"VI is not loadable" error.

Trying to help out, I run into a weird problem and I wonder if it is just me.

I was able to edit the posting.vi (a few posts up), but after saving the edit, I can no longer open it at all. I get the error as seen in the picture.
Believing it has to do with my lack of IMAQ, I went back to the original VI and tried to convert it to 7.1 so I can use my 7.1 student edition at home which includes IMAQ. However, I cannot downconvert from 8 to 7.1, I immediately get a very similar error.
Bug? Feature? User error?

Hi guys,
I know it's been a while but I came across this post when I was researching the same issue for a customer.
If you are using a waveform chart in your application then that could be what's causing the issue. It's a known bug in 8 that's been fixed in 8.20. The suggested workaround is to save the VI without the graph, open it in 8.0 then rebuild the graph.

TNS: Protocol adaptor not loadable

Hi,
I am facing TNS: Protocol adaptor not loadable error when i am trying to login from SQLPLUS.
But from the command prompt when I open sqlplus I am able to login. Also I am able to TNSPING my service (PROD).
I am using Oracle 11g, This was installed along with EBS 12.1.1 My OS is Windows Server 2003 SP1.
All my environment variables are properly set.
I am unable to think of possible reasons.

All my environment variables are properly set.Are you sure? Seems like you are "mixing homes". Does this EBS have an Oracle Client inside perhaps?
ProcessMonitor is a good tool, with which you could find out from where files actually are loaded.

Data target error when opening InfoPackage (not loadable)

Hi,
I have transported my objects from the development environment to QA environment, but now when I try to open one specific InfoPackage (in QA) to schedule a data load to an DSO, I receive the following error:
Data target 'P_USUARIO ' removed from list of loadable targets; not loadable RSM 33
Data target 'P_USUARIO ' is not active or is incorrect; no loading allowed RSM 36
I tried to run RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL program before realizing that it is not relevant in NW04s and I tried to transport many times again this specific data target with no success.
Any suggestion??

Hi:
The program you ran is for Transfer Structure.
The error you are gettign is for an Inactive Update Rule.
If the infopackage is loading several data targets and an update rule is inactive, then, you have take off laoding to that Update Rule in Infopackage.
First, see which Update Rule is Inactive. Look in all the tabs of infopackage and you will find it.

Message when opening VI "LABVIEW: VI not loadable

I am receiving a message when opening my VI: "VI not loadable".
     The message box is attached in a Word document.
     The VI is also attached.
This VI was working this morning.
   It uses DAQmx to acquire data from 3 load cells.
   The data was displayed using a dial and numeric indicator for each channel.
    Then I added a waveform chart to the front panel.
     The chart history was at 1024. The chart worked, but the history was too short.
     The VI was shut down.
An hour later:
    I opened the VI and changed the chart history length from 1024 to 2100000000.
    The Vi was closed without testing the VI.
The next time I tried to open the VI, I got the message the VI was not loadable.
   The message also said "Could not load the default data".
Did I cause the problem by entering a huge number in the chart history length?
If I can't open the VI, how can I begin to fix it?
The VI is not an executable.
The VI has been opened on only one computer.
I am using Labview 8.0.

Hi Kevin,
You were right. It is an issue with not having enough memory.
The problem was caused my me and my haste to close the VI and ignoring the messages.
Here’s how I recreated the problem using a different VI.
     Open the attached VI
     Change the chart history length to 2100000000.
     Save the VI.
     Run arrow goes from solid to broken. (I missed this the first time it hapened)
     The error list says “You must make more memory available for LabVIEW to generate the code for this VI.”
Exit Labview
At this point, a popup window says an error has occurred and Labview will be shut down.

