VI Analyzer Results

Oflate i started using Analyze VI's option from the tools menu for analyzing my VI's. Every time i click on Analyze button, it generates the VI Analyzer Results Window and would list the Failur Occurences. I used to go back to my vi and correct them. To Re-Analyze, i'm normally clicking on Done button which generates a Pop-up asking whether i want to return back to VI Analyzer or not. I click on 'Yes' and return to the Select Tests window and repeat the process.
I just wanted to check, whether i'm correct or missing something? I mean is there any button/procedure which allows me to Re-Analyze the same vi in the VI Analyzer Results Window itself or is it that everyone follows the same procedure as i am.
Kudos are welcome

Graziano,
Not sure about that error message, but as far as your second question, you can use the VI analyzer plug-in available for LabVIEW Real-Time. You can find this here. There are also a number of resources you can find in the LabVIEW Real-Time section of the NI Developer Zone. I admit there's probably too much information there, but you can find some good stuff. Also, I recommend using the timed loop for your real-time apps, especially if you have tasks that need to run at different rates. You can learn more about the timed loop here.
I hope that helps.

  • Fix and Fix All buttons greyed out in Analyzed Results List

The Fix and Fix All buttons are greyed out in the Analyzed Results List. This was working preTiger at least. Perhaps after my initial clean install of 10.4.1. Now running 10.4.3. Things I've tried to no avail:
Reading the documentation and "Late Breaking News".
    Repaired permissions.
    Repaired disk. (found no problems)
Ran Disk Warrior (found no problems)
    Trashed SountrackPro prefs file.
Tried several existing and three new Audio File Projects on the internal and an external firewire drive.
Searched for a similar topic in this forum.
    TIA for any help, Ken

    It works for me.
First you have to select what you want to fix (e.g.
clicks and pops) then press the analyze button to get
a list of things to fix.
Right after the analysis is done, if at least one
thing was found to fix,you should see the "fix all"
button not greyed out, but the "Fix" button will be
greyed out until you actually click on one or more
of the items in the analysis result list.
Are you seeing something different from the behavior
    I've described?
My experience and information is that Soundtrack Pro only finds clipped samples. Have you been able to fix them as well?

  • Quiz Results Analyzer results not displaying correctly

We are using Adobe Captivate 6 and posting quizzes to a local server (configured with the .php files.) When we review quiz results using the Quiz Results Analyzer, some of the data is correctly reported. However, the Pass/Fail is not working right (either everybody who takes the quiz passes, or everybody fails.) Also, we are not seeing a total score.
Is there any tutorial for correctly configuring all of the quiz preferences, so that we get the results we are looking for?

Thank you for the link. I have viewed this video in the past.
The issue I'm having is that, in spite of setting the the quiz options for reporting, the data that is received in the xml files is not correct, therefore, it is not being correctly summarized in the Quiz Results Analyzer.
(It would also seem that the screen name I set here is not retaining its modifications.)

  • How to analyze result of SXMI_XMB_SYSLOG_READ?

    Hello Experts,
I'm trying to write a parser to retrieve system log contents of SAP system
using SXMI_XMB_SYSLOG_READ for system monitoring purpose.
I wrote a parser analyzing couple of the actual result,
but I could not find any specification document etc.
to be sure if my parser will work on other cases.
So I want to know if there is a document or an article about specification
    of what SXMI_XMB_SYSLOG_READ returns.
I will list things that I want to make clear below.
If there is something that you know or seen before,
about any of the items, it will be very helpful.
    - System logs seems to be separated into tables based on the dates.
Is there other cases that the logs may be separated into multiple tables?
Such as if log entries exceed NNN, it will be split into another table.
    - In the each table of system logs,
Can I assume that the first line after the Column Label line is the beginning of
system log entry? or is it possible that the line will be in the middle of
a system log entry composed from multiple lines?
If it may be in the middle of an entry,
How can I find the first line of next valid system log entry?
    - Columns of the returned table seems to be
Time, User, Program, Priority, Grp, N, Text
      in this order.
Can I assume that this order is fixed, or
Is there a configuration that the user can manipulate and
alter the order or add/delete columns?
    - About the date and time contained in this table,
Will it return a UTC date/time or will it return date/time in local timezone?
Environments I have in handy seems to return local time, but
Is is possible for some system to be configured to return date in UTC?
Also, in our environment date format seems to be in DD.MM.YYYY form.
Is it possible that they return in other format such as YYYY.MM.DD,
      based on configuration?
    - "Priority" column seems to be always empty on my environment,
can I assume that this field is always empty?
    - About the maximum length of each columns,
Is there any information about the limit for each columns?
Also, the limit of SYSLOG_TBL is 255 characters,
Is there a possibility that concatenated length of
all the columns exceed the 255 characters?
If it exceed 255, Will it be trimmed from the end, or
will the whole line be dropped as an error.
    Thank you,
    Tomohiro MINEKI.

