VGA compatible hardware

Sir,
I have installed Cyberlink youCam software in my notebook PC,which is HP  Pavilion G4-1303 AU.
When I try to run that program I get a pop up message 'You do not have compitable VGA hardware or driver to run YouCam'.What should I do?Please reply me as early as possible.

Hi:
That error probably means that you need to install the graphics driver from your notebook's support and driver page.

  • Equium P200-1ED - can't find Video Controller VGA Compatible

    Hello
I cant find Video Controller VGA Compatible
In the main support centre i couldnt find this driver.
Can some1 send me link or something.
    Thank you
    Equium P200-1ED

I have the same problem with my Lap Top, which is an Equium M40X-189. I have also been unable to find the driver, even using your helpful comments and link. The website is denying knowledge of any appropriate drivers for 'display' 'screen' 'graphic' 'video'. I'm also slightly struggling because my PC model also doesn't appear on the drop down list (presumably because it's too old).
Any other thoughts or suggestions on how to find the appropriate driver? Many thanks

  • Logic Pro X Compatible Hardware

I have protools currently and I want to switch over to Logic Pro X so I can use it with my MacBook Pro.  Can someone tell me if my Firewire M-Box Pro M2 hardware interface will work with Logic Pro X?
If it doesn't work is there a list of compatible hardware that works with Logic Pro X?
I want to research the hardware list before I buy the software.  I would really like to use my old DigiDesigns M-Box Pro M2 but I understand if that it probably won't work so I will need to buy new hardware.

This is what Apogee told me that the Developers of Logic X use the Ensemble and other Apogee interfaces.
That could well be true.. but they don't use the Ensemble and other Apogee products, exclusively.... as we could tell after the Mountain Lion debacle with Apogee Drivers not being fully functional for quite some time...
apollo and motu have this but not integrated within Logic like Apogee does
Indeed and a very useful feature that is...
However, I know that Motu are currently working on adding that functionality to their drivers.. now it is available in a stable combo of OS X and Logic Pro X.... Not sure about UAD/Apollo... but it wouldn't surprise me if they were working on new drivers and support for this feature in LPX too, now.
Again, the Ensemble is a very good interface.. No arguments from me on that, but.. my hesitation on recommending it or any Apogee interface whole heartedly and unreservedly,  stems from the serious drivers issues faced by most of the Ensemble/Apogee owners when ML came out.. and the length of time it took Apogee to resolve those issues... which was a nightmare for the clients I have, that use Apogee interfaces.. I really don't ever want to go through that horror-fest again!
    Cheers..

  • Video Controller update (VGA Compatible) on Tecra 9000

Recently, I bought a used Toshiba Tecra 9000.
The computer has WIN XP SP2, and I would like to know how I can update (Video Controller/VGA Compatible).
    Thanks for your help

    Hello Isabelita
Sorry but I didnt understood your posting well. You wrote about some problem but according your description you just want to update display driver. Am I right or maybe I have misunderstood something? I dont see any problem there.
Tecra 9000 has S3 SuperSavage/IXC video card and right driver you can find on Toshiba download page. Install it and graphic card will run properly.
If you think I have misunderstood your posting please explain exactly what the graphic card status in device manager is and what you want to do exactly.

  • Video controller (vga compatible) driver needed

Hi there!! i've compaq presario v6106au, Windows XP, n im looking for the video controller (vga compatible) driver. plz hlp!! send d exact link plz!

    Hello,
I recently uninstalled my disk drive because I unwisely followed some online advice. My computer has had problems the last few weeks and would freeze for a few seconds, then the screen resolution and colors would change. The colors would be really garish with greys, pinks, and yellows and a window would pop up saying my "igxprd32 display driver has stopped working normally. Save your work and reboot the system to restore full display functionality." After I restarted my computer, everything would be fine again. However, I was getting really annoyed after this happened several times in the span of a few weeks and wanted to find a solution. So I typed in that exact phrase from the window and found a forum here:
    http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/R-and-L-Series-ThinkPad-Laptops/The-igxprd32-display-driver-has-stopped-...
The third post down, someone said to uninstall my display driver, restart my computer, and then update my driver. Apparently this person said installing an older driver would get rid of the problem. Since the original asker reported success, I gave this a go. When I did so, the resolution became even worse and all the icons were all too big. The colors were normal, but I hated how everything looked. My dad told me to right click the desktop, go to properties, settings, and set the resolution higher, which i did to 1024 by 768 pixels. The screen was somewhat normal, but things looked elongated. I was okay with this, but then I found out my stand by mode no longer works. I only have two options: Restart or Turn Off.
After googling again, I found this forum:
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-performance/hybernate-and-standby-not-wo...
where they said to go to my device manager and see if anything had a yellow exclamation sign. The only thing that did have the sign was my Video Controller (VGA compatible) which was under Other Devices.
I googled again, and a forum advised to go to the HP website and go to the Support & Drivers to download my driver. I typed in my product # and a huge list came up. Are these all the drivers available for download? None of them say Video Controller. Please help, I don't know what to do and the Stand by option is incredibly important for me. Here is some info about my computer
    System:
    Microsoft Windows XPP Professional

  • Driver Video Controller VGA compatible

    HI Team,

While opening my webcame, it is showing error "you do not have the compatible VGA hardware or driver to run you cam". Please give me solution for this problem.

