trunk from cucm is not sending the user busy message 486....
(checked in V.G and its giving user busy)...but in the CUCM its not getting sent to the genesys...
After some time in genesys server itself send the 480 Temporarily Not Available message...
I assume I should get the 486 message from CUCM to genesys when the PSTN party disconnect the call without answering.
Please assist. From logs what i can see is after one min call legs stops transmitting and receiving packets.
You certainly need to check this Genesys support for this behavior , as far as I know there is no problem either with the CUCM or with VG.

WHEN I USED TO CONNECT INTERNET FROM MY IPHONE 4S PERSONAL HOTSPOT VIA USB, AN ICON IN THE NETWORK PREFERENCE NAMED "IPHONE" APPEARS.... BUT NOW THIS IS NOT HAPPENING AND I AM NOT ABLE TO CONNECT PERSONAL HOTSPOT VIA USB CABLE. PLEASE HELP ME OUT???
Please don't shout! Using all uppercase means shouting on the internet. If your keyboard is stuck please say so, otherwise people will think you are being obnoxious.
Now the first question is, when you are saying connecting to personal hotspot, have you always been using the iPhone to connect to the internet? Are you someplace where the only place to connect is available via tethering to the iPhone's celluar network? Or do you have other options? -

Why do text messages from my iPad appear to some people as if they came from my email address instead of my phone number? This does not happen when I send text messages from my iPhone.
You need to link your iPhone number to Messages - and Facetime if you use it. For Messages go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive at>You can be reached by iMessage at. If your phone number is showing there, select it as your Contact address. If it doesn't appear in there, take a look at the end of this article for help.

I have Photoshop CS5, and use windows XP. I cannot open bridge from photoshop, which I have done for years. When I am in Photoshop, when it opens, I always click on the bridge icon at the bottom of the screen and it puts me into bridge. This is not happening, the small wheel at the bottom of the screen just keeps spinning. Its like its stuck or caught in a loop. I can't get into bridge. I tried shutting down and starting up again but the problem remains. Looking for help. Dan
Thanks for your response, I was able to open bridge from File-Browse in Bridge. This worked, but was not able to go back to the way I always opened Bridge. At least I could get to Bridge and go into Camera Raw. I never tried to open Bridge from the Start menu. The odd thing about this is, it has happened before, and to get it "unstuck" and working again, I would shut down and restart again in a few minutes, and things would go back to normal. This time it did not go back to normal after several attempts. I shut down for about 3-4 hours, restarted, and it seems to be back to normal again. I am not sure if it's a problem that is getting worse each time it happens. And yes I am using Mini Bridge in photoshop CS5. Thank you for your help. Dan

I have noticed recently that deleted e mail messages do not disappear from the screen. Instead they turn grey until I switch to another mailbox. When I return, they are gone. Any idea why this has started to happen?

I just got another ipad, now with 3g . I did hope I'll be able to text from it...not happening. The address goes idle/red with a red exclamation mark. I spent 15 min with Apple on the phone. Didn't help. Can I really send texts from IPAD2 with 3g?
The email to which you are sending it to may not be correct. You can only send it an Apple ID with that email. For example, I could try to send it to my friend Bob who frequently uses the email bob@sample_email.com but his Apple ID may be bobby@sample_email.com. Maybe that helps?
