[VIA] power

I have had my setup now for nearly 3 years and I have just started having an issue, in that my pc will not alway start. The dled displays 2 green at top and 2 red at bottom. To get it to start up I have to strip out memory and graphics card and reseat them (sometimes have to do this several times b4 it boots up again. PC alert 3 is telling me my vcore 3.3v is too low a lot of the time now (don't know if this is related) PC alert log shows this "3.3V voltage abnormal!" can anyone suggest what could be causing my problem. Hello, I'm trying to create a SSAS Tabular cube from a data loaded to Power Pivot via Power Query (SAP BOBJ connector) but looks like is not yet supported.
Any one tried this before? any workaround that make sense?
The final goal is pull data from SAP BW, BO Universe (using PowerQuery) and be able to create a SSAS Tabular cube.

Depending on the size of the data from Analysis Services, one work around could be to import the data into into Excel and then make an Excel table and then use the Excel table as a data source.

Connecting PC via Power line Adapters to BT TV Hub...

I know (from BT's website) that Power line adapters cannot be used to connect the new BT TV box to the new Infinity Hub5 Router if I have the extra 18 channels (And I do want them) - the connection has to be by hard wired cable only. But what I cannot get a definitive answer to is; can I connect my desktop PC (upstairs) to the BT TV Infinity Hub5 Router (downstairs) via Power line adapters? and will it affect the BT TV box in anyway? As I wish to access the Internet this way and not by wireless!
I called BT & their online chat about this, but they did not know and refused to let me speak to an engineer unless a placed an order. In fact they repeatedly asked what package I wanted and if I would like to place an order - which would be silly if I cannot connect my PC the way I want.
Hope anyone can give me a definitive answer to this question!

BT do sell powerline adapters which would do the job.
If it just to connect a PC and other wired devices, then these would do.

My approach is to save the values of your first and second column (the columns you want to sort your values with) in ArrayLists and then use dynamic variables to save the actual content. Look at the following code. It should be able to display the information

Just bought a refurb PB G4 via power seller on ebay. Froze on 1st power up. Report says unresolved kernel. Is this terminal or fixable. Should I ask for money back whilst under warranty? I am not techie so worried and not sure what to do? OSX 10.5.8

Just over a week ago I bought a refurb Powerbook G4 via a power reseller on ebay. The first time I switched it on it froze said OSx had quit unexpectedly... assumed I had done something wrong as not very techie so forced shut down and started again. It is saying the same message frequently and freezing... report says unresolved kernel etc etc etc.
I emailed the apple specialist I bought it off and he advises restarting by inserting the OSX disc and pressing down the C button to reboot from there then selecting disk utility, hard disk and repair. He says it shouldn't be happening as it was fully tested before dispatch?? The only thing I have loaded is an update to adobe and Software for my 3 dongle but as it was freezing before I loaded either of these I don't think they can be responsible??
Please can somebody advise if this is a serious problem. I believe I have warranty for 14 days on this item and I am worried I may have bought myself into a problem. Is this a simple thing to repair. Does he mean me to hold down the C key on the alpha keyboard or the ctrl key? (I emailed him and asked him that 2 days ago and he hasn't responded, hence my worries)... I am sorry if that is a stupid question but I really am not very techie at all.....
Should I just ask for my money back??? If it is a simple repair do I just literally push the disc in, push the power button and hold down the C button?
Any advice would be really apprciated.....

That's where I would begin, too, with
Repair Disk
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.TStatus of HDD at the bottom of right panel, and report if it saysanything but Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
If DU reports errors it cannot repair you will need touse autility like TechTool Pro,Drive Geniusor DiskWarrior
First we need to determine if the issue you are experiencing with the computer is software or hardware based. Once we have gotten things sorted out there should be time enough to make you decision about keeping or returning it.

IPhone 3GS doesnt charge up via Power Adapter

hello all
Today my main power supply failed while my iPhone was charging via wall adapter. I didn't unplug it because i was sleeping. When i woke up electricity has come back but my iPhone wasn't charging. I tried many ways by plugging in different sockets all over my home but the iPhone doesn't seem to charge anywhere however it charges via my pc via the cable. So i concluded that the problem is with my power adapter. Is there anything i can do to fix it?

By the time you package the power adaptor and pay to have it shipped it to your friend in the U.S. to have it exchanged under warranty - if it is exchanged under warranty, and your packages the replacement and pays to have it shipped to you, you will be without a power adaptor for a while and at a greater expense.
If your iPhone was purchased in the U.S. and has been hacked to be unlocked, the warranty is void. In order to have an iPhone that was sold by Apple in the U.S. exchanged under warranty or any of the package contents, the iPhone must be activated with AT&T and if hacked for any reason and Apple discovers this, the warranty is void.
Purchase another there - cheaper and much faster. Apple sells their power adaptor for $29, and there are some 3rd party power adaptors that are compatible with the iPhone.

How can I list print queues per server via power shell script

we are managing many print servers on our domain environment, now for auditing purpose I need to report print queues per server, and it seems bit difficult task doing it via GUI in print management view, could someone help me with script which
gets me the no. of print queues on each print server.
Also I need to list all the print drivers installed on each print servers.
I tried to list the drivers " Get-WmiObject win32_printerDriver -filter " but this will get me complete information about the driver, I need to list only the driver name (-filter) either _RELPATH or _PATH

Lan/WLan Switiching via power shell or VBS

Is there any way that I can Enable the bios setting Lan/Wlan switching wth VBScript or Powershell for the OS. I would like to roll this optin out via SCCM.