I know that it's working, since it's returning more than the 9 that went in, but I'd like to get the info for every patche returned by the analysis.

Neither of the three patches without descriptions above are listed in the patchdb.zip file. As such there is no metadata available for them. I assume then that they must be listed in the requirements of one or more of the other patches.
Anyway, the reason ther is no descriptions is that they are not listed in the patchdb.zip file and as such no metadata is available to be presented.

    I'm running Exchange 2013 on Server 2012

    Hi,
Based on my research, it’s a known issue that there will be 1006 error in the application log after we install a new Exchange 2013 server:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/5ab1a91a-ccd4-49fb-a451-159592fc85d4/msexchangediagnostics-error-1006-logical-to-physical-size-ratio-free-megabytes?forum=exchangesvradmin
And it can be resolved by setting the value of DriveSpaceTrigger to false:
    http://windowsitpro.com/blog/case-erroneous-disk-space-checker
In your case, we can firstly try to restart the MS Exchange Diagnostics Service.

  • Changes in the Text element of Bex Analyzer result Informaton tab

    Hi Expert,
How can we make changes in the display of the Text element of the query result in the Information tab and save it? For eg. The User wants to display STATUS OF DATA TO rather than STATUS OF DATA in the Information tab of the query result.
The query is based on Multiprovider so it has Text Element of STATUS OF DATA
In the Workbook its easy to do, how do we do the changes in the query result in Analyzer and save it, so it always displays the chosen text element?
I dont want to create a workbook for the query, so is there any way to replace any of the Text Element with another existing standard Text element.

    Hi Ray,
    Thanks for your reply.
The change is required in the Text element of information tab (once query is displayed there are buttons for Graph, Information), so the changes are required there for the text element and  not for Characterstics and KF.

  • BEx Analyzer: Result Rows Suppressed when condition is on

    Hi All,
I have a BEx Query with below details:
    Drill down characteristics - A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I (total 9)
Result Row set to Display for - A & F characteristics
    Key Figures - P, Q, R, S
Condition is Active on column - S:  less than 100 (Show all the values less than 100 for column S)- This is a percentage calculated key figure.
Characteristic Assignment in the condition - Individual Chars. and Char.Combinations, selected all characteristics that are in the drill down (A to I).
Issue: When I run the report, everything works fine except the result rows, For both column A & F result rows are not displayed. It is getting suppressed somehow.
I tried by selecting the first option in the Character Assignment (All characteristics in the drilldown independently). This works & I get the result rows as required, but now it doesnt show all the values that supposed to be on report.
This is causing inconsistent data to the Business, even though cube values are correct.
We are on SAP BI 7.0 with SAPKW70019 support package.
I did research OSS notes, but unfortunately couldnt find any.
Please help with your ideas & let me know if you need further inputs.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Umesh.

    Hi Jagan,
In fact i've no problem with positive or negative values. Let me tell,
in my query, my one column ( X)  shows top 10 customers' debt values. Another column i am trying to get X's total amount. But when my formula is "SUMRT X", im getting my total 200 customers' total debit. So this new column doesn't use my first query condition.
How can i do my condition effective for this column too?
Clear? maybe my English is not so enogh to tell the problem. Sorry about that.
    Thanks.

