Video and Pics uploaded to a Mac without my iTunes.

To free up memory on my iPhone 5, I uploaded my videos and pictures to my wife's MacBook Pro. It asked me if I wanted to delete all photos after upload and I selected yes. However I decided that they were videos that I would have liked to keep on my iPhone. My wife's MacBook does not have my iTunes account on it. So ultimately no way to sync to my iPad or iPhone. How can I get the videos off of the MacBook and back on to my iPhone?

iTunes does not create nor burn DVDs. You'll need to use other DVD creation software to create and burn a disk, working with either the original file of the video or the copy in the iTunes folder.

No. The information in that support file does not help. I went through everything there. I now have Mac OS X 10.6.2 with ILife09 installed. The computer is 3 months old and came with Mac OS X 10.5.8 with iLife08 preinstalled. It worked with my Sony HDR-SR12E immediately on connection. iMovie08 displayed the content of the cameras disc in a timeline form where I could choose what to import. Clean and simple. Then Snow Leopard came out and it promised to be better, faster and more efficient. So I bought the whole Max Box set with iLife09, iWork09 and Snow Leopard. Made a clean format of the hard drive and installed everything on a clean machine. Everything seems to be OK except for the camera. When connected the system sees the cameras hard drive as just another drive. But iMovie09 does not see the camera anymore... thats the story.

Is it possible to transfer music, videos, and pics from iTouch to iTunes?

The PC I am using was reformatted due to some viruses present. Together with the files that were deleted was my iTunes software. Right after the PC was restored, I downloaded iTunes. I was wondering if I could transfer the music, videos, and pics in my iTouch to my new iTunes library. If not, what else can I do? Please help.

Creating album page with both video and pics

recently switched from pc to mac. was using blogger and coppermine for online photo album but want to give this iweb thing a try... is there a way in iweb to create a page that has both video and pics? i tried uploading my album but it only transferred the pics.

Yes, you can do this. Just throw in the thumbnail pics of your video with the rest of your photos. Then put your real videos on separate movie pages. Then back to your photo page...you need to make the hyperlinks. So what you need to do is to create little rectangle shapes that fit over the video thumbnails, attach hyperlinks to the respective movie pages, then using the Inspector Graphics tab make the rectangle shapes 1% opacity so that the underlying thumbnail shows through. This is the overlay trick to get the hyperlink working.

Did you backup to iCloud before it was lost? The iPhone normally does it if you leave it charging with internet connection via wireless. Either ways go to iCloud.com and enter your Apple ID and password and check if your info is there.

Photoshop CS5 compatibility to Apple products and uploading program to Mac without disk

I recently purchased a Mac Air and wanted to make sure that my version of Photoshop (CS5) was compatible to Apple products and whether it can be installed on the Mac without a disk, as we have misplaced ours.

The rest is irrelevant. Yes, there are compatibility issues, but since Adobe doesn't support it, anyway, you are on your own, no matter what.

any pics or videos i take using my playbook or any i upload do not show up in the built-in video and picture viewing apps that come with the playbook? older pics/vids do show up though. help please?

Videos and pics on Ovi

Hello, all. Just started using Ovi with my N79. I have two problems, and i hope the most experienced users help me out with this:
1)When I use the Sync function, I set it to sync multimedia (pics and vids). The problem is that I dont know where are the files going, despite I set Desktop, I cannot find them anywhere in my computer. I know they are transferred to my pc because of the sync history.
2)When I open the gallery tab, the software begins to search for all the images, videos and music.The problem is that it searches not only for the files I created, but searches also for the temporary files. I have tried to erase the folder from My PC, and still they are shown on Ovi soft. I have tried to erase them one by one, but they are over 20.000 files, so I think it wouldn't be practical. I have attached a pic showing some of the files. I see it this way: Despite I erase the temp folder, the files are still shown, and it's like the gallery needs to be refreshed.
The very first file you'll see, in the red circle, means that it couldn't be open, because I erased the temp folder, but as I say, it is still there. So my question is, is there anyway to "refresh" or make these files do not show up next time I open Ovi Software??? thanks and sorry for being so confusing...

Does anybody know, how to store the converted videos onto PC itself...?
OVI Suite converts the videos to mp4 format and transfers it to Phone only. I cannot find the option to store the converted videos to PC.
Since this gives me limitation to always connect my Phone to PC, while converting the Videos through OVI.
What i need to do everytime is start converting video -> it automatically gets uploaded in Phone -> then copy back from Phone to PC.
Instead of this , i want to convert all the movies first directly on to PC..isnt that better option to save the time...?

I think you have to have the files on your HD. So either put them in iPhoto or copy them to a folder in Finder, and from there you can upload to Facebook.

Shooting Concert video and Pics.

I have a Canon SX260 HS, I am not all that familiar with it. I am going to a fairly big concert soon and I would like to take some decent video and shoot a few pics. What would be the best setting for this? Any help would be appreciated.

Take it to an Apple Store for assistance. However, the iPad will be returned to its out of the box configuration (erased). You may be asked to provide proof that the iPad is yours.

How do I upload my video from my camcorder to my MAC without using firewire?

My mac was purchase in 2009 and I have imovie '09 installed. It has a mini DVI port but no firewire port. Please tell me there is a way to get video from a camcorder to imovie? Right now I have a Sony DV camcorder but I'm willing to purchase a new camcorder that is compatible if necessary. Help!

If you want to use your DV camcorder you need firewire. If you have tapes that you would like to import to iMovie, your best bet is to find a friend with an iMac that will let you capture to an external hard disk. Once the movies are on a hard drive, you can use USB. You only need Firewire when capturing off tape. Another option would be to hire a service that will put your tapes on a hard drive. You can Goole for these.
If you would consider a new camera, get a camcorder that shoots AVCHD or h.264 or iFrame. These attach via USB. If you get a camcorder that uses an SDHC or SDXC card, you can import from a USB card reader.

I did a backup on my iPod touch and it said it worked...but now it won't let me access anything and says "iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. You must restore this IPod before it can be used." I will lose all my videos and pics if I do that

I did a backup on my iPod touch last night and it said it worked...I wanted to make sure my 1100 pictures and videos, mostly of my son, were safe since we rarely use the iPod touch anymore since we bought an iPad...I can't find them or I have no idea how to access them...I do not have a MAC...I have an HP computer with windows...
Now when I try to use my iTunes a message comes up that says my iPod is on recovery mode and has to do a restore to use my iTunes again...so when u click on that it states that pushing that button will restore my iPod touch to its factory settings...which means I will lose all my data...which I CANNOT do bc the videos of my son are some of his first words, first giggles, etc.
Now my iPod is stuck on a screen with a picture of a USB cord and an iTunes icon... and holding the power and push buttons down at the same time does nothing except bring up the apple icon for a moment and then it goes right back to the USB and iTunes icon
When I called Apple they said in order to talk to tech support I had to pay a fee of 19 dollars...which I think is kind of crap...I paid over 300 dollars for this and all I want is somebody to help me access my pics...I have done nothing wrong...this iPod was never dropped and never broke...I did the backup like I was supposed to and now I have an IPod touch that does nothing, and if my library of pics and videos are on my computer, I have no clue where or how to view them or back them up onto DVD....
I'm very upset and frustrated...please help!!!

You should really read the manual.

Restore. When given the choice, choose to use backup.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.