I came across this webpage in which someone creatd a script to enable WLAN/LAN switching via a VBS.
I have tested this on an HP 8460P. I would assume it works on 8470P as well.

Is it possible to connect Vision box to HH via Pow...

I recently renewed my contract to get the extra channels. I previously connected with the Powerline adapters, and was not told I would need to connect directly to the HomeHub (the BTV box being in the living room and HH down the other end of the hall). I really don't want a super long ethernet cable running across my living room and down the hall, so are there any other options? I've tried using a wireless access point at the Vision+ box, and connecting wirelessly. This works fine with ordinary on demand content (a bit better than the original Powerlines actually), but not with the extra channels. I could try buying faster Powerline adapters, but the Vision box seems to 'know' that it is connected via Powerlines and tells you it's a problem.
So, does anyone know whether it's possible to fool the HH or Vision box into thinking they're directly connected when they're actually connecting via another means? Or is there some technical reason why they can only be connected by Ethernet?

There are quite a few posts on the forums about this. BT's stance is that you need to use an Ethernet cable but it would seem many have been able to use PLA 's. So all you can do is try, however BT are unlikely to give you support if you get problems with the connection. There are so any variables involved in using PLA's such as distance, wifi interference and your mains wiring condition that there is no guarantee it will work. Good luck.

Is there an possibility to disable the new sleep function via power button

Hello i am a dj working with the new os mavericks.
At home i realised that pulling the power butten quickly shuts my mac to sleep.
Then the monitor stays black and i cant return to the desk so i forced to shut down the mac pulling the power button for 3 seconds.
This new function really is problem for me because everytime i used it i didnt want to shut it to sleep.It was by writing fast or something without wanting it.
Now im really scared when im at work putting music in the club it happens and the music goes off...this really cant happen so i need a solution to get my
power button work like before.

Sorry, but it is not possible. And yes, you would probably be better off buying an actual watch.

Shutting down via power button

I was wondering if there are some ill effects of holding down the power button until your ibook shut down. I've had to do this on a few occassions now because of what I think is a lack of ram. (still running stock 256.) I'll attempt to exit out of a game (warcraft III) and it'll just hang sometimes.....and now I'm starting to get lazy and just do it to get out quickly.
Just wondering if there's other methods I should be using rather than the aformentioned. I don't want to hurt this little guy.

Using the power button to shutdown should be an option of last resort.
If you're hanging, it may be your only option. But, going that route increases risk of damaging information on your HD, which ultimately could leave you with an unusable install of OS X (ie: you won't be able to boot your computer back up).
If you have any use of the mouse (the cursor moves, you can switch to another app in the dock or by Apple-tab), then you've got some other options.
Your best bet, IMO, would be Apple-option-ESC. That will bring up the force-quit dialog box. Click on the app that's hung (Warcraft III) and then the "force quit" button.
If that doesn't work, you can try launching "Activity Monitor" (in Applications > Utilities) and doing the force quit from there. That's a more reliable force quit in my experience, but it's more work to get to it.
Hope this helps ... and definitely wait for some others to chime in as well since I'm sure there's stuff I'm forgetting.

Power Query/Data Management Gateway data refresh not working

Pretty new to o365/Power BI, but here's what I've got going on (hopefully someone can help me out):
I created a data management gateway and data source. The data source says it's online in the PowerBI admin center, and it seems to be working correctly. I can open Excel 2013 on my desktop (logging in as my trial o365 account which has Power
BI associated with it) and connect to the data source via Power Query using the oData option. I make sure to import the data into the model, and then open up the PowerPivot window and create a simple pivot table using the data in the model.
that all works just great. The problem comes when I upload the workbook and try to update it. I've tried a few different ways.
1. When I try to manually refresh the workbook by opening it in my o365 site and going to data-->refresh I get the following error:
      An error occurred while working on the Data Model in the workbook. Please try again.
      We were unable to refresh one or more data connections in this workbook.
      The following connections failed to refresh:
      Connection: Power Query - dbo_DimProductCategory
      Error: Out of line object 'DataSource', referring to ID(s) 'a75593f3-c34d-4f83-9458-49aa2cece164', has been specified but has not been used.
      The following system error occurred: Class not registered
      The provider 'Microsoft.Mashup.OleDb.1' is not registered.
      Power Query - dbo_DimProductCategory
2. When I go into Power BI and go to "Schedule Data Refresh" for the workbook, I get the following error:
      Sorry, the data connections in this report arenâ€™t supported for Scheduled Refresh.

Thanks for the reply.
The "data source type" of the data source in Power BI is "SQL Server" (there was only that and Oracle available to select from)
The "data source type" that Power Query is using in Excel is "From oData Feed"....which is using the Power BI data source....which is using the data management gateway.
A few follow up questions if you have a second
1. Do you know when PowerQuery data refresh will be supported? (just a general idea....weeks, months, next year?)
2. Is there any other way to connect to (and be able to refresh) PowerBI data sources referencing "on prem" data via the data management gateway? I tried using the oData feed URL in non-PowerQuery areas of excel (excel data tab, PowerPivot directly)
but it didn't work. If there's some other way to connect to and refresh on prem data, i'm all ears :D