Removed from list of loadable targets not loadable

Hi Gurus,
I am working on BI NW 2004's.
Error Message: 1)DataTarget "HRPA_C01"removed from list of loadable targets,not loadable.
2)DataTarget "HRPA_C01" is Transactional and is on 'Planing mode'.
I had a cube (0PA_C01) for this it has 2 Infosouce (0HR_PA_1,0HR_PA_0)
when i load data through info pack it is showing that (HRPA_C01) is remove from the list loadable target.
But HRPA_C01 is another cube for this UpdateRules are (0HR_PA_1,0HR_PA_0), HRPA_C01 cube is not appearing in datatarget list in Info package.where this target is missing?
What is the solution for this Error.

Hi Raju,
Go into the context menu for your cube in the RSA1 view.
Choose "Switch real-time infocube". Put the setting to "Real-Time InfoCube Can Be Loaded with Data; Planning Not Allowed".
Are you sure you want to use a real-time infocube for
HR personel data loading ?

Data target 'XYZ' removed from list of loadable targets; not loadable

Hi Guys,
I am trying to run one of the infopakcage. When i open the IP i get this error (red) message "Data target 'XYZ' removed from list of loadable targets; not loadable".
I tired deleting and re-creating the IP but still get the same message. I checked the data target "XYZ" but could not find in the system. It does not exists.
This is not just a warning but an error which does not allow me to schedule the IP. I checked many forumns on this topic but did not get solution for this. I saw some of the OSS notes on other similar foroums but those not applicable.
I would appreciate if anyone could provide me the right solution for this.

The XYZ data target has not been part of initilization but this is connected to the datasource. since the data target has been deleted now, system is throwing you an error that "Data target 'XYZ' removed from list of loadable targets; not loadable."
Old init is corrupted now. you will have to try a fresh one.
Before running the re-init, run the delta's and make sure that no the RSA7 is emptied for this datasource.
There will not be any problem with the re-init, it's just that you are trying to modify the data target selections.
The re-init will load delta data to only those targets that you choose now.

VI Not Loadable

Hi all,
I have recently inherited a LV application which was compiled using LabVIEW 7.0; the machines we use currently are running LabVIEW 2010.
I get the standard "VI is not loadable" message when trying to load one of the subVIs and I suspect the first reason it suggests is correct;
"In a built application, this error might occur because the VI being loaded was last compiled for a different OS, in which case you must save the VI on the current platform."
I have searched the forums and cannot find how I can save the VI on the current platform if I am unable to open it.
Do I need to acquire LabVIEW 7.0 and open/resave with that? Or am I missing something?

Hi,
I am running Win XP with LabView 2011. I just wrote a VI that apparently uses a lot of memory (although I am not sure why) - I did get "Out of memory" quite frequently. At some point I saved the VI and closed LabView and when I wanted to open the VI again it gave me the error message: "VI not loadable" with error code 8 : Could not load VI resource.
The bad thing is many (10+) hours went into programming this VI and I can't get it to open any more. Same with the automatic backup which was made of this file. After researching the forum and web for a bit, I think it might be that the VI suddenly needs more memory than Win XP can supply (I do have 6GB of RAM on the computer, but from what I understand 32bit Win XP can only use 3GB).
How do I get the VI to open again? At least I'd like to see/browse the block diagram. Otherwise all of the program and hence my work would be lost.
I attach the error codes I got as well as the VI that I can't open any more. Maybe someone can open it on a 64bit PC with sufficient memory and find any error that prevents it from opening on my machine?

'dimension attribute was not found' error while refresing the cube in Excel

Dear All,
Thanks for all your support and help.
I need an urgent support from you as I am stuck up here from nearly past 2-3 days and not getting a clue on it.
I have re-named a dimension attribute 'XX' to 'xx' (Caps to small)in my cube and cleared all dependencies (In Attribute relationship tab as well).
But while refreshing the data in excel client (of course after processing the full cube) I get an error
'Query (1, 1911) the [Dimension Name].[Hierarchy Name].[Level Name].[XX] dimension attribute was not found' error.
Here I am trying to re-fresh an existing report without any changes with the new data.
Does not it re-fresh automatically if we clear the dependencies or there something that I am missing here (Like order of the dependencies).
Cube processed completely after modifications and able to create new reports without any issues for same data. What else could be the reason?
Can some one help me here?