    Thanks
    Sunil

    Hello Sunil_motukuri,
Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!
I understand the webcam is not working, due to a VGA issue, and videos are not playing properly. I will do what I can to assist you! To start, I believe a manual reinstall of the display adapter driver is in order:
    1. Go into Device Manager, then "Display adapters".
    2. Right-click on the driver and select "Uninstall".
    3. Restart the computer. This will force a driver to be reinstalled.
If that doesn't help, I require the following information to continue troubleshooting:
    1. The computer's model number. If you require assistance locating this information, please reference this website: Guide to finding your product number
    2. The computer's operating system. If you require assistance locating this information, please reference this website to determine your Windows operating system.
    3. Does this occur on certain programs, or all programs?
    4. Have you installed any new software or drivers on this computer, before the issue appeared?
Additionally, if the issue just began occurring, I would perform a system restore. I want you to bring the computer back to the earliest restore point possible, in an attempt to dodge whatever caused the issue. Here is a document on how to perform a System Restore: System Restore
    Have a wonderful day!

This is not a FireFox problem as it starts before I open any browser. As the system powers up. The hardware is yellowed, but if I delete it. It just reloads it and the same error comes back, next time the system power up as before.
The system is asking for a hardware disk that I do not have to give it. Any help would be most welcome.

  • Multimedia Audio Controller, and Video Controller(VGA compatible) are missing on Windows XP(32Bit) SP3

    Hi.
My Desktop Computer(Intel P 4, 512MB of RAM, and Graphics Card  with 256MB of RAM)
Also, My Desktop Computer with P 4 doesn't have any access internet since there is no network adapter is installed. As a result, I would not be able to run the pc scan utility, or  Reader a web-based applet that identifies my GPU or Audio controller
and finds the latest graphics driver for my GPU, and Audio.
I have two Windows XP installations:
Windows XP SP2(32Bit) which is old and it seems it infected by some viruses.
I have installed another fresh clean Windows XP(32Bit) SP3. However, I have two devices not detected well by Windows XP.
First of all, when saying that I have multi-operationgs systems, I mean there are two operating systems installed on my PC(SP2, SP3) both are 32Bit. The first Windows SP2(NOT installed by me) has all multimedia audio card installed well,
and has SCSI and RAID Host Controller shown the device manager. However, only the VGA is not installed on Windows SP2. However, the second one Windows SP3(Installed by me) has VGA not installed, Multimedia audio NOT installed, and there is no SCSI and RAID
    Host Controller in device manager.
First:  Yes, my motherboard has integrated video, and integrated audio card
According to the screen shots above, then
The vendor ID of Multimedia Audio Controller  is 8086 and the device ID is
    24D5.
The vendor ID of Video Controller  is 8086 and the device ID is
    2572.
I AM EXPECTING THAT KNOWING THE VENDOR ID AND THE DEVICE ID WILL LET ME QUICKLY FIND THE APPROPRIATE  DRIVER. HOWEVER, I COULDN'T FIND THE APPROPRIATE DRIVER.
Thus, could you please help me to find them?
I have tried installing a soundMAX card  driver, however, I found this error.
I have checked the other Windows XP SP2(32Bit) which is oder installed, and it seems it infected by some viruses.
However, the Multimedia Audio on that Windows is installed well. As here: I only posted these screen shots to show what kind of device is Multimedia Audio Card

Just to raise one point though, I understand the reason why a lot of people are hating on WM 6.5, but why on WP7? I've had a play around with an HTC 7 and its great. So just curious.
I have an N8 (and N900). I have used WP7 and Android handsets as well as an iPhone 4.
I use my handset as a universal (convergent) device, with some netbook capability. For me I found that the N8's S^3 with added apps gives the functionality I need.
The most recent Android update offers similar functionality when apps are added.
WP7 is a different type of handset OS. It offers far better usability and integration of services than both S^3 and Android but lacks many of the core functions of either OS. One of the main problems I have found is Its core integration seems to be on social networking through Facebook. I have no interest in Facebook and use linkedin and some technical social networking sites. In fact WP7 seems to be a generalist, non technical OS for the under 35's - a rival OS to Apple's iOS.
I would say that in capability, that the latest Android is about 6 months ahead of the latest S^3 (although Anna may level that again). iOS is about a year behind S^3 and WP7 is at least 3 years behind S^3. But, this is not taking into consideration the different user base each OS isaimed at.
My next OS will be Android but I will watch closely what each OS is offering over the coming months - hopefully additional functionality will be added to WP7 but my personal interest is in broad based functionality (I wish it could have been MEEGO!) and WP7 seems not to be focused on this.
