Video and Audio with 1 second delay

I am editing on a MAC with Premiere Pro Cs6, 6.01(014 (MC:264587)) a 45 minute file from an Ipad 3, 720. The origina file is synchronized perfectly, you can play withe Quicktime viewer and the lips move with the audio. After using that single file on one sequence, and applying ONLY accelerated efects, like Zoom (motion) and RGB curves, plus audio volume up, if I play it back, the lips are ahead the audio by between 1 and 2 seconds. If I export it to H264, the same issue remains and you can see it on Youtube. This renders Premiere CS6 completely useless for any practical purpose.
Is there any way to fix this?? I am calling for support tomorrow, but wanted your opinions first.

Your theory is proven false.
On the contrary, the variable framerate is the cause of sync issues and you just confirmed it.
Similarly, would you say that FCP is completely useless for all practical purposes, because it can't create Blu Ray disks?

  • Syncing controls for video and audio, with Closed Caption

    Hello,
    First, I have Closed Caption and audio within my slide (no audio in video, because I couldn't use Closed Caption then) but now the audio can be turned on/off from project control bar while video continues to play. I tried to add a control bar to the video (hoping I would have control over both playing and audio) but now audio is controled by project slide control bar and video is controled by video control bar.
    Is there any way to sync the 2 control bars? Or at least give control to the audio on the video control bar instead of the project control bar?
    Thanks,

  • Dual video and audio with mac mini

    Hi there,
    I am looking at purchasing a mac mini, but would like to know if it is possible to have 2 monitors attached, but each monitor would have a different sound.
    Example.
    Video playing on the HD TV and then listen to music via the audio out.
    Many thanks

    The dual monitors is not a problem, but the audio scenario you're suggesting will only work if the music is streamed via Airplay.  I believe since mini only has a single audio card, output via conventional outputs (SPDIF, HDMI, 1/8") may only work one at a time.  Airplay streams music as data, and not as a signal, so that's how you'd work around that.

  • Fastest way to transfer video and audio from MacBook to TV?

    Hello All,
    Thanks for visiting my page. I would like to transfer video and audio from my Macbook mid-2010 (specs below), and would like to do so with minimum lag. I m aware Apple TV has a feature which allows me to do that, however considering it is connected via either wi-fi or bluetooth (not sure which) I feel streaming an HD movie or playing an MMO will cause significant lag and/or a distorted picture.
    So with that said, what is the best way to transfer video and audio with minimal lag?
    Also, as a part II of the question, will the picture be distorted regardless if my TV is 60 inches?
    Thanks for the feed back!
    Macbook Specs:
    Processor  2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    Memory  8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
    Graphics  NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB
    Software  OS X 10.8.4 (12E55)

    The easiest and most reliable option is to connect your Mac to the TV wired. Just buy a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter and a HDMI cable to connect your MacBook to your TV. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4241 Image and sound will appear on the TV automatically.
    If the adapter and cable are OK, you won't get the picture distorted. Your Mac will try to use the maximum resolution the GPU allows in order to adapt the picture to your TV. It may not support the maximum resolution of the TV, but picture won't be distorted

  • How to combine rtp data containing video and audio?

    Hi
    I have a problem. I was examining with AVTransmit3.java and AVReceive3.java. I found that AVTransmit3 sending video and audio with different ports. It's okey as it is done as JMStudio. but my question is how can I receive this packets as raw bytes and combines them into one media file to play at a time in a player. May be very fundamental question but tough for me as i m novis as jmf programmer.

    Look in the JMF Guide regarding multiplexors and demultiplexors. It give the whole breakdown of how this works (and I think examples).

  • Delay of 5 seconds between Video and Audio.

    Hi,
    I've a site where consumer can take a live meeting with the beauty consultant. The problem I'm facing is during the video chat. Basically there is a delay of 5 seconds between Video and Audio when I access the site from out of my network but when I access it within my network (VPN) then it's work fine.

    Go through the article "http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashmediaserver/articles/dynstream_live.html" and see paragraph with heading "Obtaining client maximum bandwidth capacity". This says how to use "Live aggregate messages". You can try disabling it also which can be done as below:
    Find Application.xml in this conf directory and search for queue tag. Disable the queue.
    <Application>
                    <!-- Live queuing and aggregate messages are turned off the multicast  -->
                    <!-- sample application to enhance the performance and flow of messages -->
                    <!-- delivered to multicast streams. Setting the queue to "true" can        -->
                    <!-- cause delay in the multicast playback.                                                            -->
                    <StreamManager>
                                    <Live>
                                                    <Queue enabled="false">
                                                                    <AggregateMessages enabled="false">
                                                                    </AggregateMessages>
                                                    </Queue>
                                    </Live>

  • Delay in video and Audio

    I use iChat to video chat with two friends in the UK. One is a o2 user and the other is a talktalk user. Wen chatting we experience an up to 7 seconds delay in voice and Video and audio. When we change to Skype there is no delay. Can you explain and solve this please. You do a great job Ralph. Thank you.

