VIC2-2FXO and VIC-2FXO
In my environment there is a PBX connecto VIC2-2FXO at router CISCO1751-V. I have an old PBX and when I change the card to VIC-2FXO(EOL), I have from from PBX e works fine. But if I return the new card VIC2-2FXO it doesn't work, even tone is missing. What a real difference between VIC-2FXO and VIC2-2FXO

The card is comatible with 1751-4V. The VIC2 cards are the new generation cards. Working wise they are no different. I checked the configs nd they looked kinda incomplete. Usually the FXO works with a "connection plar/trunk". Neither did I notice any voip dial-peers.
Sample config for call flow : (phone---pbx---vic2-fxo---router1--ip---router2---fxs--phone)

VOIP home lab with cisco 2620 and VIC-2FXO port

I m considering building a home lab for studying CCVP, the lab would be based on the follow components :
- CUCM 8.X (already installed)
- A couple of soft phones running in VMWARE with IP Blue and CIPC (they are already in place and registered with the CUCM)
- Cisco router 2620 with NM-2V and VIC-2FXO-M2 (for europe, I'm in France)
so here are my questions :
1/ it looks like the NM-2V comes with integrated DSP, so I should not need more DSP, I have got one PSTN analogic line only so I can make only one call at a time, please confirm
2/ my analog line comes via my home internet provider dsl box, i have already tried to connect an analog phone and it works, please confirm the router will be able to receive and place calls
thanks for your help, I m looking forward to begin my voice lab1. Yes, the NM-2V has built-in DSP resources for up to four calls (max voice port density with two 1st generation VICs). You cannot add further DSP chips to the NM-1V/2V, nor would you need to for what it does. You have one PSTN phone line, thus you can only make one call at a time. If you had a second line you could use the other FXO port for a second concurrent call.
2. If the phone line works then it will work with the router to make and receive calls. As Gregory said, just configure dial peers for what you need to do.

Putting PVDMs in NM-2V / VIC-2FXO / VIC-2FXS into DSP farm
I have a Cisco 2650XM router with an NM-2V module with one VIC-2FXO and one VIC-2FXS card in it. I'm very new to Cisco voice stuff and want to get started with it. I'm trying to pool the PVDMs on this router into a DSP farm so that they can be used in CME 4.1 with call conferencing / transcoding / VoIP calls between Cisco IP Communicator and Cisco VoIP physical phones but I'm having issues doing so. I believe I'm supposed to create a DSP farm by going into "voice-card X" mode and assigning them to the DSP farm?
I know that there are PVDMs present because they are listed when I do a "show voice dsp detail." I'm not sure if the PVDMs are present in the NM-2V module or actually on the VICs. I am looking to purchase a new 2811 router and need to know if this card will work. It is located in a 1751. Here is the 'show inventory'
NAME: "WIC/VIC 2", DESCR: "2nd generation two port FXO voice interface daughtercard"
PID: 2nd generation two port FXO voice interface daughtercard, VID: 5.0
From what I can tell, a VIC-2FXO will not work in the 2811; it has to be the VIC2-2FXO. So which card is this?

How to debug "vic-2fxo"'s dialer information?
who can tell the correct way to see the debug information about the vic-2fxo?
once i have used the command" debug dialer events" and " debug dialer packets" in the router. And I can initiate a successful call from remote phone to the Call manger through the vic-2fxo in the router. But I can see any debug information in the router either at the console or at the remote terminal.

SincerelyWhat debug information are you looking for. If you are using FXO for voip purposes then debug vpm would show you the voice port signaling events and debug vtsp all would show you debug of vtsp layer when it communicates with the ccapi layer. For voip you can turn on debug voip ccapi inout. There are other deugs that can give you much more verbose information if you want to read through the h225 and h245 messages.

Look at the column 4, which is for your NM-HD-2V on 2600 platforms
It says "No"
The earlier NM-1V or NM-2V is required. That combination says "Yes" -

This is typically caused by both devices sharing an Apple ID for iMessage and FaceTime. I would recommend signing out of iMessage on your daughter's device. Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, tap your Apple ID, and select Sign Out. Then sign in with the desired Apple ID.

i need some help.
well you see up above where i have 2 iphone 2 different names for the phones and 2 different accounts with 1 itunes on widows 7.
my problem is when i update or sync my phone it grabs all her info and apps ect. and vice versa when she does it to. is there any way that i can stop this from happing again?
1 more thing this happens just on her phone when she goes to download a app for some reason my email is on her phone, we have to sign out from her phone and sign back in and put her email in any thoughts on this?By far the simplest way to do this is create separate accounts on the computer for each person. That way, you each log into your own separate account, sync your own device(s) to your own contacts/calendars/apps/music and so forth.

My nephew and I use the same iTunes account and when I add an app it is loaded on to his iPhone and vice versa... How do I make that stop? I have already unchecked the "Auto Update Apps" button. It happens with all purchases in the app store and on iTunes. HELP!
I also think separate accounts is the way to go....if he is over 13yrs also remember if you do make an account for him and use your bank card all purchases will be charged to your card.

You can share the same Apple ID in
Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: here
But for all other Apple services like:
FaceTime, iMessage, iCloud, etc, one of you should use a different Apple ID. -
I have an iphone 5 and a Macbook pro. Since upgrading to Yosemite, when I send an email from my yahoo email account or another email account linked to my website, on my iphone, the emails don't show in the sent folder in mail on my macbook pro and vice versa.
I have deleted the accounts and re-created them on both my iphone and macbook pro but the samething keeps happening.
When last I was at the istore, they were unable to sort it out and said I needed to book it in.

Are you saying you are trying to synch iMessages across two iPhones ?
Or do you mean you are trying to get iMessage that were synced to one iPhone to show on another ?
Whilst the first is possible - from the date you add the second iPhone the second is not possible.

My partner and I share an iCloud account . We both have the iPhone 5. We recently updated the software to the iOS 7.2 and now whenever she gets a text message I receive and vice versa. This never happened before only happened since the update
iCloud has nothing to do with messages (iCloud does include an email account, but not a messaging service). If you both use the same AppleID for iMessage, then you are sharing the same messaging account.
One of you needs to get an alternate AppleID, sigin out of iMessage, then sign in with the alternate AppleID. That way you will each have your own private iMessage accounts. -

If anyone could please help it would be really appreciated- thanks in advance:)I don't know how you got to your current position, but you might want to start by replacing your calendar with your MacBook Pro calendar if it is correct (if it isn't, skip this): first disable calendar syncing on your phone (Settings>iCloud>Calendars set to OFF), then prior to syncing open iTunes on your computer and disable automatic syncing (under Preferences>Devices>Disable...from syncing automatically syncing). Next connect your phone and set your sync settings on the Info tab to Syc Calendars with iCal, and below under Advanced choose "Replace Information on this iPhone" and check Calendars. Now sync and this will hopefully replicate your MacBook calendar on your iPhone.
Next, carefully review this to see that you have correctly set up iCloud on both your phone and your MacBook: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/, and that your meet the minimum system requirements (latest version of iOS on your phone, latest version of iTunes, OSX Lion 10.7.2 or later).