In se11 ,when i was trying to activate the /BIC/FZBKUPC , it is showing the warnings like
Key field KEY_ZBKUPCP has num. type INT4: Buffering not possible, Transport restricted.What it means.
In PErformance Window it is showing like:
A numeric type was used for a key field. A table of this sort cannot be buffered.When buffering, the table records for numeric values cannot be stored in plain text.
Procedure
You can enter "no buffering" as an attribute of the technical settings and then repeat the activation process. The table is not buffered.
If you want to buffer the table, you must replace the type in the key field by a character type, i.e. that you must modify the table.
Please adivice with your valueable suggestyions.

Hp 5535 will not scan, error message printer not found

I have a HP Envy 5535. I have only been able to scan one time with it. I scanned 22 documents, after running HP Scan Doc 4.4. Each time the HP Scan Doc states that everything is OK, yet as soon as I try to do even a test scan, I get the error message "Printer not found." I have also tried to run this scan with my McAfee virus firewall off, and it still doesn't work. I have also identified it on McAfee as part of my network.

For further assistance I will need to know:
If you are using a Windows or Mac Operating System, and the version number. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
If the printer is connected, Wireless, or USB.
If the printer is able to make copies by itself.
If the power cable is plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
In the meantime, please try going through this scanning guide. A 'The computer is not responding' Error Message Displays During Scanning.

Private Key Not Found Error in Ldaps

Hi,
I am facing "Private Key Not Found" Error in ldaps. The key and the SSL certificate is stored under the same location. The certificate is self signed certificate and in .pem format. When I am trying to install the certifcate through SUN ONE Console it throws the following error
"Either this certificate is for another server, or this certificate was not requested using this server".
can any one help me in this regard.

I have a nidaq32.dll not found error. If i have already tried replacing the visa32.dll what else can i try?

I am working with VB6 on an application involving a PCI-6711 Analog output card. I now am in the phase of working on the install file. I have developed this application on an XP machine, and i am trying to install it on a Windows 2000 machine, but i get a "nidaq32.dll file not found" error when i try to run my program on the 2000 machine. I have looked in the System32 folder and nidaq32.dll is in fact in the folder. I am wondering if my install file (created using INNO installer) didn't register the file correctly, of if it has to do with the driver i am using on the PC. I have NIDAQ 6.9.3 installed on the 2000 machine and NIDAQ 7.2 installed on my XP machine.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello GVanhorn,
The problem seems to be that you have different drivers in the systems. You might want to use the same version of the driver in both machine since that will install the same version of the nidaq32.dll.

Excel Viewer: Class not registered (error -2147221164)

I am using the Excel examples shipped with Labview 8.21 to read from an Excel file and this works well. Now I need to do the same but on a PC that does not have Microsoft Office or Excel installed but only the free XLVIEWER (Microsoft Office Excel Viewer). When I try to change the ActiveX class of my reference to feed the 'Automation Open' vi I get the Class not registered (error -2147221164) although I can browse down to the XLVIEWER.exe and select it. Then I thought that maybe XLVIEWER had no ActiveX to communicate with other application; I thus installed a package called excelocx.exe, rebooted the PC but that did not change anything. I am still stuck with the same error.
What am I doing wrong?

Please find attached the VI I am using together with the XLS file that I try to read with Labview on a Pc that does not have MS Excel installed, only the XLVIEWER.
OpenOffice is not supported in our company so cannot be considered as a valid solution.