    Hi,
    Umm Bermuda.
    Ok Start with.
    If anyone is on 10.5.x then go to System Preferences > Quicktime > Streaming at set the drop down to 1.5Mbps and restart iChat (so it "Sees" the new speed)
    On Snow Leopard and Leopard computers go to iChat > Preferences > Video Section and set the Bandwidth to 500kbps as a starting point.
    If this in itself does nor sort the issue the slowest Buddy (Internet Connection) should drop their's to 200kbps - This is on the iChat Limit in a 3 or 4 way chat as the Specs say 384k
    It is worth while having the Connection Doctor (Video Menu) open for this.
    Also try changing who is Host.
    Ideally it should be the one with the fastest Internet connection.
    I have a vague feeling about Bermuda or one of the other small islands where the Local telephone company had become the default ISP - and in the day of iChat 3 where effectively blocking iChat by blocking the SIP Ports (Vonage and other VoIP adapters) that "lost" them Long Distance Telephone connection monies.
    The thread about that was some time ago.
    It maybe that they cannot support Video chats (Or lots of Off island Video Chats and On-line gaming) due to the ISP's own data rate to the "Main land".
    Does it become apparent when you join the chat ?
    Or does it not matter who hosts and who joins last ?

  • Video and audio not synchrone with apple tv after update mountian lion on macbook pro

    i have a problem with my apple tv. after i bought and instaled mountain lion on my mac book pro i have trouble with apple tv and my laptop. when my laptop conects with apple tv most of the time my wifi doesnt work on my macbook but on my apple tv it stil does work. when it does work and i play a movie of my own by using itunes the first second the video and audio is synchrone but after that audio is at normal speed but the video gets behind. and i am getting sick of it. does sumbody reconize the problem and can help me with this problem?????

    Same issue here- I can airplay my amazon prime library just fine from my iphone 5 but on my macbook- (mavericks, 15 inch 2013 retina with quad core i7, nvidia 650 M and SSD) it just sputters and lags.
    I have noticed web video is considerably worse than local content, giving me pauses of up to 2 or 3 seconds in which video stops but audio continues in the amazon player. Youku video, however, seems relatively stable. Our subscription speed is 25 mbps, so that should be plenty to stream SD video from Amazon and doesn't account for why it would be nice and stable from the iphone, but not the mbp.
    Playing light, locally hosted steam sidescrollers  like Limbo is better but gives periodic drops in framerate on the Tv. when mirroring the framerate remains steady on the MBP screen.
    Games airplayed from my iphone seem relatively stable, though with a noticably lower framerate on the TV than on the phone.
    It seems these issues have abated considerably since yesterday's Apple TV update, but are still curious nonetheless and I'm not sure that the update yesterday was specifically meant to address those issues or if I'm just getting a time with less network interference now.
    Comcast recently installed a new router/modem/phone combo, replacing our old separate modem and router setup. I'm going to test if putting the network on a different channel helps.

  • My video and audio streaming always break-up (or I have delays)

    When I watch a video from MSNBC thevideo and audio streaming always delays. Any idea what the problem is or how I can fix it.

    Premiere does not work well with variable frame rate video which, I expect, the ipad produces, You might have to convert the footage before you import it into Premiere. Do a forum search for variable frame rate, there are a lot of posts.

  • Having problems with Video and Audio

    Hi - I am new to Captivate.  I have created a demostration with about 85 slides with audio on each slide.  When I preview the project all is fine.  When I publish the swf and htm and play on my machine all is fine.  However when my colleagues try and listen to the demo, the video and audio get out of sync.  The audio seems to go faster than the video.  I am not sure if it is due to the sound speeding up or the video slowing down.  Has anybody seen this bfore ?  Can anybody help ?  I am using Captivate 4 with the latest patch

    Hi there
    I've seen others suggest that adjusting the audio clips for each slide so they begin playing at perhaps .1 or .2 seconds after the slide begins solves the issue.
    Perhaps you will have good luck with this approach as well.
    Cheers... Rick

  • With newer MacBook Air, sending both video and audio to an LG TV works fine, but I want to send the audio to a sound bar attached to the TV.  Any way to do this?

