Vibe Z2 (not the Pro) in-call volume

Hi there,
Vibe Z2 (no Pro) would be my ultimate phone, except for one big disadvantage for me and that's an "in-call" volume (loudnes). Simply it's too low. Not just the speaker itself but the whole in-call volume (same when switch to loudspeaker). What's even worst - I can't use it in car with built in Parrot simply because I can barely hear the other side. All other phone was great with this, Nokias, Sams, HTC was even too loud...
Please is there any known solution? On other phones with mtk chips I would use mtk tools, but Z2 is a Snapdragon of course .

The Call Quality on the Vibe Z2 (not Pro) that I tested was so bad that I returned the unit to the seller, who then returned it back to lenovo. Since my first phone in 1998 until now, I never had a unit that would have such a bad call quality as this Vibe Z2. I thought it is only the unit that I have, but it could be that it is more (all) units.
While I was in a shopping mall and someone called me, I could not hear them properly as the sound was too low. On high volume the speakers make a little noise as being overburdened. When making a call in Skype, on the contrary, the other party could not hear me as the microphone did not seem to work with Skype properly.
I did not have any issue with loudspeakers, they seem to be loud as it gets, but there seemed to be an echo. With headphones the call quality was fantastic, so I believe it could be the hardware's fault. So if it does not get fixed you can return the unit to the seller or lenovo and wait for the Vibe Z3.
This is the ultimate phone, as you rightly said, and I wish someone from China could send me a unit with a good call quality on Vibe Z2 (and all the other small bugs fixed). I would even go to China to show the developers this faults so it can get fixed so I could have it as my primary phone.

Hello, i have just bought the Vibe Z2 (5,5 inch-not the pro).I am very happy with it.it is a great device with great possibilities, BUT i would like to suggest the following
1.you should not release again two devices with almost the same name.it is very confusing for the market.also the superior model always shadows the inferior in every aspect(i.e. reviews,accesories etc)
2.it would be great to offer the option to use pure android instead of lenovo UI.as someone mentioned in this forum, it really doubles the value of the device and in my opinion the prestige of the company(and the possible buyers).although i find Vibe UI awsome.
3.The camera.it is a great camera but i think your software engineers could make it even better. The sensors is there, the lense is there, why not to work to make it even better through an update and make it compete flagship stadars.the photo processing needs to be more mature.More specifically i reallly feel that you need to work in the noise reduction.the photos suffer from this.also the colour saturation in auto mode needs some tweaking and finally the shutter sound!there is no option to mute it!
it would be also great to offer the Z2, the camera tools and software that Z2 Pro uses.
4.please release some accessories for the Vibe Z2(an official functional case for example)

Is the iPhone 5 call volume nice and quiet at the lowest setting?

I have an iPhone 4 and prior to this IOS6 debacle I was going to upgrade but for the moment I'm hanging fire until the release of 6.1
When I upgraded my i4 to IOS6 my call volume got much louder, even at the lowest setting it is too loud for me and I have to hold the phone away from my ear. I have reinstalled IOS several times to try and cure this (and other problems) but to no avail. I was just wondering if the different hardware on the iPhone 5 handles things differently? It is very important to me that the lowest call volume setting is quiet, after all we can always turn it up but not being able to turn it down is a big issue for me.

You cannot install a trial version of Acrobat Std. as it's not available.

You can use the trial version of Pro for 30 days and compare the features you require and those you can afford to miss in the Std. version

Kind of. There are 4 normal resolutions 480, 576, 720 and 1080. Both 720 and 1080 are considered HD.

Lack of EZ Photo Print PRO on the PRO-100 ONLY

I've been using Canon printers for fifteen years, I think, so this is not so overly picky newbie observation. For the last five years, iP4300 and 4500's, and a 9000 MK II. All come with the Easy Photo Print EX, as does the PRO-100 printer. Way too "EZ" for me, I can just use the built in printer dialogue boxes, thank you very much.
Not so long ago I discovered the Easy Photo Print PRO, which requires either an Adobe product, or Canon's Digital Photo Professional.   Not having a Canon digital camera, I did find a source to download the original DPP 1.0, then upgraded straight off of an EOS Canon page.
Very nice! All of the dialogue boxes into one, or almost one screen. And what is really worth the price of admission, the "Pattern Print."   What we old wet darkroom types called a "ring around." Wow! Fine tune your color profile w/o expensive profiling equipment.
So yesterday I got a new PRO-100 which added the Print Studio Pro to the DPP. Of course I check it out. HORRIBLE!   First, I just HATE this trend of gray text on black backgrounds. Who thought this *&*^$% up? Form did not follow function. Then, all the choices, which seem to be pretty much the same as the EZPP PRO, are packed into a long slider box on the right. Said sliders are very narrow, very hard to grab and move.
OK, I'll just no use this and continue with the EZPP PRO, right? Wrong! The latter recognizes both the iP4500 and the 9000, but not the PRO-100, while the new PSP sees all three printers. Upon looking at all the current PRO printers, ONLY the PRo-100 does not list the EZPP PRO as compatible!
What's up with that, Canon? This is illogical and really frustrating, especially for a long time Canon fan leading the charge against the Epson lemmings.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the various print programs, nothing changes.
So at this point, with my PRO-100 I'm forced to either wade through dialogue boxes or find my anger rising with PSP.   The bit of good news is that one can get a "Pattern Print" from Manual Color adjustment, "Print a pattern for color adjustment."
Rant done. Awaiting immediate resolution from Canon. Yeah, right.