  • Help! Multiple quiz results in Results Analyzer erase previous results

I'm very new to Captivate and having trouble with the Quiz Results Analyzer. I have 3 separate quizzes and have included the button for students to "post results" and log into an Acrobat account, then I can view their scores in the Analyzer.
I'm using C. version 6, and in the Quiz Preferences Settings, I gave each quiz a unique name, objective ID and interaction ID prefix.
Everything works when students take quiz 1, but when they take quiz 2, the Captivate Quiz Results Analyzer completely replaces their orginal quiz score. Then when they take quiz 3, it replaces their quiz 2 score.
Did I miss something in Captivate, or do I need to configure something differently in with Acrobat or the Analyzer?  I honestly don't remember where/how I set up the Analyzer results, and now it doesn't seem to give me any way to change things (ie, add a course, etc).
I will admit that originally I didn't give the quizzes an Interaction ID prefix (only unique objective IDs). But I've corrected that and now I have different ID prefixes for each one, yet after retrying the quizzes, I still see they are each replacing the old scores with the most recent ones.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?  Thank you!
    Tara

    Hi Tara,
I would suggest please go through this blog post:

If it doesn't works , please let us know.

  • Exchange Best Practices Analyzer and Event 10009 - DCOM

    We have two Exchange 2010 SP3 RU7 servers on Windows 2008 R2
In general, they seem to function correctly.
ExBPA (Best Practices Analyzer) results are fine. Just some entries about drivers being more than two years old (vendor has not supplied newer drivers so we use what we have). Anything else has been verified to be something that can "safely be ignored".
Test-ServiceHealth, Test-ReplicationHealth and other tests indicate no problems.
However, when I run the ExBPA, it seems like the server on which I run ExBPA attempts to contact the other using DCOM and this fails.
    Some notes:
    1. Windows Firewall is disabled on both.
    2. Pings in both directions are successful.
    3. DTCPing would not even run so I was not able to test with this.
    4. Connectivity works perfectly otherwise. I can see/manage either server from the other using the EMC or EMS. DAG works fine as far as I can see.
    What's the error message?
    Event 10009, DistributedCOM
"DCOM was unable to communiate with the computer --- opposite Exchange server of the pair of Exchange servers---  using any of the configured protocols."
This is in the System Log.
This happens on both servers and only when I run the ExBPA.
I understand that ExBPA uses DCOM but cannot see what would be blocking communications.
I can access the opposite server in MS Management Consoles (MMC).
Note: the error is NOT in the ExBPA results - but rather in the Event Viewer System Log.
Yes, it is consistent. Have noticed it for some time now.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Since normal Exchange operations are not affected, I'm tempted to ignore it, but I have to do my "due diligence" and inquire.
Please mark as helpful if you find my contribution useful or as an answer if it does answer your question. That will encourage me - and others - to take time out to help you.

    Hi David,
I recommend you refer the following article to troubleshoot this event:
How to troubleshoot DCOM 10009 error logged in system event
    Why this happens:
Totally speaking, the reason why DCOM 10009 is logged is that: local RPCSS service can’t reach the remote RPCSS service of remote target server. There are many possibilities which can cause this issue.
    Scenario 1:
The remote target server happens to be offline for a short time, for example, just for maintenance.
    Scenario 2:
Both servers are online. However, there RPC communication issue exists between these two servers, for example:  server name resolvation failure, port resources for RPC communication exhaustion, firewall configuration.
    Scenario 3:
Even though the TCP connection to remote server has no any problem, but if the communication of RPC authentication gets problem, we may get the error status code like 0x80070721 which means “A security package specific
error occurred” during the communication of RPC authentication, DCOM 10009 will also be logged on the client side.
    Scenario 4:
The target DCOM |COM+ service failed to be activated due to permission issue. Under this kind of situation, DCOM 10027 will be logged on the server side at the same time.
Event ID 10009 — COM Remote Service Availability
    Resolve
Ensure that the remote computer is available
There is a problem accessing the COM Service on a remote computer. To resolve this problem:
Ensure that the remote computer is online.
This problem may be the result of a firewall blocking the connection. For security, COM+ network access is not enabled by default. Check the system to determine whether the firewall is blocking the remote connection.
Other reasons for the problem might be found in the Extended Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Error information that is available in Event Viewer.
To perform these procedures, you must have membership in Administrators, or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority.
Ensure that the remote computer is online
To verify that the remote computer is online and the computers are communicating over the network:
Open an elevated Command Prompt window. Click Start, point to
    All Programs, click Accessories, right-click
Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If the
User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click
    Continue.
At the command prompt, type ping, followed by a space and the remote computer name, and then press ENTER. For example, to check that your server can communicate over the network with a computer named ContosoWS2008, type
ping ContosoWS2008, and then press ENTER.
A successful connection results in a set of replies from the other computer and a set of
    ping statistics.
Check the firewall settings and enable the firewall exception rule
To check the firewall settings and enable the firewall exception rule:
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type wf.msc, and then click OK. If the
User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click
    Continue.
In the console tree, click Inbound rules.
In the list of firewall exception rules, look for COM+ Network Access (DCOM In).
If the firewall exception rule is not enabled, in the details pane click
Enable rule, and then scroll horizontally to confirm that the protocol is
TCP and the LocalPort is 135. Close Windows Firewall with Advanced Security.
Review available Extended RPC Error information for this event in Event Viewer
To review available Extended RPC Error information for this event in Event Viewer:
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type comexp.msc, and then click OK. If the
User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click
    Continue.
Under Console Root, expand Event Viewer (Local).
In the details pane, look for your event in the Summary of Administrative Events, and then double-click the event to open it.
The Extended RPC Error information that is available for this event is located on the
Details tab. Expand the available items on the Details tab to review all available information.