    I am trying to get audio to play through the soundbar attached to the TV for great sound.  Works fine with Apple TV, but on the MacBook Air, system preferences will only find the TV speakers.  If I change the settings on the TV to external speakers (the soundbar), then I get no sound at all.  The HDMI connection does what it is supposed to do, providing video and audio, but the audio can only go to the TV.  I don't know if you can go backward and send only video through HDMI and then connect to the soundbar through the mini jack ports on the computer and the soundbar.  Any solutions will be appreciated.

    its important to do this in the correct order so the camera will be senced by the Mac and to prevent the Firewire connection from electrical damage:
    power down your Mac
    connect firewire from camera to Mac
    power on camera and insert tape in camera and play back
    power up Mac
    start QuickTime
    File > Preferences > record tab
    video source - select the camera you have
    sound source - select the camera you have
    quality - select device native
    the video should show in the QuicTime window
    a  green line below video will show presence of sound-it will play through the speakers if they are selected in system prefernces
    rewind tape and playback
    click on red button to start recording

  • Video and audio (in one direction only) deteriorate after about 90 seconds

    I begin a two-way video chat as normal, both parties can see and hear clearly. After about one and a half minutes of normal video chat, the person on the other end suddenly starts getting a highly pixelated image of me, and they start to lose chunks of audio from me. Meanwhile I continue to get a very nice clear video and audio from them. We usually end up closing the chat, because they are unable to hear or see me enough to continue.
    The first 1.5 minutes or so is always clear, it starts after that. I always receive good audio and sound from the other party throughout the chat. I have never had problems receiving video/audio.
    It happens with most (but not all) people I connect to. I am in California, and I always have this trouble when connecting to a relative in Connecticut. I have the problem again with one relative in Sydney Australia, but not with a different relative in Sydney. These are just a few examples by location.
    I have repeatedly tested my connection speeds, and I have good up and down speeds - more than the minimum requirements. (My speed today is 8200 kb/s Down, 1309 kb/s up).
    I have also tried:
    Checking my Quicktime settings - (set to 1.5 Mbps T1/Intranet/LAN)
    Bypassing my Airport modem/router, by connecting directly by ethernet to my Comcast cable modem (which has no router built in)
    Replaced the cable modem with a brand new one.
    Changed locations - tried it at a friend's house, still had the same problem.
    So, I think I have isolated the problem to my PowerBook. This PowerBook used to do iChats really well for at least 18 months. I have been having this issue for about 5 or 6 months now. I have no idea what the problem could be. Any tips would be much appreciated.
    Thanks, Martin
    My setup:
    ISP: Comcast Cable (Cable modem)
    Apple Airport Exteme Base Station
    Powerbook G4 1.67Ghz, 1 GB RAM, 80 GB HD
    O/S: Tiger 10.4.10
    iChat 3.1.8 (with Chax)
    External iSight camera

    With Comcast.
    Try rebooting the Modem.
    This seems to refresh the connection in some manner.
    Also speak to them. They may not admit any connection management but thing may "magically" get better.

    To start from the PC end you need to start a text chat, then select the Video icon at the bottom of the chat window.
    If one of you has a camera and the other has a Mic then you will be able to video chat One Way but sound will be both ways.
    To start this type of chat from the Mac end you will have to go to the menu item "Buddies" and drop down to the item "Invite to One Way Video Chat"
    To start this from a PC follow the directions in the paragraph above. You may need to change the tab to the incoming Video at the back of the two to see the Video. These tabs are added when the Video chat starts and the front one normally states you do not have a camera and shows a connection to buy one.
    It is also possible to chat One Way if the other person does not have a Mic: replies will have to be typed in a Text chat.
    No Camera and No Mic will cause iChat to End the chat with "No Data Received for 10 Secs"
    Summary
    PC end gets AIM 5.9 or Trillian Pro.
    The PC end allows the app through the XP Firewall.
    AIM 5.9 needs "Tuning" to Camera and Mic.
    For any sort of sound to a PC using AIM, (Talk in PC or Audio in iChat) the Mac will need a camera. The other person can have a Mic and then live chats with sound both ways and Pictures (Video) One-Way.
    NOTE: At This Time It Is NOT Possible to Audio (sound only) between Mac & PC with AIM & iChat
    Trillian Basic can Audio. Trillian Pro can Video and has a bigger picture and can do Full Screen.
    Another explanation of the set up can be found Here about AIM 5.5 but is transferable to AIM 5.9.

    What do I need to use Real-Time IM?
    You and your buddy need to be using AIM® 6.8 or higher to use Real-Time IM. Unfortunately, Real-Time IM does not yet work with older AIM clients, iChat®, or AIM® for Mac®.

    At the Mac end
    1 Mac running OS 10.3.x and iChat AV ver 2.1 or 10.4 plus iChat 3
    A DSL (Broadband) connection of at least an up link speed of 256kbs.
