VIC2-2FXO picks up then hangs up
Hi, I am having issues. All my VIC2-2FXO and VIC2-4FXO are picking up, then hanging up right away. I tried them on 1760s and 2811s. I tried a combination of supervisory disconnect, but can't get it to work. On 1760s, if I put a VIC-2FXO in the place of the VIC2-2FXO it works just fine. Is there a special command needed for VIC2s???
no logging console was set DOH...

Trouble with CCME 4 and VIC2-2FXO; IOS 12.4(9)T
I am having trouble making outgoing call or answering incoming call.
When I try to call out from my IP 7961 phone, it fails with the message "unknown number".
For incoming call, it rings but when I pick up the call nothing happens,
Put the receiver back on hook, the phone carries on ringing. I am in UK
and just trying to set up test system with one analogue line. Any help will
be most appreciated. My config of the 2811 router is posted below. All calls ineternally works fine.
Thank you for your help.

Compressor opens but no windows appear, then hangs
hi, i just used compressor, went back into it for a second job and the compressor load pop up appeared and the menu appeared at the top but none of the windows appear, happens on opening from the menu or from sending a clip to open in compressor. never had a problem with it in the past. I have followed some advice found here including trashing prefs, trashing a bunch of files in an apple support document, even reinstalling compressor and motion but the problem persists. Any ideas?
thanks in advanceI should add that the destinations/settings window does appear when i activate it from the windows menu, but absolutely nothing else activates. Compressor then hangs and always requires a force quit (which doesnt always work)
please, any help would be greatly appreciated. -
I bought a used i-pod touch 4 gen that I'm trying to set up. It isn't lettting me join my home wi-fi network. So I turn it on and I pick language, then country , then my wi-fi network. When I put in my password is says - unable to join the network. I have 4 other Apple products that I have that are working fine. Please help
Badunit you said "Continue setting up without the network. You can skip past it, right?"
It sounds like he is setting up the iPod via wif. You can't continue. What yo can do is reset the iPod
- Reset the iOS device.
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Then start the setup over again but this time connect the iPod to a computer and set up via iTunes. Then he can troubleshoot the connection proboem. -

*Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape "9.3.3"I think that it is something wrong with kernel and graphic drivers but i'm not able to solve it from the beginning of using of Arch by me.
I'm not so sure this issue is software-related only because in my case it seems the laptop screen enters power-saving mode (10-min timeout) on its own without any events logged (as shown by dmesg) so my next thought was OK, I'm going to get rid of this issue disabling the screen power-saving timeout in the BIOS and set it to never power down or something like that and from then on managing power mode manually; ie: when I want to power down I will just use systemctl suspend/hibernate which work fine ... problem is: there are no related options in my BIOS for such timeout.
The only timeouts I have are in /etc/systemd/logind.conf set to 30min (#IdleActionSec) (commented) by default so these are not in effect because the screens goes blank after 10m which is less than the (default) 30m in logind. Maybe setting loggind to 9m (un-commented) to catch the event before the machine-default one ?
IdleActionSec=9min
IdleAction=suspend
Will check it and report back. -
VIC2-2FXO why appears module 50!!!
HI experts,
my lab is a 2811 router , IOS 15 .0(1)XA, with switch 3550 and 2 cisco 7940 phones.
I want to simulate a call outside / inside from the IPhones via the FXO card connected to my analog line to the PSTN

what means the 50 ?? it can´t be the slot.. for the rest of the 2 digits 0/1, 0/2 and 0/3 I assume there is slot module/ port. And as you see into the show diag the VIC2-"FXO card is in SLOT 2 but why appears 3 ports? the card has only 2 FXO ports... . I am lost.
By the way the 2 ports on the card lighting in ambar
When I tried to configure the card , I use the help command and as you see forced me to assign 50 , later 0, and last one from 1 to 3 . Even that the command is incorrect as you see finally

Using Firefox, I can login and browse my financial institution website (NFCU) but I cannot pay bills. When I click the bill pay tab, the tab loads about 66% and then hangs (loading). I have let it load until NFCU asks me if I want to cancel the session, a much to long of a load time. Has anyone else reported having this issue with NFCU or Mozilla Firefox 3.6.18?
I have also posed the question to NFCU, currently awaiting response and will share what was given.jsavage9621,
It pains me to hear about your experience with the Home Phone Connect. This device usually works seamlessly and is a great alternative to a landline phone. It sounds like we've done our fair share of work on your account here. I'm going to go ahead and send you a Private Message so that we can access your account and review any open tickets for you. I look forward to speaking with you.