  • Formulas results outside of row and column axis

The report has an area of row axis and column axis. This area is where the results from BW are displayed.
We have a requirement where we would have to create formulas using the BW Analyzer results of the row axis and column axis and display the results after the last row of this area.
For example, after the BW Analyzer displays the result area to the Excel, we are required to take Excel Cell D10 * C7 and put the results to B33.
    <b>B33 = D10*C11</b>
Excel row 30 is the last row from the row axis result area.
I have searched through the forum for Cell Editor, but it seems that the requirement is to use 2 structures and use Cell Editor only when there is a formula collision. Our requirement has 1 structure, but I guess we can create the other structure for the column axis results. But still I think Cell Editor is a computation of formula collision within the row and column axis result area.
My question is will Cell Editor meet our requirement if we want to get formula results from the row and column axis and then display the results outside of the row and column axis result area?
Our approach was to use the Excel cell formulas in the workbook or possibly macros, but it seems that the Excel formulas will do.
Would someone clarify about the Cell editor for this requirement and how would you approach this?
Would this be effective to do the formulas from the query level? We are working on 3.5 SP11.

Can Cell editor do the following:
    1. Create structures
    2. Run the query
    3. The results of the structures are displayed in the row and column axis of the BEx Analyzer
    4. Save as a workbook
    5. Use the Cell Editor to pick and choose the cells (Not the Excel cells) to create formulas
    6. The formula results are then displayed outside of the row and column axis.
    Would this be another approach?
What scenario can Cell editor be used? What scenario can Cell editor not be used?
    Thanks

  • Problems regarding to performance analyzer

I'm trying to ultilize sun performance analyzer to analyze c codes implementing OpenMP API. I have used a virtual machine which is classified as Linux-32-bit, 2 CPUs, Debian_4.0 system. And I have met two problems:
    1. For a large simulator code sets, I could not set more than 2 threads in the code. And from the results of analyzer, it seems there were two threads, but only one cpu is binded. What's the reason for that, do i need to bind cpus to threads?
    2. For a simple OpenMP program as follows, after using collect command, in the result nothing is shown in any of the tabs except experiments tab. It does give some warnings, but i don't think that's the key problem.Because the analyzer works for our simulator.(btw. this is the example code of sun thread analyzer. For that one, i also got same kind of problems for simple testing programs i wrote.)
    commands used:cc -xopenmp -xO3 openmptest.c
    collect ./a.out | sort
    analyzer &
Results got: Creating experiment database test.9.er ...
Number of prime numbers between 2 and 3000 430

         for(i=0;i<total;i++)
         printf("%d\n",primes[i]);
         return 0;

I suspect both issues are related to the support of multiple processors in the virtual machine and the guest OS. Would you be able to try it outside a virtual machine? Or provide more details about your setup?
    Thanks.

I don't think there is a direct method of finding out for which table analyze resulted in this error.
You could make a guess by sorting the data in user_tables, by table_name, for that schema and looking at the last_analyzed column where it does not match the current run time.
But tagging along to know if there is a better alternative :-)

I have SQL Server 2014 SSAS on dedicated server. I'm starting to collect Performance Counters with Perfmon.
What is good tool for analyzing results? I would like to see graphs about Memory usage etc.

Have you tried the PAL tool. It is too good a tool for perfmon analysis.