Class Not Registered error upon using MS Office Report

Hello,
Using LabVIEW 2010, I've just installed the Microsoft RGT trial from NI, along with the Office 2010 trial from Microsoft. Upon trying to drag the MS Office Report VI to my block diagram, the configuration dialog appears but immediately an error dialog shows up over top, with a Class Not Registered error. Attached is the screenshot. If I close the error and try to configure the VI for a basic Excel report, I get a file-not-found error in reference to the Excel template, which I have verified is indeed at the target path and opens with my version of Excel just fine. Any ideas how to get past this error?

Write permissions issues / lots of "ACL found but not expected" errors / hardware failure? on brand new Mac Mini (still within warranty). OSX Mavericks 10.9.1.

I was hoping that I could receive some feedback from you fine folks here
My situation:
I bought a 2012 Mac Mini 2.6 Ghz Intel Core i7 from the online Apple store. It came with Mavericks 10.9.1 pre-installed and was delivered two days ago (I know, the mini update is evident but I needed the machine).
I noticed that I had to enter my password every time I created, moved or deleted a folder. I did not think much of it.
I did, however, think much of not being able to install files from certain developers. I received the "The installer is damaged" notification as shown in this topic: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5541793
This screenshot is someone elses, I tried to install audio software.
Based on that error, I contacted the developer of the software. But then I noticed that I got the same error for other developers too.
I tried the solution that the topic starter marked as solving his issue in https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5541793. It involves booting in OSX Recovery (command+R) and excecuting the 'resetpassword' command. That did not work for me. It also looks like my password data isn't stored as I do not see the 'obfuscated' password dots that the screenshot shows in that topic, even when I entered and saved it multiple times -- but I'm not sure if that is part of the main issue (which I'm gettting to).
I also made sure gatekeeper allows applications to be installed from unidentified developers, as shown here: http://www.instantteamspeak.com/static/en/img/mac-gatekeeper-anywhere.png That didn't help either.
Next I opened up Disk Utility and ran a check on write permissions. That got me worried.
The check ran for a long time, spitting out "ACL found but not expected" errors.
I proceeded to restore write permissions. That took 20-25 minutes.
Once it finished I checked write permissions again. An equal amount of permissions needed to be restored! It's as if Mavericks didn't remember anything it did.
The good news is that I could now install the files I previously couldn't, but the fact that I've restored write permissions three times now, and each time it seems as if nothing of that is remembered, has gotten me worried.

I then checked the hard disk and the partition above it. The Macintosh HD gave me the green 'ok' light, but something weird happened when I checked the partition on the level above it. The point is to demonstrate how long it takes).
When I checked the hard disk for a second and third time, I got 'everything ok' results pretty quickly.

** Is my hard disk failing? In that case I'll return the Mac immediately.

As said, this Mac Mini is brand new. If at some stage anyone would feel the wise thing to do is to return my Mac, please do let me know. There is a 14 day return policy in The Netherlands (on top of other warranties) and I'd rather return it in case of doubt, than end up with technical issues with this machine once I've started working with it. I'm ok with doing some troubleshooting if the machine is fine, but I'd rather not take a gamble with a 1200 € machine under warranty.

File not found error from scheduler

Hi,
We have a scheduler file with .cfa extension in the cf scheduler which trigger some mails to certain recipients on execution.
At the bottom option fo the scheduled task, we have checked the option to 'save output to file' and has given the file
path. On direct execution of the given url, the file is executed successfully and mails are fired.
But while trying to execute the same via scheduler it is not firing the mails. On investigation of the output file,
found the error message 'File not found'.
Is it possible that the file get executed when directly browsing the url and shows 'file not found' error
while executing via cf scheduler?(CF 8 is used.)

To be more specific,
the url format given in the cf admin scheduler is like this:
"http://www.domainname.com/myfolder/myfile.cfa"
A file path to log the output is also given to publish.
If we copy the above url to a browser and execute, the file gets executed and mails are fired.
If we set the interval or run the scheduler from the administrator,mails are not sent.On examination of log file given in the scheduler section, it is
showing error '/myfolder/myfile.cfa' file not found.