unable to bootup after Yosemite install. have to keep shutting down from rear button. it does come on after a few times but then hangs at user login again. If you get in it is great. Seems faster than Mavericks but there is some sort of issue, bootup /login.
Knock on wood, this seems to have been my problem as well. I stumbled on this thread after dealing with this ridiculously-long boot times for the past several weeks.
I just reinstalled McAfee Antivirus and my Macbook Air booted up in less than 1 minute. No more hanging on the boot-up progress bar. No more hanging after I click on my user's avatar on the log-in screen. Bootup would often take 5+ minutes and sometimes never complete.
This has been SUPREMELY frustrating.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING YOUR RESPONSE!!! -
When updating attempts compatability with HP websmart then hangs only rstore cures
when a new update is offered my laptop tries to load the update it then reaches a point where it tries to find compatibility with HP websmart It then hands and if I try to cancel the update firefox then hangs with the loading message and the rotating dots. I have removes all the HP printer files I can find and no longer use a HP printer but the problem persists. Using system restore rights the problem but then I don't have the update. Help please
Select '''"Don't Check"''' for the "compatibility check" that appears after the restart to install the updates. Firefox won't look beyond the AMO website when looking for the compatibility information for addons, and that HP Websmart addon isn't hosted at AMO.

Start up problems, get the circle with slash symbol then hangs forever
I did a bad thing, I downloaded some software from the Internet. It was from Smith Micro. After the first re-start after installing, I had start-up problems with the "not allowed symbol" (a circle with a slash through it) coming after the Apple symbol then hanging forever.
The Smith-Micro programs I down loaded were Spring Clean-up and Internet Clean-up. I have not used either program, just installed them.
I have run Disk Utilities from my start-up disk, everything tested out perfectly. Tried a Safe Boot, computer started up but I couldn't do anything (useless for me). Tried to Zap P-RAM, didn't work. Tried booting in target mode, got a weird symbol ( can't even explain this one) and it just hung there. Unconditional reboot works, and I can use the computer like normal. Does the unconditional boot mess anything up. Should I use it from now on?
I used the included uninstaller for both Spring Cleaning and Internet Clean-up, the computer still won't start-up normally. There's hardly any circumstance that requires the so-called "clean" install; it's a windoze-centric thing. Just reinstall, ensure that fixed the issue, then run Software Update. Snow Leopard's installer only replaces the OS components and basic Apple apps, such as TextEdit, Mail, Safari, Terminal, and Calculator, leaving *everything else* in place. In the future, always make a restorable backup before installing new stuff.

iTunes looks for iPad and then hangs and i have to force quit. If i dock the iPad before opening iTunes it doesn't open at all...... any help would be much appreciated.Hello Manaz
I am facing the same problem with my iPad! However I was able to turn it off except that while trying to retore my iPad through iTunes, it takes iTunes like forever waiting for iPad! I tried repeating the restore process for three days now but my iPad doesn't respons! do you have a solution to this problem?
Thank you in advance.

FaceTime call to my iMac will only ring once then hang up and won't let me answer. How do I make it ring more times? I can call my iphone 4 from the imac with no problem but when I call my imac from my phone, it won't let me answer.
This article is pretty long but it has a troubleshooting guide near the bottom, and especially mentions your problem with a few things to try.

Idvd burns one dvd, then hangs?
I'm working on a larger project, 6 segments totaling a little over 3 hours, twice I've made a new project in idvd which burns the disc fine but on the 2nd disc burns partway then hangs. From the good info on here i deleted the prefs file and then repaired permissions which I tried after the first time, but no good, one disc then poof! I am using double layer discs.
I didn't work from a disc image which I wish now I would have done and will try next, is this happening because of the size of the files?
I think the dv files are a total of 40-50 gigs.
I had trouble copying the original in toast, so I thought maybe it was the superdrive but I've gotten 2 good dvds.
Any ideas? Thanks!
I am using x.4.8 so it's not the 4.9 problem, and 4 gigs of ram.iDVD does not ask how many copies you want to burn at the start. When it has burnt the first copy, it then asks if you want to burn another one. Toast, at the start, asks how many copies you want to make. Thanks for replying

Hi All,
we need to install VIC2-2FXO card on Cisco 2901 router .
On cisco 2901 router, we would configure as MGCP and we do not have any BRI/PRI link on the router.
Is it possible to make the solution work or we need to configure Voice Gateway as H.323 ?
Any ideas?
Regards,
Rebecca...Here is a good link with details of config on gateway and cucm