Well, I didn't get into the Adobe, pro/con, did I? I'm such a gentleman. The only way I could hurt myself is to pay a lot of money (which I don't have to spare) for programs that just aren't intuitive to me, to look at those damnable gray print on black backgrounds eyeball breakers, and have the use and control of programs so locked down I can't make a transfer to another machine without a call to Adobe.
I'm a hobbyist, not in the graphics business, so I have lots of options. Nor do I do things because "everyone" does it, or it was the first program out there (Photoshop.)
For quick looks at files and simple things, Irfanview. For complete digital asset management, digiKam. Open source, designed by Linux users, is ported to Windows, with maybe 95% good results. If I ever started working with layers and photoshop type manipulations, there's always The Gimp.
For a po' boy like me, these are all I need and all are free.

How do i increase call volume

I just got my IPhone 4S and cannot locate where to turn up the call volume, not the ringer volume, but actually increasing the loudness of the caller?

have had my iPhone 4 for the last week. I'm quite tired of people telling me to turn up the volume...it IS all the way up both using the buttons on the side and the slider...the picture tells me it is at max...I'm not deaf (yet) and the phone is CONSIDERABLY quieter than my Palm Pre. There is no plastic film over the earpiece. I have had six people in the last week say "yeah, that's the only drawback of an iPhone...but you'll get used to it." I'm not sure I'll get used to it. With so many skilled programmers out there, you would think with so many questions all over the web, we'd have an answer by now. I will pay the first person to send me a link to an app that actually increases the volume (amplifys the current in-call volume) to the volume of at least the Pre (not that great a phone or difficult a task...lots of music boosters out there, must be a way to boost the volume of the call), not using a head set, not using bluetooth, not using speakerphone: $50.00USD. No joke, this is really aggravating me!!! APPLE, PLEASE SOLVE THIS!!!

Call volume very low. blackberry, i want an answer!

It seems I am not the only Z10 owner that's very annoyed about the low call volume. And yes, my volume is turned right up. Yes, I have tried the treble, bass boost and still very quiet.
The phones lost its call volume since the last update. I'm running 10.2.1.2102.
There are many complaining about the same issue in various places on the net and no answer as to what's the issue from blackberry.
This issue is so severe that my 12 year ownership of blackberry's is about to end. Very poor support and I'm not surprised blackberry is struggling.
Personally, im leaving blackberry and heading to HTC unless this issue is acknowledged very very quickly.
This issue is historic and seems to go back neatly a year and blackberry have not addressed it.
Call volume is so low I have to literally move to somewhere quiet or ask the caller to raise their voice. Its pathetic.

Time Machine couldn't complete the backup to "Time Capsule. The backup disk image /Volumes/Data/MacBook Pro.sparsebundle could not be created (error 60)"

We are Mountain Lion using Time Machine to backup to Time Capsule. When the backup tries to run, an error appears after a couple of minutes saying "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer." Then an error shows up saying "Time Machine couldn't complete the backup to "Time Capsule.The backup disk image /Volumes/Data/MacBook Pro.sparsebundle could not be created (error 60)"
I low level reformatted the Time Capsule and that didn't fix it. I then tried using Time Machine on another computer to back up to that same Time Capsule and it worked- so I'm doubting it's the Time Capsule.
I've noticed that when Time Machine runs, that a folder called Data at /Volumes/ appears while Time Machine is trying to back up. I think it's making the sparsebundle to transfer to the Time Capsule.
However, after a couple of minutes- it comes back saying that the disk is unreadable.
I think it's something wrong with either creating the sparsebundle or opening the disk image that seems to be a part of the Time Machine backup process on the local drive.
I am able to create a disk image with Disk Utilitiy without any problem on that system. I've repaired the disk and disk permissions with Disk Utility and replaced the directory with Disk Warrior. I've trashed what preference files I could find and restarted. I've completely removed the backup destination from the computer and added it back again.

Yes, exactly. It makes one sparse bundle per Mac.
It's possible the TC's disk is too full for a new sparse bundle, or there may be some other problem.
Via the Finder, locate the existing sparse bundle (see the pink box in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Question #17 if you're not sure how to do that). See how large it is (plus how large anything else that may be there). If the total is very near the size of the TC, that may be the problem.
If not, a clue may be lurking in your logs. Use the widget in #A1 of Time Machine - Troubleshooting to display the backup messages from your logs. Locate the backup in question (probably the first one displayed), then copy and post all the messages here.

Lojack for laptops - if that is the product you purchased and installed, you will need to read the user manual or contact the manufacturer as it is 3rd party. You did file a police report right?

Reboot the TC.. Sometimes you need to reboot the whole network.
This is what comes of Lion and then made worse in Mountain Lion of Apple not spending enough time to fix the bugs.

Pull the power cord from the back of the Time Capsule
Count to ten
Plug the power cord back in
This will "fix" things about 98% of the time. Post back if you are in the unlucky 2% category.
